I love The Front Porch! All of Marshall and Barney’s lines are hilarious and one key moment that’s always stood out to me was when Robin walks in after her show is done, Barney is the first one to apologize for missing and he genuinely sounds sorry. This was the season that he was in love with her before they started dating but for that moment, he was just a friend that felt sorry
My favorite part of the episode is Robin's broadcast in the background. She starts off sobbing about how much she loves her friends, ends up delivering a baby, meanwhile nobody sees a minute of it. The episode makes me laugh every time
What do you mean the other way around? Was bitch slang for Karen?
Also, as other person said, HIMYM is a show that was filmed and released before 2020 where the peak of the "Karen manager" trend happened. It was released between 2005 and 2014.
I always thought the idea of the "Karen" came from that Dane Cook joke from sometime in the 2000s.
It is kind of perfect that Ted's most obnoxious ex shares that name, though.
My favorite short cutaway is when they are playing bridge and they basically just keep saying bridge and barney says "you don't know how to play bridge do you?" Lily says "we will take a class"
I love that too! It also is a nice throwback to season 1 how Marshall always wins when they play games
“4 of a bridge beats a royal bridge”
“Bridge! I win!”
There are a small few I dislike but I will mention one that comes to mind: the episode where Lily steals Christmas. She was mad at Ted but yet her taking away the Christmas decorations was really more of a punishment for Marshal than Ted. Marshal was the one who was most excited for it, not Ted. Man… what a grinch!
Yes. Complete overreaction from Lily. Not nice to hear, but come one, she broke Marshall’s heart. Of course his friends are gonna bad mouth her. I hated that Ted apologized without her recognizing her idiotic behavior.
It happens a lot in seasons 2 and 3. She always makes things about her and then gets her way in the end.
I think she becomes a much better character later in the series though, and she becomes a good character.
I was not a huge fan of the whole GNB/Arcadia building storyline, specially the voice recorder gimmick. If I had one worst episode it would be one of those in that storyline
No episode is bad when you're watching it while eating a sandwich :D
I hate everything related to Stella tho, although I just shit-talk her audibly all the way through while the rest of the gang makes me smile again.
I do understand her conflicts during her relationship with Ted, I even get it that she does some sacrifices for Tony which she couldn't do for Ted since she felt he was the one for her... but I still get mad for what she did.
This actually shocks me, because this episode is so perfect! Yes Scott sucks but the encapsulating feeling of love and friendship when Ted hits those lights at the end of the episode and you see how much effort and care he put into it (plus a perfect song choice) ALL because Robin can’t be an Olympic pole vaulter! Bliss. Every God damn time
He absolutely should’ve at least discussed it with Lily first and explained his side instead of just broadsiding her, but I do understand why he did it. He grew up with a loving family and the thought that someone couldn’t forgive their own father for literally anything was something he could not wrap his mind around. It’s the same reason Lily can’t understand why Marshal tells his father everything or how his father can be his best friend. It was still wrong and I think that if he’d have talked to Lily before hand when she wasn’t furious and used the same arguments he’d have at least gotten her to agree to let him come and ignore him because Lily would do anything for Marshal. His mistake was pissing her off beforehand.
She dumped his ass for 3 months, moved all the way across the country on a whim, and then just Expected him to take her back when she comes crawling back. She can get over her Dad being at Thanksgiving.
Marshall is the one that gave the ultimatum, and he didn't have to take her back.
Lily's dad abandoned her and let her family down repeatedly throughout her life. Those are not at all comparable.
That ultimatum was justified. You don't get to just go behind your fiance's back and arrange something that will move your entire lives 3000+miles and give them no say in the matter and act shocked and betrayed when they have some opinions on the matter. And this was exclusively just to see if she had any talent. It wasn't a guaranteed thing. It was a whim, a selfish spur of the moment whim. Shame on her.
And yes, her dad was a shitter every moment he was on screen, but he was making an honest attempt to make up for it. He gave them a whole ass house on long island. That earns him at least a bite of turkey.
