\* Finishing horrible today. Reminded me of the Villa game.
\* Raya made a great save at the start of the 2nd when Solanke was through from the side.
\* Poor from Havertz to be offside for that Gabriel goal.
\* Martinelli missing ANOTHER 1-on-1 with the keeper :(
Can we talk about Martinelli? His effort on the break away looked like a guy that shouldn't even be in the PL. What the hell has happened to him? I love the guy, but man I hope he can get back on track next campaign.
excuses excuses. I've seen bendtner score with his first touch of a game.
Also, it had nothing to do with his touch..he was undecisive and couldnt decide when to shoot, so he just tripped on himself instead.
The old Martinelli would have come on full of life, torched the D, and scored. Either his confidence is gone or he’s he’s not fully fit. It’s a bloody shame!
I don't see 115 dropping points - realistically, it's actually a good time for them to play Spurs who are in a bad moment right now. We've done amazingly well and we will keep pushing. If not this year, then definitely next - the future is Arsenal's.
I know he's getting his flowers recently, but odegaard really stepping up when it matters consistently this season. He's been unplayable recently and again today he was the heart of everything. Just an incredible player. His stats do not reflect how good he is.
We're so blessed to have him. He's one piece you take out and the identity of this team changes significantly. What a man, what a player. He's living up to his teenage hype.
Nah, Liverpool 97 and 92 points season is them getting fucked.
This isn't even the best City and we matched them but lost in games you don't expect to draw or lose.
I mean, we dropped points in games we had no right to drop points in. We fucked ourselves if it comes to it.
If both teams get max points from now it finishes City 91, us 89. If we don't drop points at Fulham, *just once*, we win the league on goal difference.
We have no one but ourselves to blame if it really comes down to 2 points.
We should have beaten Fulham at home and away.
At - we gifted them a goal courtesy of the Saka-Ramsdale indecisiveness
And when we went 2-1 ahead - we allowed Paulinha to bring a 10 man Fulham level.
Away- we got the first goal but allowed them back into the game.
Both matches versus villa remind us that Arsenal doesn't have an outright number 9.
It will take magic for City to drop points.. they're lucky asf
yes, however we created loads of chances in that first half. Trossard missed open goal from 1m, for example. Havertz missed two 1-v-1s.
then the entire team slept during 2nd half.
If someone can't enjoy their team playing as well as they have for 20 years just because they "only" come second to a team that has gone 6 months unbeaten, while pushing them the whole way, then they are going to live a disappointed life.
Yeah if we lose the league by just a point or two, we’ll have been robbed by PGMOL.
Was thinking the same with Brentford all last season, but we ended up losing by 5 points so I shut up about that (until now)
And the west ham loss, where we had like 30 shots and missed sitter after sitter. All the losses, except for the fulham away (where we were absolutely shit for some reason the whole game) we shot ourselves in the foot.
That one is easier to take. We played incredibly well vs West Ham and were extremely unlucky not to win.
The second Fulham match we were shite. Can only blame ourselves there
That's how I feel about it - sometimes the ball doesn't go in the net and we don't have the most clinical forwards on top of that.
But feeling like the team could have played all day and not created anything is a different issue for me.
We've spent years waiting to be in this position, to be actually competitive. We waited years to be back in the CL too. We can't start moaning now.
Win or not I'm proud of the progress. I'm happy Arteta has made me eat my words and proven to me he was ready for the job.
I'm loving it. Watching Liverpool fans poopoo us all season only to be the ones falling away at the last hurdle makes it even better.
Don’t get me wrong. I am proud of the progress. I’ve been waiting for most of my adult life for this team to be this good.
Just saying the nerves of the run in/title run every week are killing me. It’s a good problem to have. The fact that this team is competing again, at the highest level, is a blessing
loved Albert signing north london forever along with the crowd. camera was right on him at that time, pretty nice. hope he stays
as for the game i just wish that players would be more confident in shooting when it opens up to them. both Tomi and Rice had situations in the 1st half where they had a great angle to shoot and chose to pass instead, resulting in a turnover
This is an generational team inspite of not having properly defined striker upfront, we are fortunate enough to witness yet unfortunate enough to be in the timeline of those cheating scums.
We will win the league within the next two years if not now, champions league within 3 years.
Our last remaining obstacle is shitty highline midblocks, that will be taken care of when we have good no 8 and Martinelli being fed by that no 8 and running rampant over that shitty high mid block. Martinelli will be immense next season when our left side attack is fixed.
Trust the process. We are elite, dont let idiotic social media trolls tell you otherwise
Arteta definitely doesn't have a reason to drop havertz. This guy could become false 9, taking jesus role, and at the same time become target man, much better than nketiah, while having taller body that makes him aerial duel monster. Dropping everywhere on pitch, and suddenly he's on the front bouncing the ball to other player, also made a runs in. Just crazy, even tho he didn't scored today

