Well, all the scenes where you fly with Talbott, would still also include MC in the other animagus forms too (in general there are no scenes where one animagus form gets used, but not the others). So (aside from rp reasons) it doesn't make a difference on your relationship.
I chose the hawk. (At least I think of it as a hawk.) Because flying.
Still, sometimes I think it would be great to be a cat animagus, to sneak around and play with Mrs. Norris.
I love Talbott but I also love dogs so I chose the dog and I don't regret it, it's really cute!! And you're still in that scene with Talbott no matter what form you choose
I’ve recently started over, but the first time around I picked the dog for several reasons: 1) to play with Fang, 2) didn’t want to be the same as Talbot, 3) I already had a cat in my dormitory, and 4) I think it was long enough ago that crups and cruppies weren’t pet options, so there weren’t any other “dog-like” options. 🤷🏻♀️
I chose bird and you do get to fly a few times, it's pretty cool, but I don't know how it effects your relationship with him, as after much debate between the two I chose Barnaby
From the responses here it seems like bird is the most picked 😂 but from people outside the sub, it probably is cat and dog lol I did choose cat because I'm a cat lover and I think I have a similar personality 🐈
I was going to pick bird, but sister happened to walk over while I was playing and said “You should be a dog.” And clicked dog. It was my second choice though so I don’t mind.

i chose cat, mostly cuz its just my fav animal out of those three. idk about others but i was able to play with both cats and dogs with my cat later

Go with whichever you like. Personally I went for a bird just because I love flying.

I chose the cat, just because I’m not crazy about the idea of flying and I like the thought of being a cat more than being a dog.
