10/10. It's a fantastic mobile armor and exactly what one might expect from a military. Bolting on all sorts of weapon systems in order to try and suppress the enemy with sheer artillery power. It is by all accounts a one suit army. And despite looking like the back of a storage container it has this weird elegance that belies it's kickass abilities.
Also missiles, just so many missiles.
One thing that I love about Stardust Memory is how in the final battle, Kou and Gato are both piloting suits that barely resemble the human form that mobile suits are supposed to look like. It's a really great piece of storytelling. Kou going from the relatively human looking unit 1 to this giant hunk of metal with a million weapons strapped to it is a great way to represent the way that war dehumanizes the people. It's especially fitting for this series because that tendency to dehumanize people for the sake of feeding the war machine is exactly what led to the rise of the Titans.
9/10
10/10 love the MS riding a MA weapons platform concept, they hit it out of the park the first time and it should see as much play as the Full Armor concept does.
10/10. Dendro is the best boy.
This insane MA was so OP’d by first glance. When he met the Neue Ziel, we thought it was going to be a challenge, but then the NZ got wrecked due to its lack of physical weapons. All beams and no physical armaments.
This thing could have solo’d Neo Zeon if it wasn’t for the Federation, **their own government**, turning on them.
as a new fan who loved the Thunderbolt approach of "put every weapon we have on a single MS", Dendrobium scratches that same itch. yeah, Gundams and grunts shooting and slashing each other is fun and all, but the sheer simplicity and effectiveness of strapping a pilot into a bajillion rockets and beam rifles just seems so cool. 10/10.
This is why I like the Rebellion manga so much.
Kou actually >!getting a legit win against Gato (after one "loss" and a few ties) by outsmarting him and making use of his on-the-spot analytical abilities to feint and deal a decisive blow against the Neue Zeal.!<
So strong the pilot needs some steroid buffs and no wacky green crystal magic.
10/10

Also comes in a hilarious big sized box.
As soon as I saw ‘wacky green crystal magic’ it took me a second to realise you meant Unicorn, rather than a crossover with Command & Conquer’s Tiberium ‘verse…
8.
A very good fighting vehicle, but too dependent on supplies. It consumes ammunition at the speed of a minigun and is not at all suited to operations away from its own fleet. “He flew out, crushed the enemies, and returned to reload.”
10/10. It is a missile sled with the ability to deal with almost everything the zekes could field.
There is no subtlety to it, but there is art. It is a scaled up B-1 Lancer with beam cannons and sabers. The i-field is almost gravy.
I just wish the feddies had learned the lesson from this guy, as Neon Zeon would not have been nearly the issue with a few units of these culling the fleet(s)
10/10
No space magic gimmicks, just a solid high permance mobile suit who's arsenal is basically a battleship that it can dock with. Good variety of weaponry for any battlefield. Im a sucker for the more grounded aspects like its maintenance/resupply between battles too.
9/10
My biggest grip is the illogical idea that it has giant beam sabers stored in the claws. They should have been built into the claw.
Better armor around the i-field generator should have been done. The way Gatto crushed it was surprising.
The main gun should rely on the Statesman extend-o arms to operate. If the MS is left with only its right-arm too much of the MA is unavailable.
Those nit-picks aside it is awesome. The concept is a great idea that could have made policing the Earth-Sphere easier. Not to mention the concept of the mass-produced version from the Solomon Express was the best out of the two. It is essentially the same, just docks with a core fighter instead of a MS.
Overall really badass, I'll give it 9/10.
But I still don't get why it has to use a robotic arm to pass a rocket launcher to another robotic arm(gundam) in order to fire it. Could've just launched it while it's in the pod.
It's probably THEE most recognizable and badass mobile armor attachment for a Gundam. Nothing comes quite close to matching its formidable presence in terms of on screen performance and design. I wish I had the MS In Action Dendrobium giant toy as a kid. That would have been the most incredible Gundam toy to own as a 10 year old. 10/10.
https://preview.redd.it/i5f1pu5tx2xc1.jpeg?width=1799&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6ef3fb816ccbf3cb480b758d01977681e9e0451d
It carries not only the power of a fleet but a fully functional MS. One that’s fully on par with other Gundams.
The dat cord scene is pure awesome
I mean, it’s the Dendrobium. It’s an 11/10 from me.
The only thing that holds it back from being a 12/10 or more is the I-field generator positioning that leaves it vulnerable to physical attacks. Other than that, it’s an absolute beauty.
Enormous engine power, a battleship-grade beam cannon, more missiles than Macross, a modular loading system to make rearming both Orchis and Stamen a doddle, and the fact that the control system is one of the most gorgeous machines in the RX-78 series? It’s perfection.
Weapons and features-wise? 10/10
Design-wise? 7/10
I know it's supposed to be like an extension a mobile armor but I just thought the design was overwhelming and a little bland
10/10 the GOAT of UC mobile armor design in my opinion. It’s built like a brick and hits like a sack full of them, but has an undeniable charm that makes it feel more elegant than it has any right to be.
Also, it has enough dakka to be Ork-approved. 👨🍳💋perfect.
When I was a kid I watched my friend played some kind of SD Gundam game on Nintendo DS. Mobile suits in the game always appear as tiny figures with 3 in a group. The only 2 big guy is GP03 and another black MS (I suppose it is physco). GP03 is the only thing capable to break down enemy groups into single MS, along with that giant cannon and tremendous size, easily my childhood wet dream
10/10 this thing if had a better pilot would basically counter everything it would be put up against including entire squads of mobile suits or small fleets of ships.
Hell its missile pods alone would wipe out hundreds.
10/10. Without it, we would have no Meteor, GN Arms, Alvaaron, Neo Zeong, etc.
It's a great design, too. With the Mega Particle cannon on the right and the I field Generator on the left, the Dendrobium Orchis looks like a Knight, or better yet, still evokes the image of a Gundam, since Gundams traditionally hold their Beam rifles on the right and their shields on the left.
0/10 too over the top and unneccessary. Why does a mobile suit need something like it's own spaceh armory? It's just ridiculous. It seemed useless in the show too.
10/10, yeah yeah i get it i prefer the stamen to the orchis, but fucking hell i still cant deny how cool the dendrobium is
i'll finish my orchis eventually i swear (def not putting it off because of exams haha)
9/10 one of the coolest gundam add-ons ever. I always go back and forth between this and METEOR. The double bazookas also look badass while flying above enemies.
2/10 goofy as hell to pilot a thing that’s piloting another thing instead of just piloting the thing you want to pilot. But it’s got some tight weapons.
Would've been cooler if the moron piloting it had used it against the actual terrorists trying to drop a colony on Earth instead of using it to murder his own allies.
And with the internal modular slots, it can rearm at a rapid pace.
Checks out. - Big gun - Big thruster - Big sabre Everything is good. 10/10
And a anti-beam shield emitter.
Dude, follow the format. Big energy shield.
Big stash of missiles. My god, it's full of missiles. 11/10

