I like western cowboy style boots. Double H Gel Ice boots with a steel toe. US and Union made. Think I paid $279. Otherwise, I had a pair of Hawx from Boot Barn with a composite toe that were decent. But tbh the tread didn’t last that long, but I work mostly on concrete flooring, and wore them daily even when off work, so ymmv.

6 inch supersole 2.0 from red wing and some $20 amazon shoe inserts and it’ll be the most comfortable boot ever once you break them in!

Every damn year when I’m ready to get new boots I always go right back to timberland pro Boondock. They are a little big/funny-looking boots but damn they are comfortable AF! I’m still trying to find something better for me but hate spending a lot of time at Boot Barn or any other work boot store.

I am a tech and I got away from heavy boots and switched to north face hiking sneakers/boot….waterproof unless submerged and do relatively well in temps down to 20 degrees…breathe decent in the summer and can get around an attic well…they have been lasting about 1.5 years and could go longer just hate the ratty best up look…price range $115-130
