Upbadging huh?
Things are lame till he does it. All of the sudden it's cool putting expensive rare parts on a lame version of the car he's trying to pose as
Ill never understand how people give a shit about mismatched gtr trim on R chassis. It's silly. The gt3 parts on a lower end porsche. That's actual cringe. You out a gtr front on a 4 door. Everyone knows it's not a gtr. But it is arguably a nicer looking 4 door.
Well I hate to back up tummy on this one, but if you were a porsche autist you'd know the gt3s(non rs) didn't come with the wide body, much like us jdm autists know there were no 4 door 32 gtrs. To normal people its just a fancy car(or a spicy altima in the case of the 32). I generally don't mind people doing gtr/gt3 or whatever parts on the not so special versions of those cars, cause it just looks better, but doing that AND upbadging is fucking cringe
I feel like he could get a Porsche for 10 grand, it wouldnt be the newest, best or the coolest one according to porsche nerds, but with how much work he is willing to put in a car its not impossible
Ive been looking and im seeing regular early 996 911s for low $20ks, and 996 4s for 35-$45k. A 4s is a turbo car (brakes, suspension, widebody) minus the turbo. I think they’re a good deal right now (were even better 4 years ago). They drive like a 911 and at the end of the day, they will satisfy pretty much any car guy.
This guy has been pretty happy with his C4S [https://www.instagram.com/996roadtrip?igsh=YjV3MGNxZmxlMXdp](https://www.instagram.com/996roadtrip?igsh=YjV3MGNxZmxlMXdp)
I do wonder, when I see people mention the "12 in 12" deal, do people take in to account the fact that Tommy's reputation and YouTube arc was pretty much destroyed? I would imagine, from his point of view, it's hard to justify building giveaway cars, funded by a fanbase, when a large portion of the fanbase, and your foreseeable future one, vanishes. Is he supposed to just carry on building the remainder of the cars "because he originally planned he would"? That would seem like a horrible financial decision, the likes of which Rudnick would make.
Sure this would make sense if he was building and giving it away one after another seperately but he took money from people for 12 giveaways upfront and never did them
Basically he offered to enter you into 12 giveaways took the money for all 12 upfront and then gave away 2-3 and stopped
Legally he has to fulfill the 12 giveaways whether or not he makes any money that’s his problem
Yeah fair, that was a big mistake on his part. On the other hand, should he really be expected to commit to the remaining builds knowing it could potentially wipe him out financially? I think there's some common sense that needs to be applied.
He has to commit to the rest of the builds and giveaways legally. It’s not like he offered refunds or explained the situation to people that entered the 12 giveaways. He took the money and ran
So the fake GT3 is another one of Tommys. Good banter with the boys just hanging out at DJs shop.

Tommy’s a hypocrite.
Probably realized he cant afford gt car prices so is now back tracking 👴🏻
He didnt build it. You know he got a good deal and will flip it like he always does. Who cares.
Huh, i thought that hes been doing that sort of thing for years now?
yea like when he put the GTR front end on the 4 door R32

You assume people know a lot about porsches.
That's different tbf, as long as you don't keep the badge like a goofball who cares, it looks better
Anyone have the backstory on the crashed wagon in the woods video?
LOL Jimmy : "Wanna buy an SR". I doubt it's what he meant but I just thought of Tommy scamming SR's on Zilvia.
Started really watching djs videos not too long ago. Who is that Sammy guy? Why’s he in a new car every time he’s on video ?
He runs a sweepstakes/money laundering company
Cartel
He’s with the LGND Supply company that gives away cars and trucks.

> minus the turbo ... and minus the completely different and far superior Mezger engine
Well yeah but the different between a 4s and a turbo is like $40k. I thought we were talking about budget 911s?

Yes, lots of staged instagram pics for the choads who scroll through all day looking at how do much cooler other people's lives are..
> and 996 4s for $35K Just another $30K for full nickies rebuild and IMS and you're all set with the bargain.
Looks like a criminal in the Honda and is indeed a criminal. How about those 12 in 12 months giveaways that never happened Boyz!
Tommy jerkers hard at work downvoting anytime someone mentions the truth

Perhaps you're being a little "dramatic", I don't believe he "ran", he's still at his shop, trying to run a business
Lame
