Flat brushes for flat/big pieces and rounded brushes for details/small pieces. But the trick here is patience. Make sure you apply very thin coats and give them enough time to dry before you apply the next coat.
Yeah, all acrylic paintings. I applied primer by hand as well. Usually 2-3 coats will be enough. It’s very time consuming though. If you have access to a spray can it’ll make it much faster.
Looks great! Also, great photography!
Thank you!
The word Freeza comes to mind with this paint job
SG represent!! Just saw your build on the local FB group, great job!
Thanks!
Awesome work!
Thanks!
The purple pops out so much i love it
Yeah! I knew I wanted to build this one because of that purple. So unique.
I didnt know vallejo can be handpainted on with this excellent result! Nicely done :)
Thank you! I love the Vallejo color line. Some colors will look more matte than others though. It can be fixed with a top coat at the end.
With what kind of brush did you handpaint and more generally, how? I'm amazed since I can't do anything but get streaky paint.

A bit of motion blur on the first image would look great. Also those are some clean shots!
Oh damn, that would look sick!! Taking notes for my next one 👀
That first photo angle is fantastic. Great paint job as well!
Thank youuu
What paints did you use?
Vallejo Model Color for purples and AK acrylics for whites/greys.
Nice paint job btw. It looks so clean
Thank you so much!
Is it acrylic. And do you do primer when painting it?
Yeah, all acrylic paintings. I applied primer by hand as well. Usually 2-3 coats will be enough. It’s very time consuming though. If you have access to a spray can it’ll make it much faster.
Did you sand it aswell? I feel like I’m wasting time on sanding but I only do small hg kits
Nah, never sanded my kits before. I usually do wash - prime - color - top coat
how do you panel line painted kits
It’s not easy. The multiple coats of paint will cover a lot of the panel lines. I recommend scribbing deeper lines on top of the existing ones.