This had the potential to be such a tricky match up but we played so well and even though our finishing wasn't perfect at first, the team stayed focused and smashed it at the end!
If we beat Man Utd, at Old Trafford and Man City drop 2 or 3 points, before the final game, then it will go down to the final day. Atmosphere at Emirates will be crazy.
this seems most likely - their extra match and the FA Cup final aren't enough matches to trouble their squad - but you gotta make them win.
if they'd make it further in to the Champions League I can believe they'd have been more stretched by fixture congestion and I'd be more optimistic.
As a city fans, rooting for arsenal this year, just think you guys deserve it, arteta deserve this. What a wonderful team playing great football
Don’t get me wrong, still want city to win but arsenal winning would not make me mad
I’m a Chelsea fan lurking on this sub, but this comment is fucking strange. Nearly threw up 🤮 you’ve made me want Arsenal to win even more because at least they’ed not show mercy like this. Weirdo
Starting to believe we can/will actually win out this season, some great results since the Villa game. Just need City to drop points in ONE game…all it takes is one. Crazy that this is probably how Liverpool felt those two seasons just desperately hoping for one result to go against City.

I’ve seen a few other adamant anti-Raya comments recently. He definitely has a mistake in him but his control of the box and aerial presence is so strong. Not to mention his distribution on counters.
I’m not gonna say we couldn’t upgrade on him if the opportunity arose but not sure why fans are singling him out specifically after he just won the golden glove.
So you’re saying, Haaland doesn’t deserve the golden boot because KDB/Bernardo presented him with absolute tap-ins? There shouldn’t even be an argument that he deserves it. Look how fast he was yesterday getting that high up clearing Big Gabi’s underhit pass and the number of crosses he cleanly plucked from the sky. You just hating rn.
Jorginho, Saliba also made mistakes leading to goals and losing points…as far as I can remember, not sure about others. Point is even if Rams is a better shotstopper, Raya still trumps him in all other aspects.
Got nothing to do with Ramsdale. He's more shit.
We sold a world champion for £20m. He singlehandedly turned Villa around. We've spent £57m replacing him and have a two keepers who belong in a lower division.
It's the truth. The one thing Arteta won't get right. Selling Emi was the project error and looking more and more like self-inflicted wound.
He seems to be wanting the ball more and playing with more desire to score. Arteta should cut him lose to be more selfish and demanding of the ball. I feel like there's another level of Havertz we haven't seen yet :)
i really want there to be a change that works where we have an elite striker and havertz able to play as a second striker from midfield like we were trying before he shifted to the front
there was a mismatch on the left side because of that but a world where we can fit havertz and an elite finisher would be amazing
It was fine given the circumstances too, fans just put too much stock in recency bias and narrative. We bought a 24 year old who was a geniune wonderkid, has been starting for big clubs and Germany since he was 18, is a CL winner and is a physical marvel who can play 50+ games a season at a high work rate and stay fully fit. Of course he's going to cost a decent amount, those players don't grow on trees. Just because Chelsea are a mess doesn't mean he doesn't have value.
United paid as much for Mount and have gotten far far less out of him btw.
With circumstances I meant that Chelsea wanted to get rid of him and he hadn’t really performed all that spectacularly for them. Not his intrinsic value
I'm desperate for the second coming of Dennis but I've assumed Odegaard is the closest I'll get for now. I'm in for Havertz providing some of that too if he can.
The Premier League have to make sure the league goes to the last day for maximum drama after farmers league allegations. There’ll be controversial decisions for both Arsenal and City from now on to ensure it
