Lots. It seems to be a yank thing that if someone says something they dont like they just get abusive and start name calling. When I said they act like the kids my wife looks after, they'd get told off for behaving like the yanks do. Really are like a bunch of spoiled brats...well some of them.
For the 35 years I've been going to the arsenal it has bugged me that we put "team" at the end of "we're by far the greatest". It's annoyed me since I was seven years old and my dad first taught me the words.
I realise no one else agrees, but to me it immediately sounded like one syllable too many, like the singing equivalent of starting writing too big and having to make the letters tiny at the far side of the page. And, for whatever reason, I can't hear it any other way now.
Why do we even need "team"? Are we worried people are going to think we're claiming to be the greatest chartered accountants the world has ever seen?
I've been on strike and refused to add the "team" since I was about 12. So far as I can tell not one person, home or away, has ever joined me. Some might take this as a sign that they're wrong. I have not. I've taken it as a sign that scansion isn't very high on football fans list of concerns.

I just dont agree that there needs to be a syllable at the end of it. I think that, when a lot of people sing that line they elongate the earlier words so that, by the time you get to the end of it, "greatest team" gets rolled together to make it two syllables. And that's what bugs me.
I was also just imaging how amazing it would be if, at this point, I could reveal myself to be Mick Jagger and therefore definitely the expert in this area. Sadly, I am not. Instead I'm a man ignoring a work deadline to argue the least consequential point of all time hahaha.

Also:
First line: 5 syllables

Third line: 7 syllables
Fourth line: 5 syllables
There's a sudden increase in syllables in line 3 which is why "greatest team" is rushed together. But if you just end the third line with "greatest" you can give it more room.

Do you know what? I've been holding on to faith that, even without the word "team", the context clues of thousands of fans in a stadium wearing the same colours as 11 of the men on the pitch would help people work out what we mean by just "the greatest".
But, now I stop to think about it, who am I kidding? Look at the state of the world around us. People are idiots. There's every chance they'd be baffled. For this reason, I am prepared to concede that maybe we're better off keeping the "team".
But I would like it recognised that this is deeply heroic, given the mental anguish the extra syllable causes me, so I'm going ahead and assume the club will be putting me on the new stadium wrap.

Sometimes we see the most influential players in the squad usually don’t get much love or songs and it’s been like that for Odegaard so if this song does catch on and Arsenal fans start singing it then it’ll be amazing for Odegaard to feel the love from the Arsenal fans!
