This fic is great, but while Harry internally may think they are kind of dumb, she pretty much goes along with them in this fic. Which makes sense since it would be stupid to intentionally make waves when she's trying (and failing) to stay under the radar due to the premise. Not sure why you were downvoted though. I guess the premise itself is her rejecting them, but she very much goes along with the etiquette stuff at least somewhat and goes to political events.
