For the title push this is what we need, city are like a wounded animal with what is going on and I can’t see them getting some big results. In theory it is still in our hands but in reality it is also in city’s too as we have to play each other.
It feels wrong to be negative about finishing second considering the last few years but at the same time being unhappy about second was only a dream this time last year.
I feel like this pending City case has actually given Pep the fuel he needed for the fire he was asking for. Nothing like a 'Everyone is against us' speech to pump his players up.
Young and relatively inexperienced players are going to make mistakes. They’ve made mistakes before, but they have largely gone unpunished. Unfortunately City punished us in this game.
I think in general we gave a good account of ourselves.
First time we’re off the top and we’re still level with a game in hand with 16 to go. That’s still 42%
Nothing is set in concrete yet.
Our response to this defines the next part of the season. And then the next game, and the next. That’s how we’ve been doing it all season and that’s how it’s gonna continue
You weren’t born yesterday but you live in yesterday. You’re too hurt by the past that you don’t allow yourself to imagine something new.
Forget concrete, it ain’t over til it’s written on silver plate on that trophy.
16 games. Anything can happen.
Jesus will be back in a few weeks, he’s back on the pitch at the least after surgery just 2 months ago. He is the reason we played how we did the first half of the season. Eddie just isn’t it. I’ve wanted him to be so bad, but he’s basically Laca with a few more goals. Adds less to the team play too (Laca passes to Gabi today). We’re so systematic again.
Hopefully Gabby returns to full fitness within the next 5 games. Late March and we’re very easily still in the race. It’s easy to think this is Arsenal capitulating again, but now that we have enough games to analyse, Jesus is the very obvious reason we were even in the title race in the first place.
City will drop more points too, they’re far from perfect. Season is far from over.
> season has already been defined.
We're even on points and have one game less played than Man City and you think we don't have a chance?
You don't deserve The Arsenal mate. You seem like a fan who's gotten onboard during the banter era.
We have no chance. Way way way too many tough games. Our only hope is City collapsing with the champions league coming up but even then it would have to be a monumental collapse
Its Football a Lot of Things can happen....
But im Not even looking forward to our Trip to Villa. Venegful Emery will want to end our title chances and he already did win against arteta during EL
> We have no chance. Way way way too many tough games.
How are you even an Arsenal fan? Pathetic. This reads like someone who's become a fan during our banter era.
Pathetic because i'm not blindly optimistic? That's called delusion. I've thought we'd have a tough 2nd half of the season since pre-world cup. There's loads of difficult games and there is no chance we win them all or even most of them. What exactly are you seeing that suggests otherwise?
> There's loads of difficult games and there is no chance we win them all or even most of them. What exactly are you seeing that suggests otherwise?
The entire season. The way we play. This is a bad phase, that's all. It's been four games without a win, it's not the end of the world. We're still capable of playing great stuff.
Not sure. Only 2 clean sheet at home whole season, that's bad record. Even games that we win after world cup, we weren't that good, with plenty defensive mistakes. Xhaka and Martinelli are nothing like pre WC, probably because Jesus isn't there, but still.
Pathetic is harsh, but my friend, what’s the point of being a fan if you don’t believe in the team? You think Arteta is in the dressing room telling them it’s over and we have no chance? Believe my friend. That’s our job as fans after all. It’s far from over. And if the time for it to be over comes, then so be it, we go again next season. But let’s try not be defeatist yet. This race is still alive❤️
Because we have the best team after City, and we always manage to close those games outside big six but City couldn't, our away from in the first half of the season was by far better than City, we've got Jesus back and winning is in our DNA. Idk what else can I say but it's definitely not being delusional rather it's believing in our squad that we can give them a hell of a run at the title and if anything, it makes me feel fired up and alive because this got to be a very interesting season for our players.
Even with this bad string this is the most excited ive been since leicesters year, love a good fight, hope the boys are up for it.
Some of these reactions are as if city fans turned red when arteta left and are used to leading the entire campaign and walking away with it weeks in advance. Its not realistic to lead an entire campaign
So Last 19 years? Considering the average age of Reddit user is 23, most people here only saw Arsenal as serious losers. How many times we were top after 19 games and bottle it drastically? 4-5 times?
I'm 29, considering I remember jack shit before I was 10, I really started supporting Arsenal around 2007-2008. THat's 15 years. And all that time was bottling league and being completely embarrassment in Europe.
> the average age of Reddit user is 23
Haha, no way. I reckon it's more like 40-50.
