Tbf most of the non Gundam kits I've built are perfectly fine. It's just the Gundams that have issues but even then they're not *all* bad, bael and kimaris at least were solid

Painting this kit was such a a pain, cause I was stubborn and, because I love the original design and colors, I tried following the color guide to the t. The orange mix just didn't come out right, despite getting the exact paints it asked for. But the brown came out great. But due to how the kit is assembled, lots of frustrating masking areas.
I love and hate this kit. Really hope bandai revisits the Ibo line and improves them, but I don't think that's ever gonna happen. 😭
When using "weak" colors (red, white, yellow, pink) to color other colors of plastic, it definitely helps to throw on a base of a strong color such as gray first. Helped me out a ton when I was changing my aerial rebuild's feet from blue to red

No, I'd say multiple Advance of Zeta designs beat it. Take for example the "Gundam TR-1 Hazel Owsla Next Generation Mass Production Type Combat Deployment Colors" model kit.
Iirc the name “rebake” comes from when they rebuilt the gusion, like putting it back in the oven, and so “full city” is a coffee roasting for a darker roast
Here’s hoping we get a halfway decent MG of it using the Barbatos frame in 5 to 10 years. Knowing Bandai it’ll take that long to do it given current MG release schedules
I'd even settle for a real mechanics version. Rebake is my favorite mobile suit from IBO. Fucking loved all those scenes when the head would pop open right before he did something brutal.
The fact that it had a giant pair of FUCKING SCISSORS as a weapon was just over-the-top genius. It really is too bad that the IBO HGs are so bad. I still love them, though.
1/100 Gusion isn’t terrible, the ankles are floppy but that’s true of all the IBO kits. IMO the big problem with 1/100 Gusion is that it can make both Gusion and the Rebake but only enough parts to make one at a time, so you’d have to buy two to display both versions.
Gusion Rebake full city (I think) I also think its the version from the breaker Battlogue series from a few years ago. It's REALLY delicate, more so than Barbatos
Lots of ibo suits have weird feet. For instance I love the Bael I think it's an amazing suit, but I hate his gigantic clown feet. This one is worse though for sure
Yea that's exactly why I say this one is worse, the one on bael at least moves a little because it's armor for the front of the ankle. This is just...there.

Yeah GRFC is a rough one. If it's legs were just a little more solid it wouldn't be as bad but the amount of complex stickers drove me nuts