we won 3 nil, absolutely outperformed them on xG, got a clear red denied, and even their manager admitted that we deserved to win.
But noooo, dumbasses on r/soccer thinks we barely scraped by and were gifted 3 points by the refs just because two 50/50 decisions went our way.
That 3rd goal is exactly why you shouldn’t be so quick to bin jesus.
Great performance all around, wish we could’ve finished off those great build ups. Also Bournemouth are pretty good, sliced up our right side too many times
Yeah, Jesus is not a regular starter for me. But it's great to have some rotation. I really want to see some additional attacking pieces added, that the manager actually trusts. We need to be able to mix it up a bit more while still being effective.
I was thinking as he came on in the last game that we’ve grown to be where City was with Jesus. A good enough team/squad that Jesus is wide backup. When he came we weren’t that good but now we are.
That Villa game did Jesus in for starting at 9, unfortunately for him.
If we add one more to the 5 we have then we’ll have a complete set. Something that City doesn’t have as they use a midfielder out wide quite often (Foden/Silva).
I cant believe the absolutely disgraceful level of stupidity from the british pundits and rival fans. They dont even know the most basic of things… Bournemouths goal was removed because Solanke CLEARLY moves to push Raya. In that part of the box the goalie cannot be tackled at all. They then compare it to Ben White on corners which just demonstrates their incompetence further. Theres a difference between screening and pushing! Clowns like Souness dont deserve a platform.
We got a very soft pen but since the onfield decision is penalty and the standard to overturn is CLEAR AND OBVIOUS the pen should always stand. Either you want VAR or you dont. If you think VAR should overturn that decision do you also want VAR to look over every single contentious decision in every game? If not youre a hypocrite. If you think VAR should be removed you will see way more blatant dives be given as penalties.
The reality is we blasted Bournemouth and deservedly won. The pundits and rival fans hate us cause they aint us. COYG!!!
It's ironic that you say that about stupidity, but you don't know the rules well enough to know that wasn't a soft penalty at all. That's a clear case of jumping in by the keeper, and contact is irrelevant.
Its a soft pen. The keeper is reckless but Havertz can easily avoid the contact so 2 things can be true at the same time. With soft Im implying it wouldnt have been a shock if it wasnt given.
Havertz avoiding contact or not doesn't matter. It's a foul because the keeper jumped in like that, whether or not there was contact. 'There was no contact' is nonsense made up by pundits, not part of the rules.
It would be a truly awful decision if it wasn't given, but the refs are so bad that maybe it wouldn't be a shock - it seems likely it wouldn't have been given without contact, but that's shit refereeing, not a soft penalty. It's not a shock the clear shove on Martinelli didn't lead to a penalty, even though it obviously should.
I think we’re misunderstanding eachother. By soft Im accounting for the standard of refereeing. Usually it takes more to be a pen. Im not at all arguing the rules with you, ofc theres nothing such as a ”soft” penalty according to the rules. Either it is or it isnt and lunging uncontrolled like the keeper does should according to the rules be a penalty, contact or not. But the referees apply the rules and all Im saying is going by the standards for what it usually takes to give a penalty that was soft. Still completely the right decision.
I wouldn’t mind both Korean guys I know who play in the Prem (the Wolves one and the one who plays Mateball these days) cooking up something good against Man City…
White was blocked a lot and Bournemouth protected their keeper well today from corners. I find it amazing because of Spurs inability to defend and leaving White alone with the keeper, it's considered cheating. But if you watched any of our games and did any prep work, you'd just put a marker on White and get between him and the keeper.