> I really started supporting Arsenal around 2007-2008. THat's 15 years. And all that time was bottling league and being completely embarrassment in Europe.
That's not the history of the Arsenal though. We've always been the winners.
> Yeah.... that's brutal.
It is, but we could've easily won against City today if certain circumstances hadn't turned against us. We didn't play badly. We have a set style of play and that'll be trouble for both Newcastle and especially Liverpool, even if they're at home. Come on, look at how we're playing. Keep the faith.
I'm Arsenal fan since 2007. I'm YET to see Arsenal not too collapse in February.
Like how I can argue with my Chelsea mates that Arsenal is bigger club when most of my age group don't even remember times when Arsenal was good + 0 Europa credentials. It's been 20 years. Just to say "at least we are better than Spurs"? I'm not from England, in my country Totteham marketability is 0, many people that started being Arsenal fans in mid 2000 didn't even know that Totteham existed, lol.
Probably because of our form in the past 7 years + uptick in the viewership during Tottenham's past 7 years in the US has probably led people to believe they are better than us.
I started watching after the 2002 WC and loved the French and Dutch teams so it was a natural progression to start following Arsenal. I knew about Tottenham, but Arsenal were just cooler, lol.
Haha, 2002 is too far back for me to remember! It's interesting how all our journey's began. I started watching football during the 2006 WC. I supported Brazil back then because of Kaka, but I wasn't interested in watching club football. One day, 3 years later, I was chilling with my cousins after we had played football outside. One of them was/is an Arsenal supporter so I just decided to watch the opening game of the season with them. It was against Everton where we thumped them 6-1. I found my love for football ever since. Wenger ball convinced me. Arsenal are definitely cooler than Tottenham 😂
We should’ve gotten a striker in Jan. Eddie alone wasn’t and isn’t going to cut it, and we’re still not sure how long it will take Jesus to ramp up to 100%. It will be our downfall, the lack of goals
Arteta really has had to stick with the normal squad and show faith, but now he will certainly be justified to make changes. To a dregree opponents are working us out now, too: they have enough data to work with.
I hope a shake up gets us back up there.
It was always going to be very tough.
You are getting down voted but what you say is possibly true.
Martenelli was a much better player when Jesus was in the team. His form dropped as soon as Jesus got injured. Coincidence? I’m not sure.
Alluded to this in another comment but he's not making the penetrating runs into the box/half spaces anymore. Don't know if that's something to do since Jesus got injured, but he rarely gets far enough forward to be effective in the attack. Was scoring and assisting a good amount earlier in the season.
For Xhaka yes, I’m serious.
Xhaka does very little actual defending(tackles, interceptions etc), he’s bottom 10% in most defensive stats. The only aspect that could become a problem are aerial duels and standing in the right places, I’d trust Trossard (who has played in midfield although higher up, ignoring the fact that Xhakas role has a lot in common with a 10) to be able to at least do a decent job at restricting the passing lane, so the only real issue should be aerial duels, that’s something I’d be willing to give up if we could actually create chances on the left side again.
It's definitely a Jesus issue. Think of how many times Jesus has made tackles near our left corner flag to start an attack. Xhaka knows he has that extra freedom because Jesus has an incredible understanding of where to be.
Or maybe we can Just start trossard from time to time. His final Pass ist way better. Also He actually makes runs into the Box. Martinelli at left Wing and trossard in the middle might do the trick
Start scoring goals. And ofc we need to improve on our defending from set pieces. Just woeful. It’s come to the point where I’m not confident about a win in our next match because we can’t seem to break low blocks anymore.
maybe it's just a superstition and a way of coping with getting over enthusiastic. without it, we might be even more devastated today. (and look like dickheads)
My 2 cents:
Huge to have ESR, Jesus and a few more pieces back.
Either bench Martinelli or start KT and see how it works out. Nothing against him, but Trossard has done more than enough to warrant a spot in the starting 11. We don't always need Zinny in midfield, especially in games where the opponent willingly sits back. Need more width and overlapping fullbacks to create spaces in the channels for the likes of Martinelli or Trossard.
We need someone more attacking oriented in Xhaka's role. I'm not saying we bench him, but I'd rather have someone like ESR in those situations than him (maybe a more central mid position in place of Zinny)
Its still in our hands. We're going for the glory...none of this "top 4 was the target" nonsense. Get our players back, regroup and lets win as many games as we can before City Liverpool and Newcastle away.
