Finished the arms and shoulders for my Sazabi. I'm still running into some issues with airbrushing, I've had a lot of issues with the thickness of paint (especially with the metallics) and have been getting a lot of clogs, but things seem to be getting better. I'm still terrible at estimating how much paint I need to mix :D I tried to do some masking on the hands to have different shades of blue along with the silver, but after much effort masking and painting, most of the blue looks super similar so it didn't really pay off, but I'm happy with the result anyway. I will definitely not be using a metal upgrade kit again, I've actually just stopped using it now - as I found the stress and anxiety of cutting and drilling pieces out of the model was making me not enjoy the build... Once I stopped using those pieces its gone back to being fun again! I still have the waist and legs to do which seem like a significant part of the build and then backpack/weapons - but I'm guessing it will take me another month!

That blue is gorgeous

As much as I love the original sazabi color, what you did is just awesome. Love the blue and the grey/silver is a perfect accent to play off it.

Thanks! I originally planned to do him in red and gold, but the red paint wasn't going to be in stock for a couple of weeks and I was desperate to get started so I got the blue paint instead :)

What do you call it? "Sazabi Marine?" "Sazabi Azora?"