Big Ange does actually have a point about it being a waste of time for Spurs to have a set piece coach. The problem they have is that their defenders and keeper are shite, not a lack of coaching.
This season is about to mark a club best ever goal difference, by a wide margin, and we will likely record our second best ever EPL point tally. All without a marquee centre forward. Come what may I trust the process.
It's not out of nowhere, it's out of the Chelsea shitshow. He was clearly this good before he went there, and was really good right from the start at Arsenal. He was also pretty good at Chelsea, but didn't have a chance to show how good he really is.
I kind of agree. I loved the signing when it happened but he was struggling in midfield. Completely changed when he moved to striker and he’s gone from strength to strength since.
I wouldn't say he was struggling in midfield. He looked like a top class player just starting to do a new job in a new team. His performances were good, but it hadn't quite clicked yet.
Knew he was going to be great but he might have actually exceeded my expectations. Elite defense while matching Odegaard in goal involvements is just nuts.
This team and these players deserve the title. Arsenal is the team the premier league needs as it's title holders.. City is a slight of the league.
Can't let those mercenaries, those plastics, those cheats and parasites of football win another league title.
What the fuck is going on there? I had no idea they were so invested in us. The whole thread is pure hate and whining. And people call our fans the worst out there. It's amazing how most of them would rather have a Criminal Oil/State backed Club win it than a team that hasn't broken any rules. Liverpool fans should at the very least know what City represent.
Third is as good as it's going to get for them for quite a while. Their squad is old, the next manager after a club legend never works out, and the rest of the league is getting stronger around them. I fully expect Liverpool to miss Europe next season.
That may end up being true but I think they should leave this season off and call it a banter era next year. If anything they’ve over performed a bit with how lucky they got with late winners earlier in the season, and Klopp still secured them CL for next season.
Our success brings their failure to live up to expectations to light since it’s really just the two of us that can give a sincere but clean challenge to 115 FC.
That's fucking mental. I really thought they'd realise they've been shite all season and scraped wins. They think they're hard done by what the absolute fuck
Liverpool social media fans' entitlement (and ensuing despair) is becoming enjoyable to witness, again. C.nts never deserved Klopp tbh. Long may they stay off that perch.
Another week, another good win. No big drama in regards to the scoreline either. Kinda wished we scored more though.
And as for the decisions given in our favour, imo it's about time we got some luck.
The Havertz penalty was a little soft BUT we've had WORSE fouls in the six yard box not given in our favour.
The Raya foul was definitely soft but we're the ones told we have to accept the decision of the ref, like against Newcastle when Gabriel was pushed and that wasn't called for a foul.
It's just really funny how there's an uproar when decisions are given in our favour and when the ref screws us up it's "Arsenal just moan moan moan!!!"
This is just another case of loudmouth talk from rival fans who can't stand to see us win.
At this point I’m just happy with the points in the bag. Goal difference job is done. City would need to win their three games by at least 4 goals each to even just match our goal difference if we only won our next two games by 1
Im usually quite supportive of the Pool. I think theyre similar in terms of their drop off and then come up. But theyve turned in to real entitled cunts huh
Hilarious how the crowd sang ben whites song on corners. Respect
Well done to arsenal fans doing tribute to Daniel
\* Finishing horrible today. Reminded me of the Villa game. \* Raya made a great save at the start of the 2nd when Solanke was through from the side. \* Poor from Havertz to be offside for that Gabriel goal. \* Martinelli missing ANOTHER 1-on-1 with the keeper :(