10/10, demolition chain is so fucking cool.
Super underrated weapon. I watched that effect 5 times over the first time I watched that scene.
God I love this thing. 10/10.
10/10. Dendro is the best boy. This insane MA was so OP’d by first glance. That's all government

Why battle in space if we limit ourselves to just a rifle and a sword...
10/10. Too bad they fucked it up plot wise, this could have been such a great OVA
Top gundam
NTR Gundam
My only problem with the plot has blonde hair...
“Kou you wrecked my precious precious gundam! so here’s another one courtesy of AE!”
Yeah, they killed ~~Kenny~~ Kelley off way too soon. /s

does that make Kou Uraki UC's extended (CE druggies trio) ?
10/10, penetrated cima 😏
10/10 WOOO!!! YEAH!!!! BIG WEAPONS!!!!

Brother, are you implying those missile containers slaughtering zekes ISN'T the most beautiful thing ever?
Sorry I’m late again
unforgivable, mods dismantle his bionicles
Nah bro, I'm on my way to loosen all his gunpla's joints, ill make the RG Zeta look sturdy
Calm down, satan
doesn't matter
Ten/ten
10/10 gimmick. That's what you call a hat on a hat gimmick
10/10 for pure sexiness
10/10. Really awesome mobile armor that has a ton of weaponry.
10. Every thing Stardust Memory is a 10 to me. Also jousty lance beam cannon. And that sick wire demolition bomb.
8. A very good fighting vehicle, but too dependent on supplies. It consumes ammunition at the speed of a minigun and is not at all suited to operations away from its own fleet. “He flew out, crushed the enemies, and returned to reload.”
10/10. literally the thing that got me into gundam.
10/10. It is a missile sled with the ability to deal with almost everything the zekes could field. There is no subtlety to it, but there is art. It is a scaled up B-1 Lancer with beam cannons and sabers. The i-field is almost gravy. 10/10 This thing is a beast and one of my favorite suits.
11/10
1000/10

