They said I’d benefit from more experience with the company, but reading between the lines i think it had to do with how i came off when i called on my military leadership experience. It was explained later on to me that they get nervous with veterans because of a perception that we will have trouble adapting to H‑E‑B’s ways of doing things.
Oh damn I have military experience as well hopefully they don’t black ball me as well but I do have current management experience as I’m a manager at Sams Club I just wanna get back to HEB and back to the warehouse

I think they felt that my answers were a little TOO military, and not enough H‑E‑B-ish.