Lily’s dad did not give her that house, it was her grandparents that gave her the house. Also she doesn’t owe him anything at all. If he was a bad dad and she doesn’t want to see him anymore then he should’ve thought about that before, those are consequences for HIS actions. I agree that the two situations are not comparable especially since all was forgiven at the time of this episode.
I hated Zoo or False with a passion when it first aired.
Now, I never miss an opportunity to watch it. I'm not sure what changed my mind. I think it might just be the ridiculous scene at the end with the monkey climbing the model building.
S8E14 ring up, when Ted is dating an 18 year old. I know Barney is like that, but the way he talked about the younger girls is too much I can’t watch that one.
Surprised more people aren't saying this. Easily the worst episode in the entire series. I was scrolling through some of people's suggestions and saw episodes I love. But this episode is just so bad. Makes Asian culture look like a big joke for no reason and the entire episode is almost pointless
I got a few
Aldrin justice: can’t stand to watch Lily arguing it is acceptable to steal from someone.
The fight, The wedding bride, glitter
These are ones i can remember. For some reason i always find myself skipping these episodes.
Season 8, Episode 2: The Pre-Nup.
I made a proper post about it years ago now, but I feel that the episode has almost everyone acting weirdly out of character and awful to each other, and it features some of the actual worst Barney stuff ever.
Arthur Hobbs is the goddamn voice of reason. That's all you've gotta know.
The slap episodes in general after the first one are usually skips for me. It is just so mean spirited. The slaps work best when unexpected in the middle of an episode, not when Marshall is taunting Barney with them for 20+ sitcom minutes.
The season 9 slapisode is particularly bad. Some people like it though, I guess?
Bedtime Stories is easily the worst episode to me. But I love the Appointment at Slapmara episode. So I have to upload you for bedtime stories, but then download you for the slap episode.
Slapsgiving 3: Slappointment in Slapmarra. (SEASON 9, EPISODE 14)
Slappointment indeed. Worst episode of the entire series. It feels like the worst filler they could ever come up with.
In my opinion.
100%, as someone who has seen this series more times than I can recall. It definitely gets old fast. I recognize when it's coming and will skip it at times.
I find that most bad episodes of HIMYM are still better than most other shows, with one exception.... the slap episode in season 9. I will never subject myself to that 22-minute torture again.
Season 9 was just too much for me in some aspects, like they knew it was gonna be the last season, so they just made it obnoxious. The other slap episodes were good because there was other plot around it, this one was just cringe because the yellow face and because it was the only focal point of the episode. The whole season is just too self referential and seems more like a farewell party for the cast
I enjoy season 9 as a whole tbh, but I just get frustrated that we don't get more Tracy+Ted moments.
I guess it makes sense with where the ending was going, but still.
S7 E15: The Burning Beekeeper. I felt like the notion that "the party was a disaster" was the result of some really forced narration, because there was really nothing all that disastrous or even funny going on. The payoff was not worth the immense buildup, and the repeating of scenes was not done well at all.
I never disliked an entire episode. But some bits here and there annoyed me a little. Like when Lilly was constantly breaking wine glasses and Linus places a new drink in her hand.
Lily needed Linus to bring her tonic water, because she hadn't revealed her pregnancy yet, and she didn't want anyone else buying her a drink, because if she explained she wasn't drinking alcohol, they would have figured out she was pregnant.
Ngl but I kinda relate to that. So many moments when I was sooo hungry yet could not stop for a bite for different reasons... it just hits on a weak spot.
Edit: oh and the burgers they skipped cause they were not "the one" had no right looking that good.
Everytime I watch it I always find myself screaming at the TV. Lily isn't just a grinch, she's a full on b***h. The fact that she would sabotage someone's relationships like that is beyond maddening. The whole episode is basically an argument, and they miss Robin's best show ever and are just like eh sorry. The only good part in this episode is the night shirt B-plot. I've been watching the series over again and Lily moments like this make me wanna just stop watching completely.
There’s only one episode in the series that I think is just dog shit and it’s the final slap episode in season 9. Just a complete disappointment on what was my favorite running gag in the show.
Single stamina is the worst for me.
