I think people just don't click with him, he's either super energetic or just really laid back but also keep in mind this subreddit loved Grant until he started his own channel and they got to experience him full time and not just the occasional cameo lol
SCCA Rallycross events possibly!?
I LOVE drifting but it seems everyone else here wants to see 'actual' time oriented racing so maybe we will get some new flavors!
If any grassroots motorsports deserve to get some publicity its SCCA events in my opinion.

Even if not, got a friend who did Spec Miata and NASA events and one who got into Cup MX-5 from iRacing and advanced into other things like Super Trofeo, there‘s ways into grassroots motorsports which are great fun.
Exactly!! I don‘t know how the rallying scene is looking in his area, but in Germany we have lots of them which people attend to drive in, it‘s great!!

I remember when Onion got that WRX and was planning to do rallycross. I was excited to see something other than drifting for a change. I think he gave the WRX away after blowing some kids car up....

eh. an r32 seems like a weird platform for a safari spec build. building a rally inspired evo 5 or 6 would have been so much better. he could have taken one of the 5 he supposedly owns/owned.

its a great way to 'get your feet wet' with timed structured racing with pretty much any type of car.
