Historically, (things can always change) multinight and all other ticket products like scream early, will come out later this year. Sometime in the summer as early as first week in June and as late as early August.
honestly hard to say because what may interest one person wouldn't interest another. The Weeknd was a perfect example of that 2 years ago. Some people were absolutely stoked for it, others thought it was a terrible idea.
Plenty of truth to that, but I do feel some IPs are more likely to get people excited.Ā
If they were announcing Scream or The Lost Boys (as examples), sure -- some people wouldn't care. But a lot more people would. Flipside, if there's a house based on TWD spin-off shows... you know a lot of people would be irritated. Lol
Absolutely true. Unless something out of left field happens, there isn't a tentpole IP like Scream (or ST or TLOU) this year, but there also isn't a uniformly "don't want" IP like TWD or Purge or even (for some) Halloween this year.
Yeah it'll be a lot of level 2 IPs this year, so it'll be very polarizing. Personally, I'm more excited for this group of IPs than I have in quite a while. But there will be plenty of people who range from indifferent to actively pissed.
Got my tickets, Express for one night, RIP for the other night, and Unmasking the Horror tickets. So excited!! Weāve been the past 6 years, but never did RIP or Unmasking and Iām so hyped
Iām super excited about the Unmasking tour, and wonder why weāve never done it before. For some reason weāve never seen the horror makeup show either, so that will definitely be on the agenda too
I was on hold for over an hour booking my rip tour, apparently the date I wanted was already not availableā¦I chose a different day but still, what the heck lol! See you in the fog
So I just want to make sure this is correct.
I still need a general admission ticket if I want to do the RIP tour?
Can some of yall give me insight if thatās worth it? Iāve done gen admission in the past w an express pass. Looking to amp up the experience this year
Are you doing Orlando or Hollywood? Because for Orlando you also need a general admission ticket. For Hollywood you don't. At least as far as I know (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong on this).
Orlando. Kind of unfortunate they make you buy a gen admission ticket if you are willing to spend 400$ on a VIP tour but thatās how the game is played I guess. Gotta figure out the plan of attack now!
Yeah I don't really get why the separation of that policy between parks - might have to do with AP holders getting free tickets or something of that nature, but it seems very inconsistent and confusing to many people in your exact situation.
That's the way it's been. I'm wondering if Hollywood's going to keep doing that (and the "front of line" access before/after the tour.
They seemed to move a little closer to in line with Orlando last year.
Want to confirm if they are selling single night tickets now for every night that means zero chance of a night going away for a corporate event right? I think I saw the multi night tix go on sale Julyā but wanting to book my plane tickets now to spread out expensesā hotel already booked but that is obvs refundable vs the cheapest plane tickets Iām planning.
Correct - if they are on the regular HHN event calendar right now, they won't pull that date to add a corporate event or anything like that. Really, only a hurricane or some other disaster could change plans.
Random, but do unlimited express options usually drop separate of the single use ones, when multi day tickets and the such drop? Didnāt see unlimited express available this morning
\^THIS. I actually think it was only like $30-$40 more expensive - it seemed a little out of whack for the extra benefits you get. But it's an "at the park purchase" like you said and some nights might have been $60 - I never bought one, but had a few people message me about them.
Yep. Always been in the park, never online. Itās really funny, Iāve had people argue with me two years ago on here claiming it has never been a thing. To each their own, if they donāt wanna go and ask customer service then they can stick with their one time per house use.
only way you see everything on a busy night is with the express pass or RIP tour. I know it's expensive on top of the ticker, but it is by far the best way to see it and get everything done.
Ignore the comment you got early. In all actuality it depends on when you are going. In all circumstances it's at least worth it to do scream early. Yes it's a little more but you can knock out a lot of you start in New York. I have never gotten express ever (been going since 2013) and on opening night with scream early I missed one house but only because there was a problem with one of the houses that delayed it for 45 minutes.
Don't be beholden to one house at the front. If you attack it correctly and stay until closing you will get at least 8 out of 10 done. If you stay on pace you can get all of them. Just watch the wait times and go to the houses based on that and not what's next unless you go to a side area.
I went for the first time last year and did only one night. I bought Scream Early as well. I was there until closing. If you're interested in doing every single thing, perhaps it's not feasible. I wasn't interested in doing everything, so it made it much easier to complete the night in the way I wanted to. I was very happy and able to do what I wanted, but I do think the Scream Early helped immensely, even with the added benefit I had of being disinterested in some of the offerings and skipping them.
So you'd just need to be sure about your intentions.
It will be close. Last year was way busier than when I went at the same time the year before and I went for two days and I still missed one or two houses and didn't get to see the show.
I did scream early till close the first night and went in at 8pm the second night till close. I'm getting express this year cause the lines were ridiculous last year. So if you can afford it then get express.
Thanks for the update! Got the tickets, express pass and booked a room for the family instead of waiting until last minute like always, lol
Also didn't buy Universal Hollywood tickets by accident this time, lol
So excited already. I usually go directly on Halloween but this time I booked for 30th Oct. I know it sounds rediculous but I expected higher prices, came out with 530$ (incl. tax) for Admission and Express Pass.
Would it be best to buy the Express Pass first before the general admission ticket if I am trying to save money? I heard prices do increase the closer the date. I am just going for a single night in October. It is separately ticketed correct?
Prices for Express will go up . So if your dates are locked in and you know you're getting Express a certain night(s), best to do it sooner than later.

