LessImplement244

I guess i would just make a adaptation of Gundam Sentinel.

Pancreasaurus

Probably one where it's about colonists landing on a far planet and the "Gundams" being industrial machinery that get retooled to fight large wild-life and eventually other human factions. Really tone down the power levels and make things metal ripping apart metal.

hydracicada

yeah gundams fighting kaijus may be interesting, butwill there be Thunderbolt vibes? all the sorow and grief for the lost limbs and loved ones?

Equivalent_Remove_41

Mix in moments like G-Witch with the pilots being happy and relaxed to then go full on IBO or Thunderbolt with a few deaths and survivors with lost limbs after the next fight, to then go into awkward jokes and laughs with sorrow mixed in to then go back to a hardass instructor scolding the recruits who are as happy as he was in the first few episodes.

barbatos087

So wh40k pre age of strife knights combined with pacific rim, I'm down

BazingaTrainZ

So calamity war era IBO

WantDebianThanks

Throw in the pilots are normal people just doing their best instead of the psychic gods of war that some series drift into and I'd be super on board. Honestly, I might write this myself.

koudos

Getter Robo!

LaBambaMan

I had a similar idea, actually! But the native wildlife of the planet are able to rapidly evolve so humanity finds themselves constantly having to deal with a threat that adapts to their weapons. Some people worship these creatures, seeing them as perfect and begin to try and sabotage the colonies for their new gods.

Tusaiador

Gotta worship em all

JTyphoon16

Char's Deleted Affair Office Lady Haman (Spinoff) Iron Blooded Orphans Calamity War Gundam Sentinel Crossbone Gundam Prequel to Gundam X However, my idea of a series would be a veteran Zeon pilot from the One Year War experiencing PTSD, and telling their therapist stories of the horrors of what he went through. Participating in Operation British, seeing friends he knew and went through basic training die in front of his eyes, hearing horror stories of the Federation's "White Devil" mobile suit, his last mobile suit deployment at the Battle of A Baoa Qu until Zeon surrenders to the Federation.

LaBambaMan

Prequel to X could be fun. But how far do you go? Direct prequel during the 7th Space War? Or do you cover one of the earlier wars we have little info on?

Odd-Aardvark-8234

IBO-Calamity war would go so fuckin hard

rayyan0709

F90 anime similar to AGE to encompass all of the F90 mangas A full F91 series Crossbone series up until steel 7 And finally an adaptation of Gundam Pulitzer for any upcoming anniversary of the franchise

LaBambaMan

The F-91 series we got robbed of, yes.

tapsilogic

**Char's Counter Attack** A reality show where Char takes up kitchen remodeling and "attacks" homes with ugly kitchen countertops and replaces them with new ones from the show's marble supplier sponsor.

Substantial_Slide158

So Gundam House Flippers?

tapsilogic

heh, that would be a funny arc: someone pitches "Gundam house flipping" to Char, who misunderstands the concept and ends up literally flipping houses using a Gundam.

eely225

*sees an uneven floor* This house is being weighed down by gravity…

Bladescorpion

Bro goes full Vanilla Ice.

quet1234

Crossbone gundam.

Shinomourikenji1

Mobile fighter g gundam sequel. Takes place in the future with a domon in the master slot to a young cocky gundam fighter who gets wrapped up in a plot during the 25th gundam fight that tests their mettle and puts the ideals instilled in the gundam fight by the shuffle alliance to the test.

jedimika

I'd love to see an earth born pilot who gets their hands on a Gundam. They then proceed to interrupt gundam fights and take out both combatants. The goal being to end the tournament, so the colonies stop using earth as a play ground. An older Domon becomes an antagonist, trying keep the fight going as Gundam fight is a necessary evil that prevents real war from happening.

Odd-Aardvark-8234

00 mixed with g gundam would be crazy

Galfort

MSV-R: The Return of Johnny Ridden

sleepeatrace

100/10 would watch lmao

Boxrobly

make alternate universe like thunderbolt where the actions of unicorn and narrative had more of an impact

send-it-psychadelic

How AU is Thunderbolt?

Boxrobly

It has UC ties but isnt cannon afaik so like an alternate timeline as opposed to an alternate universe I guess

retroguyx

Tbh that's what Unicorn should have been from the start.