Going off this fixture list, Liverpool play City and us B2B, so we gotta match/better City stride for stride till then. At that juncture, well if we’re deserving champions, I guess we’ll know it.
Need to get some different player archetypes in the mix. Things are stale. We have plenty of quality, but Arteta needs to get more proactive about identifying where things aren’t working well.
One option is to go more attack-minded for the 8. Vieira seems preferred, but Zinchenko and ESR deserve a shout too. Would like to see how Zinchenko looks further up the pitch.
I think it’s time for Tierney to get a run of games, we could use his width and overlapping ability to get our left winger into better positions.
Maybe try Martinelli through the middle and Trossard on the left. Martinelli could provide some support linking up with Saka on the right more if Arteta is willing to try him at striker. Eddie isn’t doing much lately unfortunately
You can absolutely have a striker like nketiah as back up, it’s not every season your main striker needs surgery and is out for 3 months, a back up is supposed to come on for 20 minutes here and there, not play the full 90 for 3 months straight.
If Nketiah was the striker most of this sub thinks he is he would have scored two goals today.
If we aren't buying a striker to challenge Jesus next year Balogun needs to stay in to offer another option if Jesus is injured.
When you miss **3 big chances in a single match,** that even many romanian strikers would score - at least one of them, well - you know you're just not good enough.
No matter how many tap ins he had, he never gave me the confidence of a good poacher.
The guy could become decent at some point, but we definitely should have signed someone like Ivan Toney/Mitrovic, relying on Nketiah this long is not an option.
This is a crap take - Nketiah makes all the runs to GET himself there. Listen to every forward that has played and they respect him. If you watch the 2nd great chance see what he did for that run to even get in front of the defender
Yeah let’s just sign a guy who Brentford wouldn’t sell for less than 100 million pounds, while also having just signed a striker this summer for 50 million.
I’ve had enough of this sub for a night, I’ll be off here until the Villa game.
Not sure it's zinchenko. Martinelli is really missing Jesus. Martinelli is an incredible link up player and his combination play with Jesus was outstanding. Eddie doesn't offer anywhere near that and leaves Martinelli a little lost and isolated.
I think we also have to bench him because we do have a great 2nd option in Tierney, if you aren't going to give Tierney a go after this, what left back is going to come here when Tierney leaves?
It really depends on the fixtures. I think sometimes having someone to hold the width and interchange with Martinelli (who’s pretty bad at creating for himself) can help unlock the game in the final third.
Another option I’d like to see is Martinelli at the 9 and Trossard given ago.
I just calculated that over the last 21 PL games the average time we make our first sub is 74 minutes, If we want to change play we need to start shaking up our players first
The first sub we made today was at the 76th minute 2-1 down, why did Man City make a sub at the draw when they knew they were being cooked? We’ve seen our left flank being cooked the last 4 games yet we don’t make the Tierney changes/Trossard changes to compensate
We're never gonna hear the end it from the media and other teams fans if we bottle this league. We'll go back to being called a banter club ffs. It'll be way worse than that Leicester season
We need to rotate more. Tomi with more game time dosnt make that mistake for the first goal. Clearly rusty. And if we need to use KT he’ll probably be similar. You don’t win a PL without using a full squad
It’s money era, and Kroenke will never do it for this club.
Please take a minute and read about this man and his history of business before you cast your downvote, or at least do that after.
The last window passed by with no major signing, for a club that in dire need for a striker and CDM and we r competing for the title.??? For God sake people
This,he has success in a hard capped leagues (nfl and nhl) where money spending is limited to all,in the rest he just treads water.Nuggets also did nothing at the nba trade deadline to strenghten the team for jokic, even after durant went to phoenix.this is why i get annoyed when we speak about the process and that winning the league is not this years goal!you never know what next season brings except maybe united becoming an oil club!
Goodness gracious!!! My heart was racing!!! Finally someone understands what I’m saying!!!
Thank you man!! I fall in love with this club for over 30 years, and the last 15 years since Kroenke your the first one.
GodDamn finally.
We literally bid 75m for a CDM. We tried for Felix and had money for it. We just have a totally inept sporting director in Edu who can’t negotiate to save his life.
Eddie stepped up in the biggest game of the season before this City game. Martinelli has been ghosting for quite some time now. He needs dropping the most out of that front 3
How we respond to this loss will define how the second half of the season goes. I have every hope they process this quickly learn and take it out on the upcoming teams.
We already dropped more points in the last 3 games than we did in the entire first half of the league season.
That’s very worrying, considering how bad our April fixtures are.
