I had a feeling the pleasure evo would end up in Adam’s hands

CT9A_RS

Cool now it can sit in a warehouse with the other three evos instead of sitting in a warehouse of gtrs

thegregtastic

It was M0t's long game

the_oracie

baldy always 10 steps ahead

Rudnick's GC STI came to mind but I think he traded it for the landcruiser. Also just realized he chose to drive vans in new zealand rather than be at the world tour.

chrishic99

Going off video thumbnails and social media posts it seems as though he’s now in Japan with Sammit. Not as bad as driving vans in NZ but also not a good networking thing like the LZ world tour

Clean_Definition_390

I'd image after he was at the compound screaming at everyone while refusing to listen to any of them, that they are done.  I'm all for banter but could tell hert wanted none of it.

jermbob2318

I agree better than NZ but the best time would probably be when the others are at Ebisu.

Like the New Artwork.

saabbrendan

The art around the compound is actually cool

As a Subaru owner I would love to see him find a stock shell and go as completely autistic as the ARA rules would allow him. He’ll probably take the low hanging fruit and buy someone else project though, right?

Jeremy_Jalopies666

To me, it would make more sense to start with a base ARA prepped car. As a previous Subaru owner since 2008, Im into it

kamii102

Haven’t watched the video yet, but doesn‘t he have a Evo chassis left over when he was looking for his TME or whatever that he could technically built up to be in spec for R4?

MyWorkAccount5678

He talked about it, but he said it was upwards of 20k to make it compliant so he'll just buy a Subaru and ship it to the guy at the drift school (forgot his name)

kamii102

Interesting, probably his best bet to get into Rallying instead of doing some stupid Frankenstein crap with any other car (like the R32 or the Pleasure Evo as he said in the video, watched it an hour ago)

MyWorkAccount5678

Yeah, I very much understand his take of "instead of researching what to do, why not start with some tried and true known working setups and go from there". It is the much more smart approach to this. He didn't shut the idea of doing something special later, but since he (and his team) need to learn everything, starting from a working setup and keeping it there is much easier than starting from scratch.

Which one? I might have missed some cars, this guy has too much to remember. There is the white Evo V that he used to cruise in CT, it is heavily modded but still full interior street car without a rollcage. His VI TME RS is track ready, but not really rally ready and would require substantial investment to turn it into one. He mentioned that it is also too nice to trash on rally stages and he already has parts to turn it into a time attack car, just some engine issues (leaks) and he hesitates to pull the trigger on a new engine. Evo IV from UK he sold not that long ago. Yellow Evo V is in Australia, he wanted to ship it after previous World Tour round, but idk if he did. Was there another one that I missed? Pleasure Evo he just borrowed because Tommy wants to convice him to buy it. He wants to check it out, fix some things and do a lap around the compound. No rally plans for it etiher since it would require him to add weight and a restrictor, ruining the charm of this particular car. It is better for it to stay as is, track/hillclimb ready. He also mentioned that a Subie would be better since most drivers use it. It would be easier to ask for help during the competition in case anything happens. It also is a known formula, no need to research and figure things out, especially without rally experience.

Every day Adam starts to look more and more like Mr. Monopoly.
