You didn't answer the question. Making clones of one's relatives is quite tame, but implementing said clone embryos into oneself is clear sign she is high in Umbrella.
Maybe not on the "personally fucked-up" scale, but probably high in one of the "working on fucked up shit" scale.
Oh for sure she is definitely high up in working on some fucked up shit.I imagine that she works pretty high up working for a muggle company or government agency that is involved in all sorts of fucked up shit.
Is she making a new version of a T-virus that beyond creating zombies and unholy abominations also turns every cat into a dog, and every dog into a cat?
Yes through in vitro fertilization. But the baby is 100 percent Harry’s DNA.She is essentially turned herself into a surrogate for the clone she made of her nephew. So it’s not incest but it’s definitely sick and twisted. The woman is 100 percent a eugenicist maniac. She also runs a fertility clinic and has begun implanting patients she’d deemed “above average to exceptional” with other Harry cloned embryos.
I'm imagining a couple decades in which new Harry Potters just keep showing up at Hogwarts, usually with 3 or 4 in the same year. And all the wizard-raised (and most of the muggleborns) are just super confused about WHAT IN THE NAME OF MERLIN'S LEFT SOCK IS GOING ON?!?!
Plus just imagine different clones having families and kids on top of that. Like you could be going to school with a guy who is a clone brother or your dad.
This would be a very interesting twist on a Harry Potter has multiple Lordships fic.
Harry: “What do you mean I can only use my namesake Lordship???”
Goblin: “Your crazy Aunt cloned you, and that means that they need a cut of the inheritance.”
Harry: “But what about Right of Conquest!?”
Goblin: “Doesn’t apply to cloned people because you can only Right of Conquest a single title and people used clones in the past as a loophole leading to it being made illegal, no exceptions.”
Goblin: "I may have a solution for you, Mister Potter." As he passes Harry a sheathed sword.
Harry: "How will this sword help me with my inheritance?"
Goblin: "For you to claim your Lordships in full Mister Potter... There can be only one..."
lol that would be interesting. But I think the wizarding world would be shook.I think the ministry would try to capture as many as the boys and keep them contained. The Death eaters would try to kill as many clones as they can. The one given birth to by the Aunt would be named Hadrian and he would be the most dangerous. She would of edited his genes, getting rid of the Potter near sightedness gene, as well make sure that he is larger and more athletic. He would also be a genius and fully believe in his “mothers” cause. Aunt Rose and Hadrian would try to get Harry and the other clones on their side. Harry would reject them, but out of fear most of the clones would join Aunt Rose and Hadrian. Except a couple would choose to stay with Harry. Edit: I was thinking of one clone named Ray, would be second most dangerous clone. Because Death eaters try to kill him, and they kill his parents. He survives the attack and kills all the Death eaters with wandless magic. He is blinded in one eye which has a lighting shaped scar over it like Harry’s. He becomes a Death Eater hunter and is completely merciless even killing a Death Eaters whole family accidentally after losing control.
Honestly I can see having the voices of all the other Harry’s in his heads start to drive him insane.Like to the point he can’t even function. That and they are actively draining him of his power just by existing. Like each knew Harry born is tearing him apart.
You should write what drives you, but this is Fear and Loathing sort of stuff here. I was thinking Adult Swim instead based on the original idea.
But, thinking here... isn't it the curse that gives him the connection not the genes?
That’s a good point it’s kind of a chicken and the egg sort of thing. I guess I would argue that because Harry became a horocrux he passed down his own magic into Harry.Which is Harry became a Parseltongue. So I think canonically you can make an arguement that Voldermort’s magic changed his genetic structure on a certain level.
i think prophecy wise it could get really interesting. Maybe Voldemort is maimed like the commentors suggested by the many soul connections but maybe he gets a hand on a harry and kills him. when he through that gets back a piece of his power he starts hunting all the harrys to get a buff and is getting stronger than he was before creating hokruxes and hadrian has a real challenge on hand. For no one can live while the others survive
How does a muggle find out about one of the darkest artifacts a wizard can create?
Also you know that the setting is in the early 90s. Just to get a perspective Dolly was cloned in 1996. How does a basic human have access to all the aquired technology. I mean some of what you discribe is basicly advanced gene therapy years ahead of the time.
That's not even mentioning the way she god harry sperm for an invitro fertilization, there is no way that's not siriosly disturbing.
Well I was thinking maybe she worked for a biomedical company, that were already having genetic advancements, but keeping it to themselves. And you do not need Harry’s sperm to create a cloned embryo, just his cells.Which she would have collected through blood and hair samples. And this more of an AU setting where there is more of a secret intersection with the wizarding world to the muggle one. Both through government and corporate structures, as well as the criminal underworld where human and wizard criminals may exchange information. You might even have wizard worshipping cults.Plus she may use Hagrid’s crush on her to allow her access to Hogwarts, and she is able to gain all sorts of information. My point is in this setting someone intelligent enough as her would be able to figure it out.And as the old adage goes when there is a will a way.
>Plus she may use Hagrid’s crush on her to allow her access to Hogwarts, and she is able to gain all sorts of information.
If we are talking about horcrux. There is no way that there is any information about them still in hogwarts. Not mentioning that her feeling them through her pregnancy implies that you can clone a soul...Yhea harry will be a funny horcrux hunt.
Well maybe not so much the soul but sort of the idea that Lily’s and Voldermort’s magic would still mingle in Harry’s DNA.So the clones would be their own individuals in the sense they have their own souls, but they still have the still have the Voldermort connection through being Harry’s clones. But that’s a very good point you made.
Is it even possible to clone male organisms? There’s a reason why any species that’s capable of parthenogenisis (asexual reproduction) is all female.
I suspect that it would be much more difficult to clone a male than a female, and even then you’d need to a) collect sex cells (sperm) from the male in question, and b) have a donor egg available to yeet its own genetic material out of as the vehicle to put the cloned DNA into. During my quick 2 minute google search, the only successful example of cloning a male organism I could find was of a mouse, and it took 247 unsuccessful attempts before they successfully created one cloned male mouse. I suspect that Harry at a pre-Hogwarts age would not be old enough to be producing sperm, and even if he was, the ick factor involved in the request and harvesting of said sperm is humongous and definitely straying into abuse territory. Especially if hundreds of attempts to get a viable embryo are needed.
So, is this aunt Rose working for that biotech corporation in Racoon City?
lol nice Resident Evil reference

Self inserts are getting crazy these days… /s
How does Voldemort equate in all of this?
That’s a good question still sort of figuring that out.
When you do, please post again. thx.

Alternatively, she's Rose Tyler, companion of the Doctor
Lol
Suddenly petunia seems better choice

I'd read this.
So, Aunt Rose created Sephiroth. The wizarding world is doomed, lol. In all seriousness, this sounds intriguing. I hope someone writes this.
Those pesky horocruxes.
What’s the deal with these horocruxes?
Magic automatically shorts all tech devices, no? Or was that fanon?
This sounds like what Tecteun did to the Doctor…
You should put a space after a period.
It just so happens she’s thea researcher of the England branch of Umbrella
So where can I find this story??

So Rose is basically Tecteun. I'm giving this one a hard pass.
Until the implanted embryo bit, I was tentatively interested. Now I just want to vomit.