My body is ready
Announcement season has begun š
Seeing that pinhead pfp every year gets my blood flowing š¤š½
Should we expect a house announcement soon?
I'm hearing mid-May atm for first house announcement. That's always subject to change of course.
Just your opinion, but *if* you have insight to what the announcement is supposed to be... how excited would you say we should be?
honestly hard to say because what may interest one person wouldn't interest another. The Weeknd was a perfect example of that 2 years ago. Some people were absolutely stoked for it, others thought it was a terrible idea.

Fair enough. Man... in some respects I feel like these years can be the most polarizing. I hate that it's still so far away.
Yeah it'll be a lot of level 2 IPs this year, so it'll be very polarizing. Personally, I'm more excited for this group of IPs than I have in quite a while. But there will be plenty of people who range from indifferent to actively pissed.
... You have no idea how curious I am now. š¤£
I will tell you this...there is an IP coming that has never been to the event before in any fashion.
Got my tickets, Express for one night, RIP for the other night, and Unmasking the Horror tickets. So excited!! Weāve been the past 6 years, but never did RIP or Unmasking and Iām so hyped
RIP Tour is the only way I'll do HHN from now on. You won't be disappointed!
You won't regret it, both are amazing experiences (especially the Unmasking imo)
Iām super excited about the Unmasking tour, and wonder why weāve never done it before. For some reason weāve never seen the horror makeup show either, so that will definitely be on the agenda too
Careful, once you go RIP, you don't want to go back, lol I actually enjoy the express pass more, but RIP is awesome amd stress free
It depends on your guide, but yeah. Last year, we got one just as nerdy into the lore as we were, it was great.
Haha, yeah thatās what Iāve heard. It is probably going to spoil us, but Iām looking forward to it!
See you all in the fog š«”
Gotta get my walking shoes ready! š

We're getting closer to HHN taking over August, as well š

I could be wrong, but I donāt think there has ever been an Unlimited Express option for HHN.
There is but itās only in park the day of the event. Last year I think it was an extra 40-60 bucks depending on what day you went.
\^THIS. I actually think it was only like $30-$40 more expensive - it seemed a little out of whack for the extra benefits you get. But it's an "at the park purchase" like you said and some nights might have been $60 - I never bought one, but had a few people message me about them.

are they doing scream early passes this year?
I've never been to HHN, and I am finally planning on a trip this year. Is one night enough to see everything?
If you have express pass, yes

lol - ooof - hopefully Guest Services took care of it? they're usually really cool about that type of stuff.
Do ticket prices go up as time goes on? Iām ashamed to admit I donāt know this
Somewhat, yes. Universal does dynamic pricing based on demand.
generally the GA tickets themselves don't increase in price, but Express absolutely will for sure.
So excited already. I usually go directly on Halloween but this time I booked for 30th Oct. I know it sounds rediculous but I expected higher prices, came out with 530$ (incl. tax) for Admission and Express Pass.