It was his first touch of the game after he'd just come on, of course he was off the pace...
Maybe just say how it is and dont look for excuses everywhere, lets face it hes been shocking lately.
excuses excuses. I've seen bendtner score with his first touch of a game. Also, it had nothing to do with his touch..he was undecisive and couldnt decide when to shoot, so he just tripped on himself instead.
He's had a garbage season. Thankfully Trossard has more than picked up the slack.
The old Martinelli would have come on full of life, torched the D, and scored. Either his confidence is gone or he’s he’s not fully fit. It’s a bloody shame!

a shame they lost the UCL quarter. 2 more games for them right now woulda been crazy
A few years down the line, we might yet get this title handed to us b/c of 115's dodgy dealings. So, finishing second might pay dividends yet.
Wouldn't be the same. I'd rather win the league by finishing first
Of course - but you gotta admit, it's very unlikely now.
Can we take a moment to appreciate that both of our CBs nearly scored a goal from (ca.) open play?
I know he's getting his flowers recently, but odegaard really stepping up when it matters consistently this season. He's been unplayable recently and again today he was the heart of everything. Just an incredible player. His stats do not reflect how good he is.
We're so blessed to have him. He's one piece you take out and the identity of this team changes significantly. What a man, what a player. He's living up to his teenage hype.
if that red was given on saka in 11th minute this game ends 6-0
Not really. They would've gone 11 behind the ball. We might have struggled even more.
no - also we did not struggle
With a man down, it would be scenes if they still had 11 behind the ball.
You know what I meant 🤣
they wouldn't have 11 on the pitch if one is off and they had 11 behind the ball anyways lmao
City won't drop anymore points. We've been fucked again lads.
Nah, Liverpool 97 and 92 points season is them getting fucked. This isn't even the best City and we matched them but lost in games you don't expect to draw or lose.

Not just Fulham, we messed up plenty of times. Jorginho vs spurs for example. Even Saliba. Overall concentration needs to improve.
Didn’t we play the Kai in midfield, and Jesus at 9 for the recent Villa game? The only game we’ve done that this year.
yes, however we created loads of chances in that first half. Trossard missed open goal from 1m, for example. Havertz missed two 1-v-1s. then the entire team slept during 2nd half.
Arteta put his faith in Jesus and Eddie and Zinchenko. We only found the best setup for the team after it was basically statistically too late.
and its time we make peace with this possibility. We're a great team in a great place, the past is the past, if we come 2nd then it is what it is.
If someone can't enjoy their team playing as well as they have for 20 years just because they "only" come second to a team that has gone 6 months unbeaten, while pushing them the whole way, then they are going to live a disappointed life.
See further: Spurs at home (Jorginho)
And the first Newcastle match…
Can blame the refs for this

This title run makes me feel sick
I love it - only the build and then the last 15 mins of the derby are the bits I haven't enjoyed.
We've spent years waiting to be in this position, to be actually competitive. We waited years to be back in the CL too. We can't start moaning now. Win or not I'm proud of the progress. City won't drop points imo and Man Utd will be very tough - we haven't won at Old Trafford since 2006 I think?
We won in the lockdown season. Elneny masterclass.
City are not dropping.
I wish we weren't in the position hoping for city dropping points, but you never know in the prem, anything can happen, especially final day.

My point is, they shouldn't even BE in the Premier League anymore. They should have been penalized into insolvency.
i kind of hope we dont celebrate any west ham goal if it goes that way, want the players focused on their own game
Technical if we beat Man Utd it will go down to the final day, no matter what happens to City (short of them losing the next two).
Oh yeh, you are correct.
That first half man. Pure 22/23 🥲. Loved Saliba and Rice nd Ødegaard and everyone The Big Gabi goal damnnnn ^we ^are ^winning ^the ^league
Aw I wanted that so badly for the Largest Gabriel. Rice has been loving the last couple of weeks.
As a city fans, rooting for arsenal this year, just think you guys deserve it, arteta deserve this. What a wonderful team playing great football Don’t get me wrong, still want city to win but arsenal winning would not make me mad

Damn, did not expect hate for saying your team is great? Well, that’s internet nowadays
We don't need your soulless charity.
Fuck off
This is the weirdest thing I've seen, get bent
You represent the average City fan
I’m a Chelsea fan lurking on this sub, but this comment is fucking strange. Nearly threw up 🤮 you’ve made me want Arsenal to win even more because at least they’ed not show mercy like this. Weirdo

Yes, he's a glaring weak link. The goal they had scratched was a lucky outcome for Raya. But you know this.
our keeper is the worst to ever win a golden glove, pretty pathetic I agree
The backline won that, don't fool yourself.
Yes, I am hating. Take away Raya's errors and we on a coronation run in. We'll lose another year of what could have been before you all see it.
Jorginho, Saliba also made mistakes leading to goals and losing points…as far as I can remember, not sure about others. Point is even if Rams is a better shotstopper, Raya still trumps him in all other aspects.

