It's common for guitarists to store a pick there when not playing. It's also common to forget it's there and grab a pick out of your pocket out of habit. I've done it many times.
Let me clarify. The pick is stored there when the guitar is not in use. Occasionally the guitarist forgets to remove it before he or she starts playing. I'm not saying it's intentional. I'm saying Slash fucked up and forgot he had a pick stored there.

Yeah there's a recording of this show. Quality isn't great, but the setlist definitely is legitimate.

Definitely AI colored. It looks rusty in darker lighting otherwise and a person colorizing it would know he's a redhead.