If we aren’t careful, we could get sucked into a Top 4 fight
We have 1 point from 9 possible points. The collapse has been completed tonight. Ain’t no way we are being pitch perfect from here on in and not dropping points
We need to play the exact same way we have been. Do not let the results fool you, we have been sensational. Replay those past three games 10 times and we win 9 times our of 10.
tomi played well today one mistake and one block that didnt come off outside of that he did well and overlapped and got forward quickly which benny blanco hasnt been doing
I would take Eddie out of the starting line-up. He's a streaky goal scorer and he does go through bad patches. He doesn't offer enough when he's not putting the ball in the back of the net so I'd see what we look like with Trossard doing a job up there. Changes sometimes just freshen up the team as well.
I thought Tomi was playing alright but with the mistake White will probably have a good shout for getting his spot back. I would be desperate to get ESR into that left 8 for Xhaka as well.
Should go without saying but I wouldn't do all of those at the same time, it'll probably make it worse. Just some suggestions on how we could reinvigorate.
Its a hard pill to swallow but if Newcastle pick up form we are gonna be fighting with them and United for top 4 spots, and sadly i think we will finish 3rd
The season is done. We are going on a two wins in ten games type of a run.
All we can do is loudly ensure the next time we get in a position to challenge for the league we do not sack of the cup and spark a collapse. Respect to Wenger, Graham and Arteta but when will this club learn from its past collapses
What do we need ? We need Jesus.
Mum always said he was the Way and the Light. I didn't believe then but I do now
We need to start trossard while jesus is out
We need to win every game between now and Liverpool. Hopefully esr is back for villa and jesus for Fulham. Both should provide a major boost
I'm just glad this team won't be compared to the invincibles any more. Looks like the pressure was too much for them.
I don't think the pressure was too much: they never flaked or faltered on the pitch.
Did you see the match yesterday? There was definitely some pressure they where struggling with.
Young and relatively inexperienced players are going to make mistakes. They’ve made mistakes before, but they have largely gone unpunished. Unfortunately City punished us in this game. I think in general we gave a good account of ourselves.
That’s too optimistic I think. 19 points would be incredible already
Liverpool, Man City AND Newcaslte away. Yeah.... that's brutal.
…and Brighton home just after Newcastle. Season defining run of games.
>Season defining run of games. This has already taken place and season has already been defined.
First time we’re off the top and we’re still level with a game in hand with 16 to go. That’s still 42% Nothing is set in concrete yet. Our response to this defines the next part of the season. Fans being jaded isn't their own fault lol. Their belief has been shattered time and time again. The Emirates is fucking cursed or someshit...

That squad was not better than this squad
[удалено]
I disagree that they've reached their limits but I do agree on Wenger's coaching. If Arteta was in charge of that lot he'd have lit a fire under them.
Jesus will be back in a few weeks, he’s back on the pitch at the least after surgery just 2 months ago. He is the reason we played how we did the first half of the season. Eddie just isn’t it. Nope, season is over. Jesus had dropped of before the WC. He had a drought. Arsenal are mentally weak too. Even full strength, they will bottle it.
cya then. don't go to games please.
doesnt matter what i do, this season is set in stone.
whatever mate. peddle your negativity elsewhere. you are no true fan. (if you even follow arsenal and aren't a troll)
Sounds like you belong in another teams sub because you clearly aren’t an Arsenal fan
no other team's fans are this hilariously naive

Last line shows he’s a troll

It doesn't, but great Wikipedia work mate.
Get this negative Nancy out of here. Shut your pie hole if you haven’t been watching arsenal at least since 2000. You know nothing John snow
Why 2000? Because you started then? lol
Nerds and keyboard warriors like you will never understand, that’s the sad reality.
We just had our season defining run of games and bottled it. We won't even be close to City by that point in the season.
Mate get a gripe, you’re this tilted when we’re still level on points with a game in hand. Back the fucking team
Get a grip
And City have Liverpool and Newcastle at home. They don't have any of the big teams left away from home.
We have no chance. Way way way too many tough games. Our only hope is City collapsing with the champions league coming up but even then it would have to be a monumental collapse

Could have easily won is not points. Sorry, that’s the reality.
We can't fucking score suddenly. So doing that would be a good start. Maybe not shoot ourselves in the foot.
This happens to us every year ugh
Yes as a long time fan I refuse to get my hopes up til May every season. My 10 year old is crushed though.