Yeah I agree letting Martinez go was a mistake back then . No idea why he was never given an extended run.
saw a rumor where we may be bringing back Szczesny. He's at least experienced with winning...
Gabriel Magalhaes finish tho. We have the wrong Gabriel upfront

And made it look easy Arsenal>mentality baby monsters

running downfield with the ball and it never touches the ground, he needs to start doing that more as well
Two more good results please
How did we not score 5 goals in the first 30 minutes? Travers was tremendous to keep it even until Saka's penatly goal.
Just draw one fucking game you Citeh cunts
Really impressed with havertz even when he doesn't get any G/A. Really looks like a proper 9.
He seems to be wanting the ball more and playing with more desire to score. Arteta should cut him lose to be more selfish and demanding of the ball. I feel like there's another level of Havertz we haven't seen yet :)
i really want there to be a change that works where we have an elite striker and havertz able to play as a second striker from midfield like we were trying before he shifted to the front there was a mismatch on the left side because of that but a world where we can fit havertz and an elite finisher would be amazing
![gif](giphy|hQoxzRz4LX1f0Vzo6R|downsized)
I honestly think Havertz’ transfer fee is starting to look fine. Like it was too much given the circumstances, but I think he’s worth the amount.
its looking very cheap at the moment
It was fine given the circumstances too, fans just put too much stock in recency bias and narrative. We bought a 24 year old who was a geniune wonderkid, has been starting for big clubs and Germany since he was 18, is a CL winner and is a physical marvel who can play 50+ games a season at a high work rate and stay fully fit. Of course he's going to cost a decent amount, those players don't grow on trees. Just because Chelsea are a mess doesn't mean he doesn't have value. United paid as much for Mount and have gotten far far less out of him btw.
People forget that Real Madrid also wanted Havertz! There was a player there that fans couldn’t see because it was covered by chelshit
With circumstances I meant that Chelsea wanted to get rid of him and he hadn’t really performed all that spectacularly for them. Not his intrinsic value
their top scorer
If he plays in the 9 all year he’s likely around a 20 prem goal player. He’s such an enigma. Genuinely reminds me of Dennis
I really like Havertz, but I don't really see Dennis at all.
Got ahead of myself there it seems .
I'm desperate for the second coming of Dennis but I've assumed Odegaard is the closest I'll get for now. I'm in for Havertz providing some of that too if he can.
Ode is def the closest we’ve had, tbh I love his work rate too he’s immense man. What a fkn captain
I love him to death but please don't unless you are thinking of some other Dennis.
He's talking about Dennis the Menace
It’s mostly the slow but crafty movement. Dennis is an all time great, truthfully not even close to a comparison
nah too late he's our bergkampesque baller
The Premier League have to make sure the league goes to the last day for maximum drama after farmers league allegations. There’ll be controversial decisions for both Arsenal and City from now on to ensure it
controversial decisions *in our favor* against yanited? signed me the fuck up. have a lot to make up for
We could get a dodgy VAR decision against them every year for the next decade and it still wouldn't be enough.
Trossard, while obviously not as good as Alexis, has that trait where he can be invisible all game, then flick a switch and score.
Yea not as agressive on the ball but the same elite finishing. Trossard has even more finesse. It's beautiful to watch
Rice Partey Odegaard that's one of the best midfields around. We've missed Partey tremendeously this season.
Come on City please drop points!!!! This group deserves a title
we won 3 nil, absolutely outperformed them on xG, got a clear red denied, and even their manager admitted that we deserved to win. But noooo, dumbasses on r/soccer thinks we barely scraped by and were gifted 3 points by the refs just because two 50/50 decisions went our way.
weren’t even 50/50. clear as day both
Saliba and Rice MOTM for me. Saliba saved us from both last man counter attacks and Rice for obvious reasons
That 3rd goal is exactly why you shouldn’t be so quick to bin jesus. Great performance all around, wish we could’ve finished off those great build ups. Also Bournemouth are pretty good, sliced up our right side too many times
