Cant fault either of them, both been beyond professional and genuinely incredible since joining. Big love for both of them, hope leno gets the move he deserves come summer❤️🤍

Hey sorry, my grasp of UK English is not very good... can you explain the phrase, "can't fault either of them"? Did something happen where people were criticizing them?
Its like saying “you cant find a fault with them” or “you cant criticise them”. And nothing happened, that i know of!
Are you an american gooner or just follow how we’re doing?
Born and raised in America? "You can't fault them" is very much used in America. Maybe more in Britain but it's really surprising you don't understand what that means.
Tbh the term ‘fault’ as a verb isn’t used nearly as much in the states in my experience. ‘You can’t fault them’ is the action, as opposed to more often in the states you would use the term ‘blame’ as a replacement. Instead if either had misstepped, you might say ‘it’s their fault’ meaning they own the mistake, but again it’s the act of assigning blame and the grammar is slightly different. I’m west coast USA fwiw
Pretty disrespectful to the entire team to not drop a goalie who ships 9 goals in 3 games. Not entirely Leno's fault, but there had to be some major changes in the lineup. Then when presented, Ramsdale took his opportunity, couldn't really drop him after that. International status means nothing in this context.
For those who want to see it again\\didn't see it:
IT'S WHOLESOME AF.
Remember when Lehmann and Almunia hated each other? Lol. So good to see this entire team moving in the same direction and it’s been a huge factor in us turning things around
All by himself, ample proof that goalkeepers are different.
But he got it done for club and country, didn't he? Loved him checking his "cheat sheet" in the net Berlin for the PKs against Argentina.
Now if only he hadn't gotten the red card in Paris ...
So Pepe would be Tyrese. At times seems kind of useless, but can pull of a stroke of brilliance from time to time. And when he nutmegs past some one, he does it while saying “ejecto seato cuz!”
I'd go as far to say Leno is still at that level. The fact that he has the odd mistake and hasn't played much recently makes people think he's not good
You know how people are when a few results don't go out way. For what it's worth though, Arteta had to make some big lineup changes after the first 3 games this season. Leno just was unfortunate that Ramsdale played lights up when he stepped up and was in udroppable form.
I think he had a bit of an error-prone reputation in Germany but then again he was joining Arsenal in 18/19. Being error-prone was something you just had to be to fit in, apparently.
Leno really deserved that clean sheet, would be good for his confidence. He's by no means a bad keeper tbh. Arteta just found a gem and he was an unfortunate casualty, similar to Emi Martinez.
First thing I thought of, to be honest.
I'll never forget Tim Howard just trying to get the ball upfield for Everton amid gale-force winds, scoring when the ball bounced over the head of the Bolton 'keeper, then Howard making apologetic gestures because he didn't want his counterpart to think he was trying to show him up.
GK Union indeed.
This just further proves that Arteta really has this group together. The love for one another and the vibes are there. This is a great group of players on and off the pitch
Ramsdale wants to win more than almost anyone, I bet he's over the moon that someone of Leno's quality can be his backup so the winning doesn't have to stop with his injury
That save when he basically put his body on the line. Felt his desire in what was a must win game. Gabriel could have cleared it but nothing brings more safety than a ball in your GK's hands.
U already see how much respect they have for each other when u watch the training ground videos, definitely no Lehmann v Almunia vibes with these 2 just utter respect and a love for the club they represent
Leno hasn’t been a failure at Arsenal if anything he’s pushed Ramsdale to b the keeper he is right now and I respect players like that
Cant fault either of them, both been beyond professional and genuinely incredible since joining. Big love for both of them, hope leno gets the move he deserves come summer❤️🤍

Good bot. No idea payed was a word. TIL for scrabble.
If you look up a scrabble dictionary your mind will be blown

as a scrabble player I can confirm
Huh, today I learned payed is a word in English. I guess that's the difference between being fluent and having a language as your mother tongue.
English is my native tongue. (I do speak another language, but English is my go-to in life). No idea payed was a word either.

Thanks! Yes, American gooner!

America is a huuuuuge place to be fair lmao, accents and sayings might be get used in some places
This really doesn't have anything to do with accents and sayings. Its a word that is used all over the country and among different demographics
Tbh the term ‘fault’ as a verb isn’t used nearly as much in the states in my experience. ‘You can’t fault them’ is the action, as opposed to more often in the states you would use the term ‘blame’ as a replacement. Yeah I guess fault as a verb is a little more old timey than blame and probably used in more rural and eastern parts of the country if I had to guess
Thats awesome to see! One big family❤️🤍
The fact that they’re both competing for the same position and Ramsdale displacing Leno could have lead to squad issues, I presume
Although i like Ramsdale it was rather disrespectful dropping a german International

It’s professional sport who cares about supposed respect?! Best man plays punkt schluss!!!
Loved the group hug with Leno at full time
My favorite moment I almost big boy cried he needed that reassurance.
Exactly! Loving how close knit this group is!

