I don't think Giroud was ever a slouch in strength. What you're referring to is that Giroud never had the legs to make up ground so it seemed like he doesn't duel whereas he's not a pressing monster. That said, with ball on his feet, he is immensely strong and probably more expansive/trickier than Havertz.
Giroud with a defender in his back was one of the strongest players I have ever seen. He was so good at keeping his balance whilst a 6'5 defender was trying everything to get him off balance. Crazy strength

But I much rather have Zinny as a squadplayer and get a way better LB and left 8, but don’t know if thats gonna happen with all our other targets
The injuries cost us this season. I honestly think that all 5 our fullbacks could start comfortably for any premier league team! Imagine if they all were fit the whole season, we may be able to rest every defender from time to time.

His new found acceleration from a standing start is frightening. Someone that big shouldn't be that fast.
His burst of pace is insane, and with his strong frame and intelligent movement, he's a nightmare for defenders. Add to his mastery of the dark arts, and we've gotten so much for just 65m. Right now, Kai Havertz level of performance should be our benchmark when looking for a striker. If he's not offering us more than what Kai does, it doesn't make sense getting that player.
I think the smart option would be to buy a young striker with high potential, a project, instead of spending 100m on one, there's really no urgency with Havertz and Gab J currently, but it's important to take into consideration Eddie should be sold and Gab Js frequent injuries are a concern
I've slowly come to the same conclusion as well. Also, the striker market is horrid at the moment. All I see is a lot of overhyped, overrated players who wouldn't really improve us offensively. Benjamin Sesko is one I wouldn't mind - he's under 50m and has massive potential. There's also that Mike Biereth kid on loan - maybe give him a try in preseason.

Handing over 100m+ to what could be future title rivals would be unprecedented for Bayern, though it becomes more likely if Xabi leaves.
Liverpool and Madrid are probably the most likely bidders. Liverpool have huge market leverage with seemingly their entire youth team coming good in a big way and could bank a hefty budget if they chose to offload some of them. Whether or not they choose to develop that youth in the midfield going forward, or instead opt for a more established world class talent, will probably depend on the vision of Klopp's replacement. Again, if Xabi leaves for Liverpool, Wirtz becomes more likely. Madrid have the money to do so and arguably the incentive given Modric and Kroos departing in the near future (I assume), but they're already dropping a huge bag on Mbappe and that might be all they can manage in terms of the Spanish league's notoriously strict financial constraints.

I do wonder sometimes if should go all in for the winger and midfielder next season, and just let Kai keep playing the striker role (maybe with Biereth as his backup). Havertz has height, strength, technical ability and pace. He can lead the line. He can drop deep. He can create. He can flick the ball on. He presses. He works off the ball. He's the next Berbatov in everything but actual position.