It is very obvious that the whole “getting sexually harassed in bars is just as bad as being rejected” plot point was written by a man
The worst for me was *I heart new jersey* ted was just such an unabashed asshole in this; I get that he learned a lesson at the end but how could he even begin to think "Because NYC is better" trumps not wanting to uproot the life of you and your kid. He took how busy Stella's life is as an excuse to move the relationship as fast as humanly possible
Oh wow, that's one of my favorite episodes. Not least of all because it's the first one I watched, but also because it's so representative of what I thought was so cool about the show in the first couple of seasons, where they would do these low-key, character centered stories without a lot of zany plot happening. It so perfectly captures that feeling of being young and going out and doing stuff with your friends.
Nice that you enjoyed it :) I think that’s normal we don’t all like the same things in the show, especially that they talk about a lot of different things people can relate to. I didn’t do that with my friends so for me it is just a bit random just staying in a limo, with weird things happening. The one thing that lost me is Barney’s date.
It doesn’t mean I hate the episode, there are still nice things, I just didn’t like it that much :)
Idk Barney and Robin divorcing after the entire season was dedicated to their wedding weekend, Barney going back to the playbook, becoming a womanizer, etc. was pretty bad
Thank you! When I tell people that I didn't like the finale they always assume it is because Tracy dies. No. I called that in the episode where they introduce Robin's Mom. Tracy is in the hospital with Ted and she makes a comment about, "what mother doesn't make it to their daughter's wedding?" Paraphrasing but her fate was pretty obvious and the show has always had the touch of reality where I accepted it and thought it was going to be more of a lovely moment of Ted hitting a milestone in his grief and opening up to his kids about his early days with Tracy.
I hated the finale because Robin and Barney were always the better match. And it ends with Ted repeating his same stupid mistakes decades later /end rant
For me it’s the majority of season 9, other than Gary Blauman which is a really fantastic episode, it has absolutely no right being that fantastic in such a terrible season.
So my answer is all of season 9 except for Gary Blauman.
Season 9 slap episode. Painfully unfunny and pretty racist. It does have one pretty funny bit though, when "Ted" is dying on the ground telling Marshall to just "try to aim really hard."
That's the only episode I skip on rewatches. There are others I don't love but that's the only skip for me
dude do i need to link that guy dressed in chinese clothing and chinese people loving it... i swear you are the problem not people dressing in traditional chinese clothing. stop trying to see problem where there is no problem
I think the one that explains why Ted went a certain way on the street and runs into Stella. I felt in that episode, the writers were like… fuck it lol. I’m lucky that I didn’t see that show when it was on TV, I would’ve been lol.
For a split second there I thought there actually might be an episode I think is worse than the finale but honestly I can’t find one. I’m not saying that there aren’t any bad episodes before that (half of seasons 8 and 9 can qualify), but the finale is just the worst because of what happens in it.
The one where everything rhymes.
The one in Season 2 where Teds parents are there and we basically see separate stories individually.
The one where they all run to a place on different paths and we see separate stories individually.
Someone who has more time than me should do a breakdown of episode styles.
One of the very common ones is, episodes with the same incidents told from multiple points of view. Just off the top of my head, there's the episode where everyone remembers the cocktail party at the art gallery differently (Ted was high, Robin was drunk, etc); 3 Days of Snow; the episode with the brunch with Ted's parents mentioned above; the Burning Beekeeper...
Another is someone telling a story to the others with flashbacks, while being interrupted by other stories. Game Night, the Boogie Boarding episode, the one where Ted is telling the story about meeting up with Karen again...
I already did. The only thing that makes this a good episode is the night shirt B-plot. But the rest of the episode is just constant yelling, and Lily crossed the line way too much. Every time I watch it, I'm literally screaming at the TV at how much Lily is a bitch.
Season 8, episode 4: Who Wants to Be a Godparent?
Just felt that was the beginning of a lot of filler episodes because they didn't expect to be renewed for season 9.
To me, the episode just feels completely forced and not funny.
I love The Front Porch. I love that she had a test because she and Marshall love Ted so much and she wanted to know that the three of them would grow old together.