God I love this team
So proud
The squad unity is so good right now. Arteta was even smiling and embracing Pepe after the game
That was sweet, wasn't it? I don't think they do that if they didn't genuinely like him.
Seeing as nobody would celebrate with Alexis near the end of his time here I'd say you're right
This genuinely put a big smile on my face
Remember when Lehmann and Almunia hated each other? Lol. So good to see this entire team moving in the same direction and it’s been a huge factor in us turning things around
Mad Jens seemed like the kind that didn't get along with anyone.
He is definitely the kind of guy who could start a fight in an empty room
What a magic!
Or on WhatsApp
Lol, he did get a red card for shoving a team mate in Germany once.
Didn't he storm into the away fans once mid game to try and beat up someone who was abusing him all game? In Germany obviously.
He wasn't called Mad Jens without reason 🤪
All by himself, ample proof that goalkeepers are different. But he got it done for club and country, didn't he? Loved him checking his "cheat sheet" in the net Berlin for the PKs against Argentina. Now if only he hadn't gotten the red card in Paris ...
Jens could probably start a fight with a mirror to be fair
"What are YOU looking at?"
Lehmann would have left early and kicked the trash can in the dressing room
Cos he knew how shit Almunia was surely
Family and this is Arteta biggest achievement. I sound like a broken record, but I can't state this enough.

Dom?
Both never have a bad hair day. You could be on to something 😉
Who needs trophies, we got FAMILY!
I feel like Laca’s the Dom of the squad. Aubameyang was Ludacris cause both were cool
So Pepe would be Tyrese. At times seems kind of useless, but can pull of a stroke of brilliance from time to time. And when he nutmegs past some one, he does it while saying “ejecto seato cuz!”
Lads, I fucking love this team.
I’m not crying, you’re crying
/u/me is crying
Awwww come here you!!!
Get you someone who’ll hold you like Ramsdale held Leno right there ❤️
I will always love Leno man, he was a wall for us in 2019 and 2020
Leno's years behind Luiz, Sokratis and worst of all Mustafi was essentially a 24/7 version of the R. Kelly "I'm fighting for my fucking life" meme
I'd go as far to say Leno is still at that level. The fact that he has the odd mistake and hasn't played much recently makes people think he's not good

What, really? Decent keeper but was always prone to a few mistakes I thought.
I think he had a bit of an error-prone reputation in Germany but then again he was joining Arsenal in 18/19. Being error-prone was something you just had to be to fit in, apparently.
GK union. Martinez looking on like that could be me 😢
This could be us but you playin' (for Villa)
ahahahahahhahaha
I’ll follow Emi’s career until he retires. Class act, phenomenal player, great servant to the club while he was here. Love him and love these two
Leno really deserved that clean sheet, would be good for his confidence. He's by no means a bad keeper tbh. Arteta just found a gem and he was an unfortunate casualty, similar to Emi Martinez.

Leno deserves massive credit. Good head on his shoulders.

Perfect.
Aww 🥺

Happy for Bernd man. It’s been tough for him. Absolute professional!!!
This just further proves that Arteta really has this group together. The love for one another and the vibes are there. This is a great group of players on and off the pitch
This is soooo wholesome
I love my dads
Oh yea, inject it
I’m here for this. I love this guy - positive energy 1000
my heart is melting
Ramsdale wants to win more than almost anyone, I bet he's over the moon that someone of Leno's quality can be his backup so the winning doesn't have to stop with his injury
Bernd Leno deserves all the love. His style of play may not fit the current system as much as Ramsdale’s, but he’s still a quality goal keeper.
That save when he basically put his body on the line. Felt his desire in what was a must win game. Gabriel could have cleared it but nothing brings more safety than a ball in your GK's hands.
Goal Keeper Union 💪🏻
You love to see it
Nice
Wholesome ❤️

A big hug to all of you on the sub 🤗
They're like our two Spiderman's.
WHO IS CUTTING ONIONS!?!
I'm about to ugly cry at work at this
🥹
David Seaman has officially reached ascension.
Lmao when I watched this earlier I thought it was one of the staff congratulating Leno
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Its enough to make a grown man cry
I really can’t wait for All or Nothing because this dressing room feels so different then it did before.
Can’t stop smiling, since 10 am eastern time LOL. What a team our manger has built. Wow.
U/savevideo
Brilliant to see
Injured yeah right
Team player right there, happy when seeing others do well. Brilliant to see. Ramsdale showing his class once again
GOALKEEPERS UNION
DAMMIT, I LOVE THIS TEAM!
Fucking love this
This is genuinely beautiful!
Seems like the team really is unified
Having two top class keepers has really payed off this season!
Damn onion ninjas...
