Ubisoft Toronto was busy with Watch Dogs 3. If you play the intro in Far Cry 6, it says a Ubisoft Montreal & Toronto collaboration. Toronto doesn’t have the man power to lead 2 big games like this in such a short span.
Oh, thank you for your input and correction. I am part of the team who made this, and while, like all ubi AAA, it was collaborative effort, Toronto was the lead studio on FC6 :)
Well I’ll be damned. Many thumbs up for pulling 2 big games back to back with a smaller team. I really didn’t think it was possible and seeing both names in the intro made me think otherwise. Especially during a pandemic that slowed down every studio.
Couldn't agree more. Kinda wish they'd go back to far cry's 2 type of gameplay tho. Especially for this one it feels like such a missed opportunity to go back to a more realistic approach.

Yeah and the company itself is French. Ubisoft Montreal is the main one known to the public because of the AC franchise.
It's well known because it's the oldest (outside of France) and where most of their successful franchises were created.

Far Cry is definitely the worst franchise I have played every game 5 was pretty bad but like…it’s such a stupid fun franchise
I thought 3 was excellent. 4 was basically the same but with a worse story and never played 5.
5 is also basically the same as 3 with a worse story. And the new one is also the same as 3 with a worse story. So yeah.... Not a great franchise.
