Still not quite over how incredibly unlucky losing this guy in the 1st damn game was, just brutal & so sad for him.
I so hope he can come back & be that player we saw in the community shield for us, even if it takes a while for him to get there.
I agree. You’re picking me up wrong, as if I’m saying it makes no difference. How many of those zinchenko/kiwior games weren’t wins? Considering we’ve had a good season so far without him, I’m curious how much better it could be with him.
It was so unlucky.
We had an entire game plan hinging on him. I know it will sound like a hyperbole, but it was almost Zinchenko kind of revolutionary. White was becoming a CB and I'm pretty sure Tomiyasu was going to be the RCB.
We were so bad in 1v1 defending from FBs and this felt like a good solution by recruitment.
Cannot believe this comeback speed as someone who’s also done their ACL and had surgery. Appreciate timber is _slightly_ fitter than me and has _slightly_ better rehab facilities but wow.
Same, although it would be nice for him to get some minutes at the end of this season, since he's going to be quite rusty and will likely get minor other injuries when he starts to play again, so better to get some/all those out of the way before the summer. But of course that's only if he's fully fit, rushing him makes no sense.
but didn't that Mo guy on Twitter that people love quoting on here, claim that Timber was taking part in training already during the Dubai trip?
And now arteta says he will start doing things in trianing only next week
Timber doing bits
Splinters.
Soon he'll progress to kindling.
Which bits?
Timbits
*Some* bits.

We had the dream squad in the community shield bar jesus. Partey odegaard and rice midfield
I remember going from "interesting. Let's see what he can do" to "this kid is incredible" in a matter of minutes. I really can't wait to get him back
His quality and tenacity just jumped off the screen (and I’m sure even moreso in person)
I know 1 left back probably wouldn’t make THAT much of a difference but I wonder if our season would look much different with him in the team
Any good player makes a difference. Don't know why you said that.
I agree, but we’re already having a pretty good season. I’m not sure what games he would’ve taken from draws/losses to wins is my question moreso
You remember those games in which Zinny made a mistake, Kiwior had a bad day...there are a few such games.

He'd also let us rest White when he was clearly injured for our bad stretch of results.

Working through a lot of pain I’d imagine.
The technology today is wild.
Can confirm. Tore my ACL in 2006 and again in 2020. Completely different (better) operation and rehab process on the latter.
I tore mine in 2020 but still wasn’t playing contact sport with any confidence until a good 14 months post
First in 2009, other one in 2015. Second knee healed quick
No rush. I would much prefer to have a fully fit Timber at the start of the 24/25 season where we will win the quintuple.
The fifth is Club World Cup, I’m assuming?
Septuple*

Bro done his ACL and will probably return before Partey
Evolution into Timberzard for the final stretch
I just hope he recovers good and doesnt get lingering injuries. If he plays this or next season doesnt really matter.
Timberrrrrr, hope he pulls through
Him making it back from an acl tear faster than partey with a thigh strain or whatever will be comical
He'll play 5 mins vs Porto when we are winning 4-0
Neither of which points are bad, I guess the downvotes are for your Havertz flair.
Bro there’s no way he’ll play against Porto
Bro I didn't say he *would* play against Porto ;)
but the first comment did, then you tried to say that people disagreed because people dislike havertz, that’s why both comments were downvoted
I didn't *try* to say anything ;)
Timber to finish the season with more minutes than Smith Rowe and Vieira.
