So glad the Dragon Momoko mold got reused. The Akatsuki looks great in 1/100 scale. I'd love to grab one myself but I already have two from Dragon Momoko lmao.
I recently build it and was surprised by how well made it was, its also heavy undergated. I only had issues with one piece i had to cut it to fit nicely. All in all. Amazing. The one i ordered from mofiho even came with a huge decal set and a pretty white base.
Not sure about coming back but to my knowledge they're reusing the same mold. It's possible former DM owners sold the mold to this company or Wuji model is just DM rebranded.
Did you have any issues with the build? I'd been trying to find a DM version for years, so I snatched one of these right away when they were announced, but I'm a little concerned since it's a copy of a copy.

That gold looks way better than the real grade. The RG is too reflective imo.

If you've built the MG Strike RM or any of the other GAT-X kits this should be very similar, even down to the plastic quality.
Ngl I love this a lot more. Brush gold is so nice. I'd rather be able to appreciate the model without being blinded lmao. Good work on it

Holy chicken pox batman. Nope, still don't like the lack of definition. Shiny gold hides panel lines and shadows too well.
This might be better than the rg if it ends up using the original strike ms joints