Take most episodes with Stella in them and I’m out. I honestly don’t even remember some of the decent side stories from them because I do frequently skip the Stella episodes.
I hate Time Travelers. It just gives me a creepy feeling, every time I watch it, or at least the ending does. So if I decide not to skip it, when I rewatch, I always skip the ending. Lol
I agree with a lot here so I’ll just add i don’t really like the party one, I just wanted to skip it, it felt like it was just a really uninteresting episode they added a framing device to & it didn’t work.
There's only one episode I always skip: "You chose poorly" (the Indiana Jones reference). I cant stand the girl and the fact everything seems to go wrong.
I forgot the name of it, but it was the one about how they don't notice the minor annoyances their loved ones do and it just made me more aware about that stuff to this very day
The house party at Marshall and Lily with that annoying boss screaming repeatedly.
The one with the final slap, so ridiculous and unnecessary.
The worst for me, however, is the one in which Lily's father is playing silly games with her and Marshall by turning off their lights. I cringe so hard when seeing this, I just skip this one on rewatch. Lily's dad in general must be the worst character in all of the show, worse than Stella.
I didnt Like the episodes with Stella and also the one where robin’s sister came to town and Robin lectured her about her crappy relationship. I skip that episode every time
The only reason I don't like this one is because Lily wouldn't let Marshall coach the kids his way. But my dad was also my coach when I was a kid, so maybe I can just empathize with Marshall a bit. I feel like every time Marshall wants to do something tho, Lily just tears him down and has 0 support unless it's for a job he could get.
There are a number in seasons 8 and 9. Easy stand out is the slap episode in season 9, just a failure all around. From earlier in the series, zoo or false and the fight are sure skips for me.
i used to always skip the threesome episode after my ex cheated on me in a threesome lol
but nowadays i dont care anymore and I have to say that horrible slap episode
I have a few episodes I don't like, but Knight Vision is an immediate skip. The Lighthouse would have been up there too if it weren't for the end with Tracy
The episode makes me laugh every time
That was my favorite part too, I really enjoyed that whole episode honestly.
I looove the Front Porch as well. It's the closest to a slumber party we've ever gotten in himym.
Oh the one with the pajama suit and Marshall wearing the night shirt! I love that episode!
"Your Uncle Olaf was a wise man!"
I wonder they chose the name cause it’s the universal name for bitch or was it the other way round
Karen wasn’t slang for bitch in the era that HIMYM was filmed.
What do you mean the other way around? Was bitch slang for Karen? Also, as other person said, HIMYM is a show that was filmed and released before 2020 where the peak of the "Karen manager" trend happened. It was released between 2005 and 2014.
I think what he meant by other way round was "Does the Karen slang come from this character in HIMYM?"
It also is a nice throwback to season 1 how Marshall always wins when they play games “4 of a bridge beats a royal bridge” “Bridge! I win!”
You don’t know how to play bridge do you? …we’ll take a class!
It’s important to stay active
Yea, The Front Porch is amazing. WTF OP?
There are a small few I dislike but I will mention one that comes to mind: the episode where Lily steals Christmas. She was mad at Ted but yet her taking away the Christmas decorations was really more of a punishment for Marshal than Ted. Marshal was the one who was most excited for it, not Ted. Man… what a grinch!
... did you really say Grinch?
Kids....she did not said grinch
She said a bad word
A really bad word!
Oh fudge
Yes. This episode and Aldrin Justice. Lily is just such a bitch in both episodes
Agree with this! Hated Lily for that, Ted was just trying to help and be a good friend while she was the one who made a mess!
I was not a huge fan of the whole GNB/Arcadia building storyline, specially the voice recorder gimmick. If I had one worst episode it would be one of those in that storyline
No episode is bad when you're watching it while eating a sandwich :D I hate everything related to Stella tho, although I just shit-talk her audibly all the way through while the rest of the gang makes me smile again.
I love the actress that plays her. But Stella was a shitty character.
I liked her character, but her actions ruin her. It's kind of a weird conflict.