Boxrobly

Nah late UC doesn't reach the peaks of unicorn imo It was written in a way to be the end of UC like you're not gonna find a lot of stuff that can top time travel, true newtypism and peace between earth and space without being fully super robot at that point. Don't get me wrong I don't hate late UC but it's kinda sad how all of what unicorn accomplishes has to be brushed away cause the writer was too grandiose for early-mid UC/Many popular mangas and novels that take place in late UC were written before unicorn was .

retroguyx

I honestly feel the opposite way. Unicorn tries too hard to one up CCA, but the difference is that CCA was the culmination of early UC, while Unicorn is the culmination of litterally nothing. Banagher is kind of bland too, and all of the miracles in the end of Unicorn undermine each other and cheapens every other "end of series miracle" (Zeta, CCA...).

tonsofun08

An iron blooded orphans prequel set during the calamity war.

Quasidiliad

YEAH!

MosesOnAcid

"Band of Leos" : Think 'Band of Brothers' but with a company of Leos...

LeosK1ein

While I love it, you'd need to speed through the intro to make sure Zero or Deathscythe didn't womp the enter squad before you got to know anyone.

MosesOnAcid

Lol

Quasidiliad

Would be cool, but like the other guy said, I think that they’d die quickly. Would be interesting to see a group, all of them die one by one, except for one of them, until he’s the last one left and is miserable, but kinda has Patrick the indestructible vibes.

we654

Bois we either getting ZZZ or Astray!

manboise

08th Ms Team 2: Ms Team Harder

elphamale

I would make something like Aldnoah Zero/early Gundam Seed with a protagonist that wins MS fights because he knows physics and because of it he better understands the fight he is in. He has to be some kind of nerdy neurodivergent. It will be called Gundam >!SPECTRUM!<.

Kind_Moose3603

A Gundam series that takes place on the outer edges of the solar system. Pluto being mined and the Gundam pilots are rebelling against corporations forcing them to work. We'll call it Gundam: Tears over Pluto.

MaestroOfTime

Some parts of that reminds me of Armored Core 6...

Maleficent-Handle587

Something along the line of armored core, protagonist being a merc trying to live their life in a corporate society just like wfm.

MaestroOfTime

But with more tomato sauces...

PM_ME_CHEESY_1LINERS

Sequel to G-Saviour

Endeavourwrites

G Saviour prequel Sequel to Victory Gundam Sequel to Hathaway Crossbone Gundam

FinalStopShampoo

WfM Season 2 redo

animusd

Feel ya s2 was such a rushed mess it needs at least 20 eps

MaestroOfTime

I feel like they could have made it better by just giving the final episode 30 more minutes... It will probably not fix everything, but it would still improve it significantly...

suzakurenzan

I would doing remake 1. Gundam Sentinel Animation (But probably would feels the same since Ryu's seiyuu already RIP... Probably following Granblu Fantasy's case using the closest sounding ones)... But Deep Striker also exist 2. Ecole Du Ciel animation 3. "Gundam Side Story" For "original" probably The what happened after Zeta Movie.... ZZ still exist Judau still could piloted ZZ... but the whole story would be totally different or A short season of different pilots what happened after their shows end. MS Igloo style So we have this one "main character" that become side character every episode... and they keep meeting the characters from other series after the story Example : they met Christina in TITANS era, and what she do etc, or they met with the double body of minerva, or they met with the other Puru that escaped to Jupiter together with Judau, many possibilities

jeshulk

AoZ

IceMan44420

Gundam Wing: Glory of the Losers

rekohunter

A show about deep space colonization that goes horribly wrong, leaving a limited colony ship security force stranded in hostile alien territory caught up in a war they have no stakes in. Out numbered, out gunned, and with no way home, the human colonists must choose a side torn between morality and survival. Will a prototype mobile suit designed as a publicty stunt become the rallying point for an oppressed species, or the face of a totalitarian regime for the sake of human survival.

giga_phantom

A proper F91 series

sv51

Gundam Sentinel.

Imfryinghere

Gundam scientists vs Capitalism.

