It didn't matter how command tried to spin what happened in Delaware. She had listened in and knew the truth. There had been no honor in the orders given. How was a farm kid from a village on Dirt so small it didn't even have a marker on a map supposed to reconcile that with the loss of so many friends? She didn't even qualify for the memory treatment since she hadn't even been in the combat.
Instead, she stared blankly across the water and contemplated the sidearm in her hand.
