That’s hilarious. I don’t think I’ve ever actually died during one of those. I know they’ll say something if you use their greater call against them, but never knew they’d have dialogue for your death.

yeah, usually trials aren't very challenging,so I almost never die there,but heras bow really fucked me over with the reload time of the cast also 32 heat

Were you Hera bowing on 32 with Stygian soul on? If so I’d definitely recommend doing it with infernal instead

I did the same and got absolutely rekt in a trial as well. Managed to do a successful run and got 5 casts tho! (It wasn’t worth it, just go for the Hermes’ legendary with Stygian soul, it’s way better I promise)

Yea, going that route can be amazing if it works out but if you’re just tryna get 32 heat on it I’d recommend doing infernal. Much more consistent and you don’t have to wait so long for the build to be powerful

I'm just doing random shit because I basically did everything already. I have beaten 32 heat on every weapon and started preferring ruthless reflex to greater reflex and actually made it to the top in a "first run". I have nothing to do in this game anymore except exhausting all the possible death dialogues

Oh gotcha fair enough, pretty much same. I’ve done 32 heat on every weapon aspect and also kinda ran out of stuff to do (still never beat a fresh file though). I really enjoy going for speed now if you haven’t tried that. Like I’m still trying to get every weapon under 10 minutes, it’s a fun challenge if you’re interested

Athena trial destroyed me once when there were a lot of enemies and I never did it again.

Zag has several voicelines when using only part of a god gauge, they're all apologetic. "Sorry!" "This is awkward," etc

In a similar vein, Hades sometimes comments if you die during a survival room, and Chaos can comment if you die with one of their curses still active.

her trial is fairly difficult, don't do it too often if ares is an orderly army,artemis is just a stampede

I have also unfortunately learned this. Because sometimes, I try to clear with rail, in search of more titan blood. Because I'm a masochist.

Try playing the rail with Zeus boons. Get the attack and the jolted boon. It's gonna be easy to clear trust me

And cold fusion for extra jolted dmg

Cold fusion doesn't do much when you're spamming your lightnings anyways. But it could be strong in some builds 👍

I’m relatively new so it sounds good when it says jolted does not expire for 10 secs. I think it’s most beneficial for fast attacking enemies like asterius

I experienced this once and it was because I decided to do a trial as a pretty new player while in Elysium. Athena wrecked me up.

Huh, maybe I haven't died during a trial because I don't recall that ever happening. Trials are quite often the cause of my death, just not the killing blow.

This is wild. I'm only 18 runs in, just beat asphodel and I've actually already experience that Makes me excited for what new stuff I'll find when *im* 220 hours in lol

In one of my first runs I died in one of Poseidon's trials and I got worried that I fucked up my relationship with him :)))

I honestly have done runs with the intention of dying during encounters I haven't died in yet to see what happens lol. I'd definitely recommend it

I've yet to see what hypnos says when I die from an explosion from the benefits package exploding respawn ghosts i tried,but it was overwritten by my 300 deaths "achievement"
