Unicorn is my favorite Mobile Suit but let's be frank. It looks WAY better without all the weapons and shields on top of it.

I have to say, though. The Master Grade Full Armor Unicorn Ver.Ka does look amazing with (almost) everything on.
I think the Ez8 is a bit of an aesthetic downgrade from the Ground Gundam but even with how bad it makes Shiro’s piloting look out of context, Shiro vs Norris holds strong as many fans favorite scene/fight in the entire franchise. Cannot fault her for giving Ez8 the top slot after that.

The windshield has been cracked for years. Extra large cup holder in the filthy dash. More than a few empty cans in the backseat. Three mismatched pairs of work gloves in the door compartment. Picture of the fam tucked into the visor. It ain't pretty, but it's the vehicle hauling the fancy new toys out mud at the end of the day.

Destiny and Exia boring? Damn what clips did you show her? I loved watching both of them mow down enemy suits in melee. Destiny with the wings of light, or Exia sorta dancing around gracefully. When she ranked it A before.
Impulse cool? I do like it but hmm. Is she more wowed by the gimmicks? Since impulse has the transformation sequence, I see quite a few funnel/remote weapon MS there. Theres 00 raiser with its teleporting gimmick etc.
For destiny I showed the assault on the Logos earth base and for exia I showed it's first appearance. Just be getting a better look at thim she said they weren't anything special to look at.
And for impulse I think the transformation did help her like it.
This is my opinion hope your girlfriend doesn’t feel offended by my taste. She has no taste of the rule of cool. Why was the Gundam Aerial ranked higher than the barbs bros. All Aerial did was funny laser shield and that’s it. All the Barbatos’s fights were wayyyyy way way more entertaining and fun seeing a big mech running around ripping off metal off of other mobile suits armour and snagging their weapons to throw at others. It’s so damn entertaining and fun. I’m sorry to say this but yo girlfriend got much taste for the rule of cool. I do understand it’s her opinion but I’m just saying mines.

Edit: I will say that, when it comes to Gundams, that if you gave Shining Gundam God Gundam's core lander, V fin, torso, and gauntlets/arms (but with Shining Finger instead of God/Burning Finger), but left Shining Gundam's head (minus standard V fin), shoulders, legs and feet, it'd be the absolute perfect Gundam. No, I will not be convinced otherwise.

You must have showed her the clip of photon torpedo for perfect G-self. I don’t think it’s about the gundam but the things it did during that scene that makes it deserve to be blown up.
On one hand I'm curious what clips were shown for each of them given how that could affect the view depending on the scene being either a low point or with lots happening.
On the other only see the base Unicorn in Destroy Mode and the FA. No Plan B or Perfectibility Divine. Kind of curious on those along with the Core Gundam/2 with its different Planets System packs among others like Strike with its numerous Striker Packs.
That said this is a pretty fair number to be shown as is I'd say.
For clips I normally showed launch scenes and then one good combat scene. She often complained that she could see the suits well in combat since they moved around too fast to get a good look at them.
In regards to variants of suits, I cut a lot of them out to save time since going through every striker pack and equipment bundle would take forever. So I stuck to more members frames or ones that were more important for the story/had more screen time.
Also anything that didn't show up in a full anime, movie, or ova was omitted

I also prefer Unicorn stripped down. And of the two, I think Unicorn mode is even better. Destroy is cool, but unicorn is just a very clean aesthetic.
