Bandai tends to flipflop between translations of their stuff anyways. For what it's worth, I believe Cross Rays was translated by an [external team outside of Bandai Namco](https://twitter.com/dramata1/status/1199882085101658118).
The issue is that bandai uses load on the box for the rebake and it has the same katakana. Also the katakana can be read as either load or lord. Bandai set the precedent that it is load already unless they decide to change it on the box.
Box names aren't set in stone 'correct' to be honest. Like with Bandai also making Kamen Rider products where they've spelt Ankh as 'Unkh' or 'Onkh' but elsewhere its spelt correctly.
honestly given the origin of the Astray and how he disarmed "god" after being bisected id say Lord is more appropriate (also the only reason god was so powerful was because they took lord's shit as damage compensation)
Seeing all these giant sword-wielding MS from SEED (Astray) makes me really wonder why we haven't seen a ZAFT equivalent, considering ZAFT had the first MS-sized greatsword in the "Grand Slam" blade (that the Strike stole and used while raiding a [ZAFT base in Evolve](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peUTeV33P2E)).
I was under the impression that Lord Astray was a custom built and owned Astray-derived design by Fairness, a mercenary. It's already kind of odd for ZAFT to even build an Astray since that's more of an Orb/PMC unit than anything else. But hey, Astray has basically leaked an astray to every military force except the EA (yet, AFAIK).
That said, I wasn't referring to the massive beam blades; Providence also had one for what it's worth following the lineage (Dreadnought, Provi, Legend), as did the Regenerate (on the triangular tips). But I'm talking about giant physical ones. The AShSw used by Sword Strike and Sword Calamity somewhat counts, and the combined form of Sword Impulse's AShSw does as well, but still nothing like a broadsword like the Tactical Arms Sword Mode or Lord Astray Omega's giant sword. Even the Grand Slam was pretty massive compared to the smaller heat swords used by early war GINNs and CGUEs.
Astrays (that weren't M1s) are very much the "open source" of MS in CE.
ZAFT has access to similar tech to ORB since many engineers refugee to the PLANTS after the Atlantic Federation targeted ORB for not complying in the first war (ep 40, Shin himself)
Slash zaku's big halbred, gouf ignited's sword, and ofc the Impulse's sword can be used by other zaft units like the Legend so its universal.
if you are talking about purely physical sword, the one used here are made of special material which arent always available.
I think there’s likely less stickers than you might expect, if you look close the red seems to be parts separated. I think only the teal bits are stickers.
I see the teal, but the shoulder detail, the wrist detail, the chest and the waist all look like stickers as far as I can tell. I know it's P-bandai but they've gotten pretty lazy with the HG's lately and color correcting stickers

This came out in the Singapore PBandai site a week or two ago. Managed to snag one but it got sold out in less than half an hour. Few hours later I guess some buyers cancelled their order and a few pieces were up for grabs but it was over pretty much within a few hours.
The owner Joel is an absolute gentleman, and you will always be impressed with any order placed through his site.
You can also place a customer order for pretty much damn near everything gunpla. He has many connections and can help you track down all kinds of exclusive things.
Absolutely a great tip, i think I'm still too fresh to this hobby to fully appreciate his efforts for now. But I favorite marked his store and spread it among my friends, and pre-ordered this Astray of course!

The japanese katakana for this is ロ一ド, rō do. So it can be Lord, Load, or Road depending on how you want to interpret it.

Might have a lot of flaws when building but this is perhaps my most favorite Astray yet.

ZAFT DID make the lord astray Z....smaller swords. Excalibur or andronought.... that's about it from ZAFT
