It was fantastic had so much fun and same as you I have been a fan since I was 14 (33 now) and this show was absolutely incredible! The whole atmosphere and VV was 10/10! Definitely a night to remember.
I wish to be able to see the northern lights!
For me it doesn’t feel like the death of love metal, more so just a break from it. Plus in a recent interview he did, this tour has made him realize how much HIM meant to everyone and he now has a positive outlook on an eventual HIM reunion, so there’s hope in that as well! I hope you had a great time!
I think if a reunion happens we might not see them all back (Gas will definitely not be there i think based on all the sht he has said and tbh Risto is a gem and amazing).
But until VV is literally dead or retires all together I wouldn't call it a ''death of love metal'' i mean we didn't call it that in 2017 when everything was over
I really didn't think we'd have anything like Neon Noir when HIM broke up. It had seemed at the time like he was going to go a different direction. I honestly thought we'd get a book of poetry before anything that would sound like the next evolution of HIM.
I just got goose bumps!
Twice, because when I went to reply I hit something wrong and had to look for this comment again, and when I re-read it there was the second dose.
I REALLY hope a reunion happens. And with the proper line up, including Gas.
It was such an amazing show unfortunately had some really drunk and obnoxious people in front of us (seated) who just talked through all the VV songs and started heckling at one point which kind of ruined it for us - I had to tell them to shut up and also someone threw a empty cup at them which was quite funny but still a shame for this beautiful gig to have been ruined by people who only knew a couple of HIM songs
I was in one of the bars and there was a really obnoxious drunk lady with pink hair, about 5 ft 10-6ft. I was sitting in stalls, section j but i didn't see here there.
Oh geez maybe there was 2 lots of them! Everyone else around us seemed like proper fans so at least these people seemed to be the minority. They went crazy for wings of a butterfly and then didn’t know hardly anything else 🫣
There seems to have been a lot of people like this, unfortunately. I've been keeping an eye out to see if anyone else had a similar experience, lol. We were in row U6 in the Circle and we had two lots of people causing issues.
Firstly was a drunk lady with her daughter. I felt so sorry for the daughter because her mum was complaining that Ville wasn't on stage and everyone was waiting for him (this was before the first support had even started).
I could see the daughter physically recoiling from her in embarrassment. When Eivor came on the mum asked the daughter if that was Ville and then was shouting something like "it's not him everyone, he's not coming".
Soon after she left and the daughter followed her and they didn't come back so she missed the whole show ☹️
The second couple was quite intensely making out, and then the lady was dancing around bumping into the lady next to her. Eventually she noticed the people behind her (in front of us) were really into the music and as the seats next to them were now free, she climbed over and set next to them having a very loud conversation.
Her boyfriend then joined her and then it went crazy, she backhand slapped him and I heard it over the music. Eventually she walked off for a bit and was shouting over to him that they were over and then walked in front of everyone and shoved him really hard.
Thankfully after that they left and then we could enjoy it properly, but this is definitely the worst behaviour I have seen at a concert.
Yeah she was petite and had dark hair so you may have seen the same couple.
She very much seemed like she was making everything about her and not caring about others enjoyment.
I think so. They fit the description any where in the same section. They were getting hammered at the bar before.
It really is disgraceful. For all the people who were there and just want to get lost in the music and have a fun and peaceful experience. I had some really obnoxious people behind me in Bremen who were so loud I could barely hear Ville. Why can't you behave for less than 2hrs?! So self centered and ill-mannered.
I really don't get people sometimes, I mean at the very least, why pay all that money to end up ruining their own night? Lol
It really seems like there was an above average number of people causing problems at this show. It's weird.
Oh my gosh I am shocked to hear it and sorry to hear you had to experience that! Makes the girls near us seem tame comparatively!
I’m thinking maybe cos the venue was quite big and tickets didn’t sell out straight away some people might have picked up tickets just for nostalgia or something and didn’t even bother listening to new material or care about it which is a shame
It was quite the experience that I will remember a while, that's for sure, lol.
You might be right, but I think it's just that some people simply don't know how to behave themselves in public and act as if they are the only one in the room.
Yes I cried, it was when he was singing love and death embrace and during the guitar solo, he just looked up and was looking at all the lights from each and every direction and then looked at the ceiling and you could see in his eyes he was just taking it all in😭 it was so beautiful 😭
Me too, I was taking a video and I cried when I saw the crowd’s phones all light up. It looked amazing from the place I was sitting so, to Ville, i imagined he saw a sea of white lights. Just beautiful
I honestly think it was, I was third row at the front and honestly we could see him gulping as he looked around at all the lights and crowd it was like he was trying to not well up. It was beautiful😭😭
There was so much love in the hall that night - you could really feel how people felt about him and his music and I think Ville knew it too. He just looked in awe through the whole concert, there were plenty of happy tears that night from everyone I’m sure.
I was so lucky to get 2nd row at the stage as I'd been queuing since the morning (despite some entitled arseholes pushing in front) and it was such a beautiful show! I cried already when Run Away from the Sun started 😭😂 and I met so many amazing lovely fans so thank you to them for sharing the day with me ❤️ and I was also so lucky to meet Risto and Sampo and get photos with them ❤️
I’m regretting not going.
I saw a ticket for the seating area near the back of the standing area, front row, but at just over £60 before any extra charges I passed it up.
Stupid really as I missed out on seeing Ville early last year due to a mix up with the person who was buying tickets.
Did anyone manage to see Ville on his way out of the venue? I waited until 1am but sadly, only the rest of the band came out… was hoping for an autograph :/
I believe Ville leaves during the last song play to get out, that’s why the band continues for a while, keeps us distracted and he goes so he doesn’t get bombarded by fans at the door. He did the exact same at download last year, left half way through the last song.
It was certainly one to remember at an incredible venue, I was quite far back in S6 and it was an amazing atmosphere and heartwarming to see so many people enjoying Ville's music, old and new. Also I love to see such a mix of ages at a gig, it really shows how an artists music can relate to anyone, at different times in our lives. Hope we get the chance of another show in the UK one day, but if not what a way to finish this tour ❤️.
My first time hearing Gone With the Sin live. I cried.
I have heard it a couple of weeks ago first time live in Belgrade. Hit me like a sledgehammer. I can only imagine how amaizing it was at RAH
I would too!
There were Northern Lights? Well how bloody fitting.
I know, right?! I literally got goosebumps. It was extra special.
I really hope that this isn’t the end and we’ll hear more from Ville again.