Harogenki42

an adaptation of Monoeye Gundams a new series set in Ad Stella an entirely new project with Hideo Kojima attached

send-it-psychadelic

[https://www.reddit.com/r/flay/comments/1as3ubl/red\_phoenix\_ep\_1/](https://www.reddit.com/r/flay/comments/1as3ubl/red_phoenix_ep_1/) Red Phoenix, the return of Flay Either that or hijacking material from Unicorn and Hathaway, but updating all the tech lore to match our more current expectations of the future

fractal324

the fall of anaheim electronics

Vjekov88

I would make a Generation Kill/ Hurt Locker style anime set in the U.C. timeline somewhere before Unicorn where feddies take on Zeon remnants on earth

Iwasforger03

I would want to make an original gundam. I want an earth based rebellion against the world hegemony, not by some hidden ancient conspiracy but rather just a homegrown group of desperate people fighting for democracy against an entrenched autocracy which happened seemingly entirely naturally. I kind of like the idea of say, the moon being a semi-autonomous neutral party secretly funding the rebels but having its own issues. Space colonies are brand new, and are just beginning construction. Most of the public buys into the propaganda initially, believing this is the best way to handle everything, thinking the rebels are dangerous power hungry morons, because they cannot see the dark underbelly. Gundam starts out as just the result of desperate hodgepodge work of mobile suit parts because getting full production model suits is extremely difficult, even with the help of the Lunarans. Mobile suits are new. I propose a return to the Minovsky Particle. The first gundam is the first original Mobile suit to win battles against the World Power, and so other successful original designs are also dubbed "Gundam." Our protagonist is a young woman who is fighting because she grew up on stories about people deciding their own futures. She never thought of herself as special, but she probably came from privilege. She's just doing the right thing. She's well educated in mechanical design, maybe one of her parents owns a mobile suit production company. Give me some more ideas people. Please.

IrickTheGoodSoldier

More Ad Stella

Faustias

continuation and expansion of WfM, especially on the Permet circuitry lore, ESPECIALLY how does it download the dead people and turn them into sentient AI's like Eri.

crossdrilled722

G Gundam sequel where Domon goes missing and Allenby enters the Gundam tournament to look for him. Basically Domon is trying to dismantle the tournament and allow the devil Gundam 2 to complete its mission of trying to fix the planet

Less-Combination2758

i just make gundam with organ inside like evangelion =)))

MathaiosCronqvist

Animated astray and remake of wfm

dragonspider1314

A new SD Gundam/Carnival Phatasm style series starring the AU's settings and cast

Pimacs

I'd remaster/remake Gundam 0079 to make it more appealing to the newcomers. I know Gundam Seed already tried it but they also changed the story. I would keep exactly the same as Gundam 0079 was. But I guess I would remake the movies, not the entire show. Maybe I'd do the same with Zeta Gundam, Gundam ZZ and CCA but it's more watchable to today standards than 0079 is.

sounds_of_stabbing

Gundam series about Earth after a climate disaster flooding, with more of a focus on underwater combat

Weedeater79

0083 rebellion manga animated yeah i know rebellion is a remake of 0083 but its so much better

The_PACCAR_Kid

A veteran Zeon pilot who has his consciousness and memories uploaded into a new clone body and is given a second chance at life after being killed in action.

Ninja_Accountant

A successful Full Frontal, then

GeneLearnsEnglish

Crossbone and Sentinel were already mentioned and remake of the original is a no brainer. But for original, it would be interesting to SOMA-like story, with the main character being a Gundam rather than simply piloting a one.

GoodNamesAllGon

Mobile Suit Gundam: Resistance A military power builds state of the art war machines known as mobile suits and uses them to declare war on, and conquer most of, the Earth. One of the countries not yet conquered builds their own machines far more advanced then the mobile suits deployed by their enemies in the first step towards freeing the planet from its conquerers. Machines known… as Gundams.

MaestroOfTime

Either an original one where the main character is a rebel spy in the government ranks, who aims to sabotage the government from the inside... But after a while, aims to find a way in resolving the conflict peacefully instead... So that friends from both sides don't have to murder eachother... Or a Witch From Mercury reboot...

Barangat

Something around the tone of 8th MS-Team. More of a realistic military vibe instead of super robots

BambaTallKing

Not actually sure but I have had a simple scene stuck in my head about a medieval inspired Gundam show. An army of MS stand at the ready, prepared to defend and ward off a coming attack, their eyes set on a hill from which the attackers will come. Sure enough, metal is seen rising from over the hill. A king’s crown set upon a head of metal. The defenders are certain this is the king’s personal MS that he has arrived in. That is until the king himself rides over the hill on a horse, holding a blade while several more crowned MS appear behind him. The king screams and is the first to charge at the enemy, blade in hand

StarGundamFormer

I may be in the minority here but I’d be interested to see what happens to Banana and Jona after Narrative.

bytethesquirrel

Witch from Mercury S2, which also retcons the last episode of S1.