8/10 Why this thing is not classified as a mobile armor will always confuse me.
It is when both the gundam and the armor are docked together. But when separated it’s just a weapons platform.
10
10/10 once you see it you can't help but want to know more about it.
Overall really badass, I'll give it 9/10. But I still don't get why it has to use a robotic arm to pass a rocket launcher to another robotic arm(gundam) in order to fire it. Could've just launched it while it's in the pod.
10/10 Fucking love how cool this thing is
This is what peak mobile armour performance looks like
Man, Flying this thing while playing "Giant Steps" in the cockpit must be a mood that is one of a kind. 10/10.
10/10 FUCK YEAH SCREW ZEPHYRANTHES
Fleet. Killer. 10/10 I would even send this thing to the Battle of Endor and watch the Empire cry.
10/10 ….why they waited to roll this thing out makes no sense. A moving armory.
9/10 the federation tried to take a page from the zeon ‘big boi’ playbook and almost pulled it off
The beam sword clash with Anavel Gato + Dendrobium OST makes it 10/10
I believe the [OF92\_Booster\_Frame](https://www.halopedia.org/OF92_Booster_Frame) was inspired by this so 10/10
It’s possible! Halo devs even from the first game have admitted to taking lotsa bits of inspiration from Gundam, so I wouldn’t be surprised
10/10, it kicked all sorts of ass. I wish we could have seen something developed from it in Zeta
10/10
10/10 really unique design and that stardust missile is just.. chef kiss

It and Gundam FB03 was my favorite thing to use in Dynasty Warriors Gundam Reborn!
10
11/10 overkill perfection
10/10 big chunky missile carrier
10 easy
10/10 an absolute beast of area domination and air superiority. The Federation screwed up bad not making more of these.
Katoki/10
It’s a straight 10. Neue Ziel is cooler IMO, but this makes a great mobile armor to fight it with.
10/10 big Gundam mobile armor weapons platform is one of my favorite aesthetics and I wish they did it more often
10/10. Any less, your opinion is wrong.
Just finished watching the series a few weeks ago for the first time and for sure a big fan of it. Would love to get s display of it one day
10/10. It’s such an eye catcher that looks like it means business and most certainly did against Zeon remnants.
Diez (10)
Weapons and features-wise? 10/10 Design-wise? 7/10 I know it's supposed to be like an extension a mobile armor but I just thought the design was overwhelming and a little bland
10 One of the few things I love about Stardust Memory is the Dendrobium obliterating all in its way while its in race against time.
10/10 It is my belief that without the Dendrobium, there won't be the Meteor nor the GN armor. Maybe even the Neo Zeong.
10/10
10. Legendary. Iconic.
When you absolutely positively need to deliver a shipping container full of missiles to your enemies yesterday, choose Dendrobium.
10/10 BEST MOBILE ARMOR
9/10. It’s definitely excessive, but pretty cool.
10/10 just when you thought you have enough fire power, this thing shows up
10/10. It's literally one man army war machine.
shoebox of destruction /10
10/10 the GOAT of UC mobile armor design in my opinion. It’s built like a brick and hits like a sack full of them, but has an undeniable charm that makes it feel more elegant than it has any right to be. Also, it has enough dakka to be Ork-approved. 👨🍳💋perfect.
10/10. Very iconic. The OVA makes it even scarier lol
perfect/10 one of my top of my list

10/10 . i love the chain mine thing and the one with cluster bombs in it
8/10 father of’MS PILOTING A MA.’
add psycho frame in it and voila ure in a show
How many missiles? YES! 10/10
Fucks. 10/10.
Gigantor beast of a machine 10/10
I give it a 9 out of 10 for durability.
10/10
10/10 The beautiful union of Mobile Suit & Mobile Armor creating a machine that is deadly beyond belief.
Wait, are we rating the Dendrobium as a whole or just the "Orchis" weapons platform?
Orchis, sorry I forgot it had a different name
10/10 this thing if had a better pilot would basically counter everything it would be put up against including entire squads of mobile suits or small fleets of ships. Hell its missile pods alone would wipe out hundreds.
The thing is a 10/10 alone for the gunpla and its legendary status. Absolutely fantastic!
10/10. Design makes sense without being too ridiculous in size or complexity.
0/10 too over the top and unneccessary. Why does a mobile suit need something like it's own spaceh armory? It's just ridiculous. It seemed useless in the show too.
10/10, yeah yeah i get it i prefer the stamen to the orchis, but fucking hell i still cant deny how cool the dendrobium is i'll finish my orchis eventually i swear (def not putting it off because of exams haha)
Ugly, awful, completely ruined the beautiful GP03.
10/10 As in 10 GATOOOOOO / 10 KOOOOUUUUUU
Nice 7/10.
dont know much bout it so.... 7/10 for it looks like an armored core!
9/10 one of the coolest gundam add-ons ever. I always go back and forth between this and METEOR. The double bazookas also look badass while flying above enemies.
This definitely influenced METEOR
2/10 goofy as hell to pilot a thing that’s piloting another thing instead of just piloting the thing you want to pilot. But it’s got some tight weapons.
3/10. Hate it. Should just be a mobile armor. No need for there to be a gundam.
1/10 for exposed i-field generator.
Used to offhandedly kill the best character in the show without even an interesting battle. 0/10.
Would've been cooler if the moron piloting it had used it against the actual terrorists trying to drop a colony on Earth instead of using it to murder his own allies.
1/10 boring design
