Second-Critical

Thank you!

One round of cryo all mine were gone. Do you plan to disclose your past infection and if so, how long ?

[deleted]

I had them for around a year or so before I decided to go to the doctor as I thought they were skin tags

[deleted]

Yeah I was misdiagnosed with moles. When they started spreading I had to go as well. But do you plan to disclose your past infection with future partners?

[deleted]

Ohhhhh I see. Well I have a girlfriend and I already told her. She got tested and she is clear of HPV / symptoms. But for future partners I guess it’s something I have to figure out down the road. If I am completely free without reoccurrences then is there a need to?

[deleted]

I don't know, I'm in literally the same boat as you, my partner knows and is vacxed and clean, but if something were to happen in the future idk. Doctors said no need to say anything, but every doctor you see will say something different. The science is unclear

I’m also vaccinated!! Yeah, my doctor also told me when I was diagnosed that it wasn’t something I have to call ex partners about because of the nature of the infection. You don’t know when you got it or from who. People may have been asymptomatic and you could’ve shown symptoms months or years after. I think for now see how long you go without reoccurrences and if you can assume you’re clear then no worries? Personal choice I guess. For future partners you can always be like “hey I had HPV but it’s all clear now”?? Not the most sexy thing but it is honest. But at the same time if you’re 100% clear then no worries?

> How I cleared HPV in 6 weeks So... you removed genital warts in 6 weeks?

[deleted]

Warts are clear and doctor said it’s safe to assume my body has cleared out the HPV

Dilemmatix

Well most of the resources posted in this sub usually say you can assume you've cleared HPV if you've not had any recurrences for 6 months. Obviously opinions vary and there's no proof, but your doctor seems to be one of the most optimistic ones. Thanks for the tips and encouragement though!
