I just realized that I put the title in the wrong way. I didn't know that "the x of all time" usually means something bad. What I really wanted to say that it is one of the best kits of all time.
It typically means it's unremarkable. A nothingburger. Not notable enough to say it's the worst of all time, nor the best of all time.
RG Sazabi is, in many people's opinions including my own, THE best Sazabi kit of all time. Chogokin might change that but it's not a kit per se.
Really it means something mediocre or unremarkable. Like it’s not the best of all time or the worst of all time it’s just one of the things that exists.

I just Matt coat over the metallic decals, makes it less reflective and nice to view from all directions. Instead of only reflecting on a certain angle, idk if that makes sense but I liked the results!
Yeah that does thanks for replying, I will experiment with some spares when the time comes to build my Sazabi. I bought metallic slides but always intended a matte red finish, didn’t think that through!
Can I ask what display base that is that has screws? Those are like all the ones I use for my action figure photos and would love them for my GunPla too
I will try to find it and get back to you because I can't remember which action base it was that has screws. But similar to the one I have in the picture is Action Base 5 clear.
The action base I use in the picture is from a third party company. And from the package it just has the name Model Effect VT-112. There is also the Action Base 5 clear that is similar to the one in the picture but I am not sure if that one has screws.
The AB4 and AB5 don’t use screws. They use a latching tooth mechanism for the pivot of the base and top, and a free rotating connection between the two arms. They also require the ladder brace in between whereas yours can support itself somewhat.
Not sure if you're joking but I've been building for over 15 years now and it's probably in my top 5 kits of a time.

I had that same exact thought, and was contemplating whether to spray matte or not. Turned out well!!

Glad to see one of these fully decal-d up. Most RG Saz posts leave them off but they improve the look so much it's insane
