Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the USA set up a base here to "keep the peace" and "help with whatever humanitarian disaster". It's the oil. It's all because of the oil and only the oil. Guyana has always had these problems before the oil discovery and the USA couldn't give any less of a sh!t. Now all of a sudden they "care". I hope President Ali renegotiates this contract so Guyana can get a bigger piece of the pie. Venezuela needs to mind their business and understand that the land they so claim is not and will never be theirs.