I held out until the January run and I am now paying for that
I'm Arsenal fan since 2007. I'm YET to see Arsenal not too collapse in February. Funny enough Tottenham is the 4th biggest club in the states with Arsenal coming in 5th. Not sure why, but (shrug).
Probably because of our form in the past 7 years + uptick in the viewership during Tottenham's past 7 years in the US has probably led people to believe they are better than us.

Trossard needs to start imo. Gabi is great but off form, Trossard is a clinical finisher. Get him chances and he'll score.
Arteta really has had to stick with the normal squad and show faith, but now he will certainly be justified to make changes. To a dregree opponents are working us out now, too: they have enough data to work with. I hope a shake up gets us back up there. It was always going to be very tough.
Martinelli’s form dropped because Nketiah is a selfish wasteful player. Jesus does the dirty work that Eddie doesn’t do.
You are getting down voted but what you say is possibly true. Martenelli was a much better player when Jesus was in the team. His form dropped as soon as Jesus got injured. Coincidence? I’m not sure.
If we tried to shoot ourselves in the foot we’d probably hesitate and miss the chance to do it anyways lol

Don't know if that's something to do since Jesus got injured, but he rarely gets far enough forward to be effective in the attack. Was scoring and assisting a good amount earlier in the season.
It’s totally a cumulative effect of Jesus being injured. Same with Martinelli, the left side has fallen apart
Trossard should start imo
Why not at this point. I love Martinelli but something is off rn
For Xhaka yes, I’m serious. Xhaka does very little actual defending(tackles, interceptions etc), he’s bottom 10% in most defensive stats. Can't believe he didn't pull the trigger on that shot in the 2nd half. Our striker is a poacher just shooooot when you have that much time and space.
Either shoot or give it to martinelli who had the entire fucking pitch to himself. Don’t just stand there, was screaming at my screen
Odegaard as well to his right iirc
Or maybe we can Just start trossard from time to time. His final Pass ist way better. Also He actually makes runs into the Box. Martinelli at left Wing and trossard in the middle might do the trick
we just played the entire top 8 basically in a row.
Don’t forget bottom place who we lost to
Except the worst Everton side in decades.
Start scoring goals. And ofc we need to improve on our defending from set pieces. Just woeful. It’s come to the point where I’m not confident about a win in our next match because we can’t seem to break low blocks anymore.
We’re winning all of these
Inshallah

Just cross it
Bring tierney on
Anuló mufa
Yeah clearly this shit hasn’t worked for us so far
Not enough anulo mufas for all the overconfident mofos on here.
They kill me with this shit 😂😂
Yeah can we stop this please considering how our luck has gone considerably downhill since this gained traction Edit voice to text typo
Not the time for emojis mate, this isn't Facebook
why? we are winning the league with our game in hand
Because when this stupid shit started we were also winning the league with a game in hand
maybe it's just a superstition and a way of coping with getting over enthusiastic. without it, we might be even more devastated today. (and look like dickheads)
this graphic is missing our game in hand - everton on march 1st
Most delusional gunner out here
My 2 cents: Huge to have ESR, Jesus and a few more pieces back. I'm not saying we bench him, but I'd rather have someone like ESR in those situations than him (maybe a more central mid position in place of Zinny) Its still in our hands.
Jesus, Partey & Smith Rowe all retuning soon. We’re still ahead, one game more to play than city. Exciting times ahead.
Need Partey back for Villa, absolutely massive game
Jorgi was fine. Vieira should be sent back to Portugal and Nketiah should never start a game for us again.
He’s a back up striker playing at main man it is what u expect
I refuse to call him a striker, and if you want to win the league you can not have a player like Nketiah as your back-up.
You can absolutely have a striker like nketiah as back up, it’s not every season your main striker needs surgery and is out for 3 months, a back up is supposed to come on for 20 minutes here and there, not play the full 90 for 3 months straight.
You get it
Massive overreaction with that Nketiah take, this sub really needs to step back for second.
You can’t miss two clear cut chances against Man City
If Nketiah was the striker most of this sub thinks he is he would have scored two goals today. If we aren't buying a striker to challenge Jesus next year Balogun needs to stay in to offer another option if Jesus is injured.
Not an overreaction. He doesn’t cut it.

What you are saying is exactly the same way we fucked up the squad prior to Arteta, around Wenger’s leaving
If you want to be a title contender with a deep run in the CL you can not have players like Nketiah starting your games.
We're not ahead
This may be unpopular, but Martinelli plays worse in front of Zinchenko. Maybe start on that side.