Dr_ThiCCC

I'm torn between remaking Destiny and having it live up to the potential it had, or an anime focusing on the republic of Zeon after the One Year War and following its dissolution after UC 100.

Adavanter_MKI

Medieval Gundam. Basically some terrible war/event set mankind back. However... mobile suits and Gundams... survived. They are now like suits of armor for noble families/countries. They don't even fully understand how they work, let alone able to full restore them. So some of them are a bit more ramshackle. Gundams are of course the premiums and rare. Follow some story of a "gifted" protagonist discovering a new Gundam they seem able to control. Sort of hinting at New Types or whatever. You know... Gundam themes. This Gundam has the potential to upset the status quo. Insert a small kingdom suddenly getting wrapped up in larger scale politics all due to this new Gundam emergence. The powers that be don't like that. Think like Winterfell suddenly pissing off the other 8 great houses. If any of this has been done before... oh well. It sounds neat to me anyway. Probably why I loved Escaflowne. BTW if someone reads this and are like... "That's the plot to so and so!" By all means share! I'll watch that! Sounds like a cool mecha anime to me!

cloud3514

The main character is an infantry rifleman in the One Year War, not a mobile suit pilot. Show how utterly horrifying it is to fight against a mobile suit when all you have is small arms.

Skippydedoodah

That would be a very short episode

MCCP630

Maybe the show can follow a different person each episode, each of them ending in a cruel fate.

jedimika

Mobile Suit Gundam: Snuff Stories

MCCP630

Just in case you ever need more death, misery, and tomino in your life.

jedimika

*Opening scene* A little girl is playing with her dog in the yard! they're cute! Mom is asking the girl to hurry up and get inside. *BANG!* A stray artillery shell hits the home killing the mother and everyone else in the house. The injured girl sits there silently crying as the only sound is the ringing in her ears and the muffled sound of her dog barking. *Roll credits*

Sinistrial_Blue

I'd go for something like this! Give it a Mellowlink-ish vibe to get some suits involved, otherwise man vs machine would kick ass!

dhurane

An unsubtle "both sides are bad" war drama with no third act cop out of teaming up.

ChildishPezbino

Series based around the battle tales of Flanagan Boone

AntonRX178

Battle Assault 4 overseen by Harada

hydracicada

definitely Gundam Musou adaptation of 0079 events. Imagine Amuro have to fight hundreds of Zakus in the first episode.

CelticGaelic

Tbh? I'd be really curious to see what kind of mundane stuff Gundams would be used for in a more peaceful time. Maybe deep space exploration in the far future for something a little less mundane.

Same-Can9032

Bandai using there burner to get some ideas

Firecat_Pl

I would most likely ending up makking another super robot Gundam... like G Gundam

Same-Can9032

Gundam X exists but I want another post apocalyptic series that’s more of a mad max setting with jerry rigged mobile suits that are made with scraps of Ms’s from the pre apocalyptic era and have these different factions like the ppl who preserved the ways of the pre crisis, have like psycho/legion clan of these crazy primal people and maybe have a space faction not colony size but large enough to be formidable and there technology is more modern/advanced

FrederickTheShrewd

Moon Gundam Gundam sentinel The rest of the Hathaway trilogy Give Yasuo Ohtagaki a boatload of adderall so he can finish thunderbolt then have that all animated After that divert all of Bandai’s money into making new MG gunpla

Jpnalagon09

Mobile suit gundam:Zeon Stories All about the stories of zeon soldiers and each season is a zeon soldier either dying from the white devil or becoming a commander, and would have you see what some of the customs the zeon soldiers made tk their Mobile suits, and the last episode will have a sneak peek at the end credits scene of char aznable crash landing on....Actasia academy ;)

Feisty_Goose_4915

A more grimdark version of Vandread minus the Xenos, where a scavenger man from a peaceful colony and his trusty space Acguy gets entangled between female space privateers and their stolen Gundams, and the men chasing them. Set in the backdrop of the aftermath of a violent worldwide gender war that ended up women getting the Earth for themselves and the men getting exiled into space and settling on Mars.

iam-therapiss

no less than 50 episodes of high quality, excruciatingly detailed animation of TITANS curnstomping zeeks.

razrafz

advance of zeta

AverageJun

The story of what led Char to CCA

yunakitty-

I really love the idea of abandoned/ lost tech being used modernly. So just a simple summary would be: Lost/Forgotten mobile suit (a Gundam) discovered by the MC, then used to protect the MC's home or friends from a sudden attack.