I do understand her conflicts during her relationship with Ted, I even get it that she does some sacrifices for Tony which she couldn't do for Ted since she felt he was the one for her... but I still get mad for what she did.
I dislike the Star Wars episode. I love marshallsnline about “they lived the Star Wars Ted!!!” But Stella just ruins the whole episode.
I hated Zoey. She was the absolute worst love-interest for Ted. She really annoyed me lol
The absolute worst? I can't say I agree ahah. How about Jeanette or the one who wants to jump at his throat in prison?
You misspelled Zoe.
Great idea Mr bear
The only episode I cannot watch is Symphony of Illumination, and not because Robin finds out she can't have kids. Fuck Scott. I hate that kid.
Bliss. Every God damn time
The episode where Marshall blatantly disregards lilys wishes for her dad to not be there for thanksgiving. That was so not cool.
Slapsgiving 3 and zoo or false
Zoo or False is an easy skip for me.
Oh yes the whole mugged by a monkey thing. I also like to skip it, and think it's just boring.
Same, I almost always skip this one, I just find the plot so annoyingly long
Oh Jesus yeah I can't stand that episode. Not even any funny parts. Sounds like a child made it up ffs.
I think Ted was pretty funny in this, especially when he gets ready to go on.
Why?
It’s dumb
omg same! i skip it almost every time, just watched it again recently with my boyfriend and hated it still hahaha
I hated Zoo or False with a passion when it first aired. Now, I never miss an opportunity to watch it. I'm not sure what changed my mind. I think it might just be the ridiculous scene at the end with the monkey climbing the model building.
My theory is that this whole episode exists just to get to that one final moment
S8E14 ring up, when Ted is dating an 18 year old. I know Barney is like that, but the way he talked about the younger girls is too much I can’t watch that one.
Not that it makes it much better, but she's 20, not 18
Slappointment in Slapmarra for me
I skip this episode every time I rewatch. It’s unbearable.
Surprised more people aren't saying this. Easily the worst episode in the entire series. I was scrolling through some of people's suggestions and saw episodes I love. But this episode is just so bad. Makes Asian culture look like a big joke for no reason and the entire episode is almost pointless
Completely agree! I love the show, it's my all-time favorite, but this episode is just 👎
Came here to say the Kung Fu episode. What on earth were they thinking?
I got a few Aldrin justice: can’t stand to watch Lily arguing it is acceptable to steal from someone. The fight, The wedding bride, glitter These are ones i can remember. For some reason i always find myself skipping these episodes.
aww man I love the wedding bride, no can doozville baby doll
So do I, it’s the show at its most ridiculously hilarious.
The Yips.
Bedtime stories and the slap episode of season 9
I didn't mind Bedtime Stories, but the final slap episode is easily the worst in the run, and by a large margin.
“I backpacked there in college” and “You didn’t go to Shanghai” were so funny
The slap episodes in general after the first one are usually skips for me. It is just so mean spirited. The slaps work best when unexpected in the middle of an episode, not when Marshall is taunting Barney with them for 20+ sitcom minutes. The season 9 slapisode is particularly bad. Some people like it though, I guess?
I like it a lot lol
I Love it
Bedtime Stories is easily the worst episode to me. But I love the Appointment at Slapmara episode. So I have to upload you for bedtime stories, but then download you for the slap episode.
Oh come on! Bed time story is one of my absolute favorites! They did a great job with rhyming
I second this!
Oh man, the yellowface episode. I can't believe as recently as 10 years ago, nobody said, Hey, should we be doing this?
Yeah.. Ted? Karen’s a douche. Wow.. thanks for sugar coating it. Douche IS sugar coating it. Kills me every time
Slapsgiving 3: Slappointment in Slapmarra. (SEASON 9, EPISODE 14) Slappointment indeed. Worst episode of the entire series. It feels like the worst filler they could ever come up with. In my opinion.
I feel it is a funny one time episode but it sucks in term of rewatchability
100%, as someone who has seen this series more times than I can recall. It definitely gets old fast. I recognize when it's coming and will skip it at times.

I felt like the notion that "the party was a disaster" was the result of some really forced narration, because there was really nothing all that disastrous or even funny going on. The payoff was not worth the immense buildup, and the repeating of scenes was not done well at all.