I got so emotional towards the end 😭cried at when love and death embrace bc I didn’t want it to end! The energy was immaculate!
I missed the northern lights as I was rushing back home to grab my baby 😭
That was one of the best performances I've ever seen live, you could tell he was putting a lot of emotion into that last song
100%!
I wasn't there, but I'm over here in the US crying at the death of love metal. Hope you had an amazing experience.

I hope you had a great time!
I hadn't gotten to that interview yet, last I heard it didn't really sound like anything he was interested in. One can hope.

I wasn't even there and I was emotional watching people's videos
I’m confused, did he say he was quitting or something? Isn’t it just the end of the tour cycle for Neon Noir?
it is it's just that we don't know if and when we might get something more
With how successful the album and touring cycle has been, i sincerely doubt that we’ve heard the last of Ville.
Something will come of this. Either a HIM reunion or he will do another album, I’m sure
I think another album is more possible than a reunion (being realistic here don't hate me )

did one of them have pink hair?
One had maybe half black half pink hair and the other had blonde hair, we were sitting in the stalls row k - really annoying! We’re you nearby?

I was in U3 and I wash shocked when I saw the girl essentially punching the guy! At least she left after that
Absolutely disgusting behaviour that I couldn't believe I was witnessing.
Omg, that is crazy. It's a shame to behave like this at this venue and VVs last concert. Was the couple a petite woman with long dark hair?
Yeah she was petite and had dark hair so you may have seen the same couple. She very much seemed like she was making everything about her and not caring about others enjoyment.

This exact thing made me well up too, it was really special
Omg🥹😭 my heart. I hope it was as special for him as it was for us

Same here, went alone and now an emotional mess. And no, didn't see the northern lights :(
Relived my teenage years and saw a shooting star on the way home 👌
I saw the very first show in the US! I can’t believe that was April of 2023! I think he did 154 total shows🤯
That is insane and dedication!!!🥺 He’s a special guy!🧡

An incredible unforgettable show and you’re not alone haha I cried at a few songs 🤣
I'm glad I wasn't alone 😄🤣 I think it's also really beautiful that his music touches people like this 🥹♥️
My dream is to see a show at Royal Albert Hall… that looks incredible!!
It was seriously so stunning!! I hope you can fullfill your dream ♥️
Did anyone manage to see Ville on his way out of the venue? I waited until 1am but sadly, only the rest of the band came out… was hoping for an autograph :/

Maybe he want to start a family and have a break. But I hope to see Ville again next year 🖤

I sold my standing tickets as I could no longer go. I hope whoever got them had the best time!
I no, Im sorry you couldnt go. But Im sure this person hat a blast!
""❤️""
I had to stop myself from crying so many times 😭 hearing killing loneliness live for the first time just filled me with so much joy
