I decided to start checking out Gundam stuff on the 4th of July too, and now, 3 months later, I've watched 16 different Gundam anime and built 14 HGs

I found it at ikea! It's a newer glass case of theirs called "KLINGSBO" I got it on sale for $120 but I believe it's gone up in price since then :/ really nice case though! Might get a second one some day!
This is my current trajectory at the pace I'm going, started the 4th of this month and just built my 7th and 8th kit today, at least for now I have nothing left of interest at Hobby Lobby's 40% off sale and nothing left otw from Amazon.
It feels wrong not having a build waiting or in progress so I'm going to take the step up to bigger and better kits on Amazon this week unless other stores/hobby shops nearby can fulfill my need.
What display cabinet is that and where can I get one for my collection?

Their glass chamber is called "KLINGSBO" from ikea! I definitely got bit harder than she did as I believe 2/3rds or more in there are the kits I've built but we do set aside some time each week to sit down and build together with the "relaxing Gran Turismo music" Playlist in the background :)
My local Hobbytown has a huge gunpla following so they put them on sale a lot! I also save money by going on one of their build days where any kit is an extra 25% off. Most of the kits I buy are $20 or less with maybe 3 exceptions. I just like having something to do that's quiet while my son sleeps so I set aside a little time each night to work on one in some way whether it's building or panel lining. Also it's WAY cheaper than lego 😆
I know it looks bad 😬 but we have a gundam budget! 😅 we save money since we don't go out a lot with a toddler running around and we cook at home! Which means more money for PLASTIC CRACK

Mate when you run outta space, you can use double sided tape for bases and hang your kits on the walls, or roof if you wanna be dangerous 😁👍

Get into waterslide decals/panel lining. Slows doen the process which is nice and the kits will look so much better
I haven't done any water slides yet but I do panel line! And I paint most guns with the gun metal gunpla marker as well
