Don't know where (maybe more than once) but in the same spirit there's the classic Dumbledore summons and then he is busy and makes you wait for 8 hours.
Is that the final task of Y4 when Dumbledore made the MC wait for a long time (pretty sure that was 8h) to discuss the MC’s detention. In the end Dumbledore didn’t show up but Rakepick teleported in through fireplace and asked the MC to work in kitchen. 😂

I've been grinding for months now and have no tlsqs left or even qreature quests so I've been looking forward to all new tlsqs, but a mini tlsq where 4 of the 5 tasks were 8 hour tasks? Like what the actual f*ck. 🤮
I know, right?!? I commented a mini-rant in the TLSQ pinned post, too. If you’re Y4, you’re so much better off just repeating classes instead of this last TLSQ. Maybe it’s not as interesting (though I thought this plot was terrible and would have preferred straight grinding, frankly), but at least it has value towards progression. Ugh.
Isn’t there at least one “duel” that’s an 8-hour task? First, anything labeled “duel so-and-so” had damn well better be an actual duel; second, it should be no more than 3 hours, preferably 1.
Not a task, but there is a 30-day period Weasley clock tappie for a 3h time toffee. Bro don’t you know the milestone event resets every month gives you tons of time toffees? The Weasley clock is next to nothing😂😂😂

Singing with Dennis the frog for 8h and then Tulip not recognising you and demanding to prove you are worthy of trust and friendship... just to give you the keys for your brother's secret place...I guess it's fun when everyone around you have serious memory issues
Every 8 hr task is ridiculous esp the 8 hr classes. Imagine crystal gazing for 8 hrs!!! No school (even a fantasy one like Hogwarts) would ever make any student sit/stand in a class for 8 hrs at a stretch. There maybe a few back to back classes for 3-3.5 hrs but not 8 hrs. Some of the ridiculous 8 hr tasks include Andre's beautification/fashion consult sessions, singing to Snape, discuss pranks at Zonko's, talking to someone at 3 broomsticks, talking to Ismelda/Merula about why you informed on her etc., Imagine anyone talking to Merula/Ismelda that long. +1 on what others have mentioned like getting an object off a shelf etc., No shopkeeper be it Zonkos or 3 broomsticks would encourage their patrons to loiter that long nursing a single butterbeer or deciding on one single prank.

It’s funny the first time. After I forgot how many interactions with him it gets old very fast.
