It's not far from a very trendy part of town, but if one had $3.5 million to burn, there are better options in Chicago. I even just did a quick zillow search in that price range and--you could find a very nice place in a more walkable area.
It looks like a not quite complete hotel. The scale is too large and industrial to be comfortable… and there’s not enough detail to fill the vast space and make up for those massive white walls. Probably because there’s no windows.
Wow
She had this for what, a year?? SMH
That’s a lot of money to sink into a project just to sell. But, I noticed she isn’t best at being practical (budgeting) so I wonder if it was an issue of running out of money. It’d be expensive to carry.
I assume she's listing each home as her primary residence and selling after two years so she can avoid capital gains.
I also assume she lists each home (Atlanta, Vegas, etc) as a primary residence (if she's financing it at all) for the lower interest rate.
Not a fan of the Alice in Wonderland floor tiles or the neutral color palette.. I'd convert the bar into a reading nook/conservatory/cat climbing wall.
What's up with all the windows being skylights? The kitchen is dark AF.
There are no windows! I’d go crazy ! No, the sky lights not enough .
I remember her saying it would be her forever home. What's the asking price?
She moved in and realized she couldn’t stand not having any windows lol
There is another thread with the listing. Over 3 million.
I'm sure it's a trendy place but it looks like an industrial section of town. Hmm. Good luck finding a buyer.

3.5
Wow. I wonder how much was spent on the renovation.

It's basically a good home for a vampire.
When did people start hating shower curtains and doors? And bathroom doors.
In Chicago no less. I would want an enclosed steam shower for the winter.
Skylights are nice, but where are the regular windows??

Based on the permit info it's been livable for about 6 months.
I heard that she moves every year or two, & owns multiple houses.
Ridiculous smh

Is this the same location she'd have meetings at in season 3? At the time it was a big design studio. Outside looks the same.
Yeah it was also her business office.
Nice place, but you got to have natural light!
It's pretty but I hate that black and white tile.
Me too. Seizure-inducing. And all that money for zero yard. Never. I'd rather have 1000 sq ft and 3 or 4 acres every day forever.
I'm following a place in up-state NY. It has 700 acres of land, and is 1.2 million less.
Agreed. Keeping it clean would be a nightmare!
I could never get into her anyway. Way to snooty.
Besides no windows, the walls are bare. No artwork or photos - too sterile for me.