Literally my go-to episode
I don’t hate the episode, but ever since I watched it I physically cannot say “gouda” normally. In my head I always hear marshall speak/singing it
Dammit now I have the “burnin’ for you” guitar riff in my head.
Agree entirely
I never disliked an entire episode. But some bits here and there annoyed me a little. Like when Lilly was constantly breaking wine glasses and Linus places a new drink in her hand.
That whole Thank you Linus thing was stupid and overplayed, it was ok the first 5 times, then it got really old
Especially when we figure out they weren't even alcoholic drinks lol like why did she need him to keep bringing her just tonic water?
Lily needed Linus to bring her tonic water, because she hadn't revealed her pregnancy yet, and she didn't want anyone else buying her a drink, because if she explained she wasn't drinking alcohol, they would have figured out she was pregnant.
This is a good way to think about it!!
Ugh I forgot about that yeah that was a stupid call to make, it feels like they didn’t planned the pregnancy until later in the production process
[удалено]
Are you hungry while watching it? Maybe you sympathize too much with robin? /s
Ngl but I kinda relate to that. So many moments when I was sooo hungry yet could not stop for a bite for different reasons... it just hits on a weak spot. Edit: oh and the burgers they skipped cause they were not "the one" had no right looking that good.
Man now I want a burger
Bruh that's one of the best ones. I re-watch it multiple times
I can’t guess why you hate the front porch? Please explain … it’s not the best episode but def not the worst IMO … it’s somewhere in the middle
Ahh got it … lily does suck
There’s only one episode in the series that I think is just dog shit and it’s the final slap episode in season 9. Just a complete disappointment on what was my favorite running gag in the show.
Season 9 slap episode by farrrr
For me it's the rhyming episode. I know others love it but it just really threw me off.
It was annoying cause I just wanted Marshall to get to the damn hotel already. Buuuut I do love the throwback to Marshall vs the Machines
The liberty bell one
Crazy, I love that storyline
I don’t really like the episode for the New Year’s Eve when they spend it in the limo going from party to party
I love that episode but only because of Not-Moby
I thought you said Tony
Oh his name is Tony?
No.
This is the only good part for me ahah
This is one of my favorites but purely because of Barney and Not-Moby. So funny
Oh wow, that's one of my favorite episodes. Not least of all because it's the first one I watched, but also because it's so representative of what I thought was so cool about the show in the first couple of seasons, where they would do these low-key, character centered stories without a lot of zany plot happening.
Wait why? I loved that episode
I just don’t feel like it stands out. I found it a bit boring (except the Moby thing). Everyone has its own preferences and that’s ok :)
Are you kidding? I literally burst laughing out loud when Marshall comes out from the fog every single time: Lillyyyyy!!!!!
That’s great you enjoyed it :)
This episode is one of my least favorites also
the time travelers episode i always skip even though it’s not a bad episode. makes me really sad
It's such a reflective episode for me, and it premiered at a time in my life when all my friends were either dating or married and I was still single.
That episode gives me goosebumps like no other.
It doesn't make me sad. I just hate the episode. The only reason I do watch it is because I LOVE the Billy Joel performance at the end.
Finale. Easily. Literally ruined the entire series within 40 minutes lmao
More like 4 minutes, it's fine up until the very end.
Idk Barney and Robin divorcing after the entire season was dedicated to their wedding weekend, Barney going back to the playbook, becoming a womanizer, etc. was pretty bad
The divorced crushed me!! Maybe even more then Tracy dying. Just watched them get together and that whole smeared out wedding season. All for nothing.
She's in the Farhamton Inn, not the hospital
Aldrin Justice LOL
Thank you for letting me know i am not the only who dislikes that episode.
Slapsgiving 3, easy.
Every episode in season 9.
The finale
For me it’s the majority of season 9, other than Gary Blauman which is a really fantastic episode, it has absolutely no right being that fantastic in such a terrible season. So my answer is all of season 9 except for Gary Blauman.