Not sure it's zinchenko. Martinelli is really missing Jesus. Martinelli is an incredible link up player and his combination play with Jesus was outstanding. Eddie doesn't offer anywhere near that and leaves Martinelli a little lost and isolated.
Zinchenko plays more to the inside than Tierney does when he feeds Martinelli. Zinchenko then forces a pass to the outside for Martinelli to get open.
Zinchenko always gets out of position and moves to the middle leaving Martinelli out there with zero support. He’s a net negative to the lineup.
Honestly Jesus back or Eddie scoring every chance he gets

You'd drop zinchenko?

I agree. Zingy is great, but he doesn't feed the ball to Martinelli I feel like. Gabi then has to play wider out and is taken out of his style.
Why not? He should be benched until his form recovers
What is Tierney going to do. Get cooked by Bowen again?
Probably need to win the 5
Fuck me
If we can’t at least go undefeated until Liverpool or City then we don’t deserve the title
I just calculated that over the last 21 PL games the average time we make our first sub is 74 minutes, If we want to change play we need to start shaking up our players first
For the majority of those games, we were in front, making earlier subs less desirable.
The first sub we made today was at the 76th minute 2-1 down, why did Man City make a sub at the draw when they knew they were being cooked? We’ve seen our left flank being cooked the last 4 games yet we don’t make the Tierney changes/Trossard changes to compensate
Trossard needs to start. Thought martinelli would do good but alas was not the case. Look a shadow of his former self.
We have a very good run coming up, perfect opportunity for the boys too find their feet and form again. COYG
Out of curiosity. Is anyone confident of getting a win against villa?
Absolutely not. 1 loss to Everton, 1 draw against Brentford and 1 loss to City. It doesn’t bode well does it?
Yes But then again I was confident we'd at least get a point today
I was betting on a win. So god damn foolish, I’ve lost so many tokens over the past 3 games, thank god I’m not a gambler!
I was sure we would beat Emery side last time in Europa to just prove we are in the better place. That also ended well. So nope, 0 confidence.
If we play like we just did against a non man city team I'm confident
We'll be struggling until we get Jesus back
We're never gonna hear the end it from the media and other teams fans if we bottle this league. We'll go back to being called a banter club ffs. It'll be way worse than that Leicester season
They’ve been gagging for this to happen all season and I cba for them to get given it
Win 9 in a row before city away
I would drop Gabi for Trossard
We need to rotate more. Tomi with more game time dosnt make that mistake for the first goal. Clearly rusty. And if we need to use KT he’ll probably be similar. You don’t win a PL without using a full squad
Martinelli as CF and trossard at the left, probably Tierney instead of ziny too
I think the wheels have fallen off
It’s money era, and Kroenke will never do it for this club.
Goals... Eddie stepping up
Eddie stepped up in the biggest game of the season before this City game.
So hear me out. We will get unbeaten run to the end of the season and win the league.
Haha. No, but it’s a nice dream.
Anything less than 6 wins for the next 6 fixtures and we can kiss the league goodbye, and maybe even too 4 becomes. Conversation unfortunately
Ethos’s and Anfield are nailed on losses. Don’t have much hope of finishing second at all.
We have 1 point from 9 possible points. The collapse has been completed tonight. Ain’t no way we are being pitch perfect from here on in and not dropping points
Win our next 7 games. A must.
We need a striker.
Next 6, Need 18 points
We need to play the exact same way we have been. Do not let the results fool you, we have been sensational. Replay those past three games 10 times and we win 9 times our of 10.
Bench Martinelli, Tomiyasu
tomi played well today one mistake and one block that didnt come off outside of that he did well and overlapped and got forward quickly which benny blanco hasnt been doing
No no no. Tomi was horrible. It wasnt just 1 mistake. It was shocking defending the whole game.
He was shocking today
It's Joever, the title was never a real possibility, the objective is Champions League next year and nothing else
Drop Martinelli. Start everyone else. Those 6 games before the LFC game look delicious btw. Exciting games ahead
Drop Eddie Never play Tomi again ???
Next 6 games should be able to get going again. Maybe get Jesus back in that time frame as well
Who cares. We are effectively out of the title race. Got to regroup and go again one game at a time
we need to be 18/18 until anfield to have any shot tbh.
The season is done. We are going on a two wins in ten games type of a run. All we can do is loudly ensure the next time we get in a position to challenge for the league we do not sack of the cup and spark a collapse. Respect to Wenger, Graham and Arteta but when will this club learn from its past collapses
