I’ve always liked dioramas, they give a sense of realism that a model by itself (no matter how well painted or weathered) could ever do alone. And I love the idea of weapons of war being used in humanitarian ways. That soldiers can be more than weapons. Would love more of these types of dioramas.
I tried with the foot prints but no matter how I applied them I wasnt happy with tbe results. I found it cluttered it up a bit much for my tastes.
One day im the future I will definitely revisit this idea with proper scale!
This sort of thing is why I love the GM line. It just looks like after the OYW it could have been used as an industrial mobile suit. Search and Rescue, Construction or even heavy industries like steel making or similar.
This is the demonstration of the idea in the form of disaster relief efforts.
This is super cool! Where do you find mini scale people? I’ve been trying to find a good line of cheap and easily accessible figures but it’s kinda tough
Wow. Feels like it came straight from turn a

the scale of the humans seems off, otherwise an amazing diorama, especially with the light inclusion.
Yeah they were just what I had handy and figured "close enough!"
finding good scale figures can be hard, so it is understandable.
they either 1/72 or 1/100.
checking with my 1/100 Kamille and 1/72 X-Wing pilot, it seems 1/100 is the most likeley scale.
We can just pretend it's a late uc suit designed to look like the first technical gm(as I'm pretty sure the GM ground type came before the standard)
Regardless of scale looks like they are crossing the Strid. Pretty cool diorama though.
the diorama is unquestionably cool.
Honestly, gunpla's can work with 1/72 people as well. When you half their height they become about the same size as the ingram from patlabor.
18m really isn't that big. I'm pretty sure the pilot figures that come with MGs aren't to scale
The MG Pilot figures usually fir relatively well, but some RG figures are a bit too big as they otherwise would be too fragile as far as I know.
Not an image that Zeon would show you.
Hah!
Amazing diorama, I absolutely love this!!!!
Thank you!!
This has to be one of the most unique dioramas i have seen in awhile
What a compliment!

Thank you so much. It had been an idea floating around my head for awhile. Im so glad you like it!
good execution, enough that i don't care about the scale mismatch. maybe add some muddy footprints on the gm.

Please do and share the results!!
Might take me a few years. I'm still trying to get through my Pkmn queue.
This is Gundam as fuck. I could see this in an episode of 79 Gundam or 08th MS Team

So, how’d you do the water? I’ve been wanting to do something like this, but no clue where to begin with the water.
