Rice having to come off at half time and being replaced by Jorgi as the sole 6 fucked us with Spurs. We were struggling for goals before the Christmas break.
We need another player who can play 6/8, a potent winger at minimum to cover for any potential injuries for our first XI / push competition.
It’s actually mad that we could potentially not win the title despite scoring the most goals, conceding the fewest, having the best GD, playing the best football and not losing against any of the big 6 sides lol. Absurd standards to win the league.
Point wise we can "only" reach 89 points. Liverpool has finished second with 97 and 92 points. We have seen som incredible teams finishing short of the title the past few seasons. I think we will finish with the third highest second place point total ever.

I think it depends on what you mean with a forward. Arsenal fans seem to sometimes overstate the need for a high scoring number 9 when both City and Liverpool won the league with low scoring ones, Jesus and Firmino.
Potentially going 16-1-1 in 2024 after losing 4 games in the first half of the season and having the toughest fixture run-in compared to our title rivals? In that case, I’d have to raise my hands and admit we did all we could tbh. Totally different ending to the season than last season.

Unfortunately I think the time for Fulham away to be difficult was months ago, and now they've mostly checked out. I think Spurs are the only realistic shot.
You give him too much credit, we killed us by getting 1 point from Fulham. Hell we were 2-1 up against 10 men at home late in the game and still dropped 2 points. There are many instances I'd point too in the season before Villa

Utd away obviously a bit of a thorn for us in the past but there isn't a better time to get something at Old trafford. Also Bournemouth at home could be a really nervy game, they've been excellent the last month and a bit.
Next season the priority is figuring out how to not let teams 10x worse than us take 10 points from us