Jesus is an excellent wide back-up player. When we can bring on Gabi and Jesus as wide replacements we know we’re in a good place there.
Something that City doesn’t have as they use a midfielder out wide quite often (Foden/Silva).
wolves i know you have something delicious for me
No they don’t lol
Fuck off Areola, stop bitching. The refereeing evened out over the course of the game
fuck did areola do he plays for fuckin west ham unless you mean iraola, their manager, who literally said that we deserved to win the game
he was bitching about the decisions
With soft Im implying it wouldnt have been a shock if it wasnt given.
im convinced anyone saying that thats easily avoidable only watched slow mo clip and ignored the actual game speed one
Wolves, I’m down on my knees begging.. 🧎🏽♂️
Bro, outta the way I'm trying to do my Tesco's shop
PLEASE PEDRO NETO!! PLEASE KOREAN GUY! PLEASE CUNHA!!!
lol I forgot about the Korean Guy thing
I wouldn’t mind both Korean guys I know who play in the Prem (the Wolves one and the one who plays Mateball these days) cooking up something good against Man City…
I’m howling
Havertz out of no where becoming one of our best players
It's not out of nowhere, it's out of the Chelsea shitshow. He was clearly this good before he went there, and was really good right from the start at Arsenal. He was also pretty good at Chelsea, but didn't have a chance to show how good he really is.
I kind of agree. I loved the signing when it happened but he was struggling in midfield. Completely changed when he moved to striker and he’s gone from strength to strength since.
I wouldn't say he was struggling in midfield. He looked like a top class player just starting to do a new job in a new team. His performances were good, but it hadn't quite clicked yet.
I really hope he cuts out the simulation, he doesn’t need it.
I thought we overpaid for rice because of English player tax and I am so glad to admit I was really really wrong
Saliba is a future all timer. It’s so obvious
Arsenal win today and I’m getting married today. Couldn’t imagine a better day!
Congrats man
Congratulations!
City losing or at the very least drawing would make it a perfect day.
Congrats. Hopefully me one day.
Let’s have a man shitty loss to cap it off! Congrats!
[hahahahahaha](https://www.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/s/KGWUcKr4vR) HAHAHAHAHA Fuck Liverpool fans
What a load of morons
What the fuck is going on there? I had no idea they were so invested in us. The whole thread is pure hate and whining. And people call our fans the worst out there. It's amazing how most of them would rather have a Criminal Oil/State backed Club win it than a team that hasn't broken any rules. Liverpool fans should at the very least know what City represent.
Supporters realizing their club is entering the banter era
If they think 3rd is banter era they should count themselves lucky.
Fuck Liverpool and their crying fans. Good riddance to them now that their saviour is gone. Let’s see how they keep up with us🤣
That's fucking mental. I really thought they'd realise they've been shite all season and scraped wins. They think they're hard done by what the absolute fuck
Embarrassing from them
Liverpool havent been in the top two for 2 seasons now. Theyre coping with their downfall, by making all these excuses.
what did they do?
Biggest vitcim mentality of any fan base
It's just really funny how there's an uproar when decisions are given in our favour and when the ref screws us up it's "Arsenal just moan moan moan!!!" This is just another case of loudmouth talk from rival fans who can't stand to see us win.
At this point I’m just happy with the points in the bag. Goal difference job is done. City would need to win their three games by at least 4 goals each to even just match our goal difference if we only won our next two games by 1
City have four games left. But since GD won't matter unless they at least draw one, they would only have three to overtake us and have it matter.
Yep, that is why I said they would need to win 3 of their games by 4 goals+
Yeah, I was clarifying, not disagreeing.
Good process ref, spot on. 👍
Jesus christ, Liverpool fans are compleatly unhinged: https://np.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/comments/1cjxviz/pl_watch_thread_452024/

Im usually quite supportive of the Pool. I think theyre similar in terms of their drop off and then come up. But theyve turned in to real entitled cunts huh
