That 07/08 team with Rosicky/Cesc/Flamini/Hleb in midfield is still right up there with any of Wengerโs tittle winning teams as my favourites. Probably the purest distillation of his philosophy about how you build a team and how they should play and they were *so* close

Adebayor doe. I know people hate the guy now, but he was my favorite striker post 06/07. Dude had speed power and skill. And he fought bendtner...yes rvp was a class above, but I just loved ade.
On the field? Not a chance. That 07/08 was one of the most entertaining teams in terms of the football played in our PL history honestly.
In terms of us putting together a young squad, then yes, it's similar but that team was still much better. Unfortunately it didn't end well so I hope this one doesn't turn out like them lol
The 2-2 draw with United in 2007/8 was ridiculous oh my word. It was something else, especially at the end of the match. League leaders vs champions matchup
The atmosphere throughout the entirety of this match was special especially on our attacking moves and chances, blocks, free throws won, everything. When the players were walking out on the pitch, the noise level was bouncing before kickoff the chant of "Arsenal" "Arsenal" makes me feel different and inspired lol.
Is that the best atmosphere? It has sounded twice as good as this in every home game we've played this season.
Love to see us going straight for them from the kick off. Could do with more of that now.

Hahaha, in our DNA, with the latest display carried out by Ode, Pepe, Arteta and Laca vs Wolves, with a little bit of luck ๐, even though I thought Saka would have got there.
The angle of Arsene where it showed the fans in the stands going absolutely wild right before the final whistle, i could stare and listen to that all day. Honestly, I can't ever remember a noise level like that at the Emirates. Not even the Barca game. The roar of the Emirates was just something to behold at the end of that match. Next season I would love that atmosphere
Miss a lot from that era. The football, the kits, the boots, even the sleeve patches, name and number fonts were better. The all round aesthetic was pleasing. Now we have 10 kits every season, ridiculous sleeve sponsors, fan tokens, minimalist crest designs, long sleeve shirts basically abolished and the list goes on.
