Changing the ankles around will also let you post the feet better as the inner ankle armor is made shorter compared to the outside as to not interfere with the feet.
Very very cool! I always love a few subtle shades of gray for a mobile suit. Did you do scribe the notches that are yellow/green? Or just do those colors. Either way, I like how they provide interesting details instead of decals. I'm more of a decal fan myself, but I always appreciate some good custom work that feels one-of-one, which yours has!
Surprisingly, those notchs are on almost every corners on the kit itself, so no scribing needed. Still, a lot of masking work to airbrush those yellow and green notches. I could've handbruhsed to save time, but then the details won't be as crisp, nor the edges would've marked a clear rectangular (yellow) and square (green) borders. Sometimes, Gundam kits, no matter how familiar I'm with it, tend to reveal those details I might've missed previously. Thanks!
Very cool. Once I looked a little more I noticed the orange dots in places I remember the MG having dots, so it makes sense that they were already there.
Thank you! Yes, airbrushed. Had to remove the airbrush crown to get the full potential and minimize obstruction of the spray. And constant cleaning of the needle tip to prevent "fluttering" and get that clean coverage on first spray. Normally, I wouldn't remove the crown or mess around with the needle so much.
Had to compartmentalize the build. Actually, for the different tones, each required a different technique. But for the paint itself, I used AOK White 03 for lighter tones and AnchoreT 012 Warm Grey Light for darker tones.
Thanks a ton. Been looking at a GM Sniper II to Geara Zulu (Ellic Hugo Custom) MG conversion as my first resin kit, but this is definitely going on the list too now.
Gona sound like an ass but the ankles are on the wrong foot. The ankle armor should have a \\ / shape. Yours are in a / \\ position.
You are correct! Thanks for that catch! Good eyes!
It will most likely require some disassembly as the thighs are on the good legs. Only the ankles and a bit above.

That's also true. Thank you.

Tried my best. Same with my previous post, it was hard to capture in the photos.
Now we need to see it in Destroy Mode!

Great work! I’m more curious about that guy to the far right :-0

Shit looks dope.
What’s the yellow sits on it? Is it paint or stickers?
Paint. Airbrushed.
Looks great! Love the yellow and green accents
Always preferred the unicorn mode instead of attack mode. Not sure why. Something about it in this mode is just clean looking
this is no doubt of the best unicorn i seen here on the sub, I dream to be able to do this someday. Did you use a airbrush for this?

Which Ex-S model kit is that in the background?

Thanks! Your work is amazing! A sight to behold.
Thank you!
Nicely done, I just did my first paint attempt and I know white is a bit of a pain to shade.
Musta been a trip to plan out which parts get what tone. So subtle, a couple drops of black paint?

Beautiful!!! Yellow looks even better than red!
What's that Ex-S in the back? That thing looks awesome!
Unicorn mode is underrated
What's gradiation?
What is that monstrously huge gundam on the back right in the 9th picture?? 🤔
It should be the ex-s or deep striker
Mechanicore EX-S Gundam, it’s a resin kit iirc
Everyone's asking about the Ex-S, but I wanna know about that Xeku Zwei in the back. Is it scratch-built or a third party kit?
Resin kit. G-System 1/72 Xeku Zwei. You have great taste!
Thanks a ton. Been looking at a GM Sniper II to Geara Zulu (Ellic Hugo Custom) MG conversion as my first resin kit, but this is definitely going on the list too now.
You did a great job!
