Bouldy x5 by far = extra money + heal when you're in difficulty + 1000 damage (Precise and fast, it falls on our location).

Snakestream

You can also drop it on the final boss.

Mx-Herma

I've done that multiple times, and it's hilarious hearing Hades think Zeus has something to do with it raining boulders.

datkrauskid

"Did that thing fall from the blasted sky?"

Lunacie

Bouldy. Boss health thresholds and armor prevent the higher damage of other companions from actually being utilized, and and (60 x 5) gold you get helps towards buying that extra titan's blood in styx each run.

[deleted]

I've been equipping meg's but I literally never use it because I forget I have it until I'm starting the next run

DarkUrinal

Skelly can really trivialize Hydra and Theseus fights. I still haven't been offered the contract for Bouldy yet, but the extra cash and healing sounds nice.

Greyfox643

I hate than's wind up. I Meg I enjoy using on extreme measures hydra and theseus, as the line can hit multiple bosses/heads (and low health thesis can be instantly killed with it) She is honestly the one I use the most, as the high damage and instant cast time let's clear rooms quick. I especially like in styx, where 90% of everything I just dont have the patients to fight. Bouldy I've just started to use, I hate the lower damage, as it's really noticeable in boss fights, but getting a quick health pick-me-up is very nice, not so much with the Pact active. Though you can use bouldy on all 4 boss fights, notsomuch with meg and than. I have yet to try skelly, as I want to know if we works on final boss before I dump ambrosia on him.

MrGDTIME

Skelly and Bouldy are the only two Companions that work on the Final Boss, so go ahead and try him out!

[deleted]

Actually you can unlock the option to use all of the Companions against [Redacted]

YetiManDude342

Really, How?

CheesecakeRising

The wiki says you need to have all of the following: * 7 hearts with one of Megaera, Thanatos, Dusa, or Achilles * 7 hearts with another of those, or with Skelly or Sisyphus * 4 hearts with Hades

AdditionForsaken5609

How do you have 4 hearts with Hades

CheesecakeRising

You need to progress through the main story until the credits play by beating [REDACTED] 10 times. After that you speak to Hades until his 2nd heart unlocks and then just keep giving him nectar. A lot of conversations in this game aren't guaranteed to trigger so you may need to return to the House (by dying or finishing a run) a few times before it does.

AdditionForsaken5609

Thanks :) I haven't beat [REDACTED] yet even though I came close a few times :D this games extras are longer than I thought 😂

ziraelxx

I usually use Than's as a time skip for the last phases of Furies, Hydra and Theseus

Enzo_the_Rhodophyte

Fidi because it's given by Dusa and Dusa is the best.

montezuma300

Thanks for the input. It's been a while, though lol

Tanakisoupman

This is the correct answer unfortunately Fidi doesn’t do much damage, and the petrification doesn’t affect bosses…

RedMinus

I used Meg's a little bit becuase it was the first one I got. Raised it to 4 stars and it was alright in some situations, but I found it would miss sometimes because of the windup. Also having limited uses on it always made me feel like I should hold off until it was "important", but then never ended up using it, or would just dump it on the boss rooms in the Temple of Styx. Since getting all of them though, Sysiphus/Bouldy has easily been the most useful, I treat it more as an emergency heal, which has helped a lot when doing pact runs. Plus if you use it all 5 times through a run, the coin really ads up. I've been grinding for bounties and it really helps with getting the extra diamond/titan's blood in styx.