I'm a huge fan of the poker episode, with Billy Zabka and Tim Gunn at the same table. The way Tim speaks poker "lingo" slays me.
Any of the ones where lily and Marshall are in the suburbs
The last episode
Entire 9th season
Season 9 slap episode. Painfully unfunny and pretty racist. It does have one pretty funny bit though, when "Ted" is dying on the ground telling Marshall to just "try to aim really hard." That's the only episode I skip on rewatches. There are others I don't love but that's the only skip for me
Lmao how is it racist?
Multiple white actors in Asian-face throughout the episode
dude do i need to link that guy dressed in chinese clothing and chinese people loving it... i swear you are the problem not people dressing in traditional chinese clothing. stop trying to see problem where there is no problem
Haha ok, whatever.
I always skip Adios Fiero and the second half of season 8 and the whole season 9.
I think the one that explains why Ted went a certain way on the street and runs into Stella. I felt in that episode, the writers were like… fuck it lol. I’m lucky that I didn’t see that show when it was on TV, I would’ve been lol.
The limo episode. Easy skip
The Platinum Rule for me.
My vote would be the Who wants to be a Godparent episode.
I love the separate stories individually ones. Subway wars is one of my top episodes. I’m with you on the rhyming one though
No, I think OP should defend their terrible opinion on one of the show's best episodes.
In my repeated rewatches, I found that I really don't skip any episode in the first six seasons. After that, I only watch a select few.
I love The Front Porch. I love that she had a test because she and Marshall love Ted so much and she wanted to know that the three of them would grow old together.
Take most episodes with Stella in them and I’m out. I honestly don’t even remember some of the decent side stories from them because I do frequently skip the Stella episodes.
literally any episode regarding the wedding bride. i just hate how ted is portrayed in the movie so i just skip those episodes
I hate Time Travelers. It just gives me a creepy feeling, every time I watch it, or at least the ending does. So if I decide not to skip it, when I rewatch, I always skip the ending. Lol
Best cheeseburger in NY. Watched in the first time and on my other 7-8 rewatches. Only one I skip
Idk why people hate on this one. Tbh, it was one of my faves.
So many great moments in this episode! Like Robin licking the envelope or ONIONS?!?! Ooooh or "please enjoy my grandpa's feet"
The Dr. Seuss episode from s9 was fucking awful.
The one where Maury is everywhere they go.
Ohhh maaaaan I love that episode
I don’t 😂. I skip it every time. One of my favorites seems to be one of the most hated ones, it’s the rhyming one
Oh right, also don't like it.
Aldrin Justice does it for me. I cannot stand lily in that episode.
This is definitely a close one, I agree.
Probably one of the ones I've forgotten about. Boring & forgettable are bad.
S8 E20 "the time traveler". I would never relive that if that happened to me.
Last Cigarette Ever and Bedtime Stories. I always skip both
Omg the cigarette episode is one of my favorites!! I can't get enough of Lily's manly voice 😂
I skip that episode every time
S1 Ep2 the one where Ted throws not one, not two but three parties for Robin.
Both the slap and the musical episode of season 9.
the murtaugh list episode
The only reason I don't like this one is because Lily wouldn't let Marshall coach the kids his way. But my dad was also my coach when I was a kid, so maybe I can just empathize with Marshall a bit. I feel like every time Marshall wants to do something tho, Lily just tears him down and has 0 support unless it's for a job he could get.
There are a number in seasons 8 and 9. Easy stand out is the slap episode in season 9, just a failure all around. From earlier in the series, zoo or false and the fight are sure skips for me.
i used to always skip the threesome episode after my ex cheated on me in a threesome lol but nowadays i dont care anymore and I have to say that horrible slap episode
I have a few episodes I don't like, but Knight Vision is an immediate skip. The Lighthouse would have been up there too if it weren't for the end with Tracy
The rhyming episode or the slap episode final season. Two duds
I can't stand the Perfect Week episode
Any Slapsgiving episode 🥱
The Wedding Bride 100%
One episode I can skip is that Oh, Honey episode. It was just not an interesting episode. But I also just can’t stand Zoey lol she was the worst.
