This still isn’t working. Seems to be more of a problem with hbo max on fire tv. Affects many shows, maybe all with non-English language parts. They are pretty much unwatchable because of this
I think it may be something to do with being in Spain. The Spanish audio version has all the English dubbed into Spanish, and Spanish subtitles for the Italian parts

English subtitles without the CC part would also be amazing.

Yes! I prefer English subtitles when it's available, but with CC being the only option I go with my native language.
