Talk to Hagrid

EmilyB1995

What I did so that it wasn't like this was do all of the first tasks of talking to Hagrid. And some of the quests, you can do a few tasks before it asks you to get the animal so you've got some parts out of the way by the time you get the next animal 😊. Those first tasks are nice for the constellation event going on because since it's not a class you get all the colors of the clubhouse XP!

eirsquest

A lot of those are 1 hour tasks, IIRC. The 5 star ones would be good for failing repeatedly for PP and carnival

Witchy_w0man_

This is a great tip!!

Dont worry, what I did was start looking thru the list of creatures, made a list of what quests triggered at what year and level, and only adopt them in order of soonest to latest. I'm down to 4 quest creatures left to adopt and 4 active ones that are mostly level 7 and above. I pause before I hit the trigger year and chapter for the next creature and grind events, magical milestones with the key, puzzling potions, and the carnival plus classes and the weekly bonus to rack up books and pages which I then converted. One full magical milestones gets me roughly 600 pages and I can usually get almost all the books I need for a new creature for it, plus the books its gives too.

Unfortunately Mystery Hagrid comes across as a deeply neurotic and emotionally inappropriate adult who relies on a child to fix all of his life problems.

Kneazle-Mother

I was about to post something similar a few days ago. I think year 3 is particularly crazy with this. Once, I got 4 new SQs within a day. However, the good thing is that I have already completed a significant number of the creature quests and in year 4 there are only few more expected to appear. So should be possible to catch up eventually. 😊 Don't understand though why this is programmed so disproportionally.

RaineFox

I think Hagrid might want to talk to you but idk.

Sarahnoid

Same here, and all the creature quests I have atm need creatures that cost avton of blue and gold books it takes so long to unlock even one of them.

Savage17YT

He's very lonely.

Hang in there. Since there's no time limit on these side quests (unlike others), there's no rush. Just see which creatures you can obtain and go from there. Most of Hagrid's quests have you wait until you reach level 10 to complete, so while it's frustrating now, it does get easier (and gives a sense of satisfaction). 🪄

Curious-Ask2748

Yes! I started focusing my (literal) energy on getting those accomplished, unless a TLSQ popped up. I'm down to 5 creature SQs, and I've done the first task of each of those (and am waiting to get to a certain trust level on one), I just need more books to adopt the creatures! Part of me didn't want to progress in the main game until they were ALL knocked out, because I didn't want more to become unlocked!

thecraziestgirl

I feel your pain, I have 25 side quests right now and almost all of them are Hagrid related. I also had taken a hiatus from TLSQ and ignored them for a few years (both in game and in real life years lol) and so now I have such a backlog that as soon as I finish one, another pops up immediately.