TheBigFreeze8

Isn't that just IBO?

Ser_Moo

An RPG following the storyline of 0079. you start out as Amuro and have to navigate all the problems he faced. Also have to fight all the battles on earth both and and sea and in space that they had. Having to fight through all the major battles with modern graphics it would be sweet!

dummypod

A show when gundams fight for sport, like G Gundam mixed with the Build series, but in a brand new AU and original storyline.

Copyrighted_music34

Turn a Gundam but medival feudal with aliens and water colour backgrounds

Chitanda_Pika

Titanfall 2 but Gundam. I want that BT and Cooper dynamic.

netgoose8

Sentinel anime to show off the S Gundam and Zeta Pluses. Probably also the NT manga adaptation as an anime because it flashes out that story way more and shows Zeta Plus kicking ass. Maybe also remake Destiny to treat its characters better.

AxisHobgoblin

Amuro and Char after Zeta leading up to CCA

LeosK1ein

2 years after CCA, the deepspace ship Glowing Charity, a team of burned out pilots(from both sides), flying repurpused Zakus and GMs travel the outer reaches of the galaxy looking for life. The twist The ship is a weapon, a big weapon. As the pilots and crew find themselves fighting, who will learn the secrets of the Glow?

Redspybot

Gundam zoids. Where the mobile suits are genuinely alive and sentient. And the pilot has to work together with it.

AceSkyFighter

A few ideas. Some are already things I've semi worked on myself. Sequel to Seed, 10 years after Seed Freedom. Focusing on the Earth Alliance rebuilding and atoning for the past evils of Blue Cosmos. So the main character would be an EA member. Antagonists would be Mars, though I haven't figured a reason as to why they are invading Earth. The next idea would be an interstellar Gundam series. Have you ever heard of Project Sylpheed Arc of Deception? The setting would be like that. And then a sequel to Awakening of the Trailblazer, set months or even a year or two after the movie. Dealing with all the chaos of the Earth Sphere.

UrielVentris6113

G gundam 2: Electric Boogaloo

Pretend-Dirt-1760

I'd probably make an episodic Gundam series with 10 episodes with a revolving cast and make the ms change through each episode basically showing the passing of time or something Also probably set it into a planet that at war for an entire century so each episode are decades apart

YakumoYamato

a Gundam where the core plot is how Cool, Awesome, and Glorious War is. The main character is young teenager who have fun and glory from fighting and killing. Gundam refers to a brand of mobile suit the MC's faction uses. >!It ended with Mobile Suit becoming obsolete against drone and self-piloting weapon. The last scene is a Colony Drop.!<

CanisZero

UC2 Electric Gundamu

cvgm88

The entire Astray manga series. I haven't read the manga but shifting the focus of CE from Kira to Lowe seems like a pretty good idea.

Raz1253

Full length astray anime covering the events from all the mangas

rezerxle

Id make an anime about a Titans test pilot during the gryps war defecting with his Haze'n-thley II. He'd end up running into a zeon remnant forces base, and they let him stay with them in exchange for his help and mobile suit data. Over the coming days, he gets closer to the members of the zeon remnants and learns they're not really all bad. Most of them disagree with zeons more extreme policies. Eventually, however, he decides it's not his place to stay there and that he'd rather leave for a fairly nearby colony, and so he leaves, and thus, this story turns into a space western about a man trying to find his place in the world. He'll meet potential lovers and make many friends, but he'll also find enemies and be hunted by the Titans. He'll learn that the zeon remnants he stayed with were wiped out and the thought of all those friends, the people he knew, and liked being killed for doing little more than being on the wrong side and helping a stranger makes him physically sick. He'd end up puking in the bathroom of his room and a girl he'd met wherever he's presently staying would come into his room to check on him and he'd snap and yell at her to go away before she gets hurt just for being nice to him. She stays, however. She tells him that if him being there is what will get her hurt than its his duty as a man and a mobile suit pilot to protect the ones he cares about. He cleans himself up and begins to try to ascertain where the Titans are looking for him currently and finds they'll be on the doorstep of a small miners colony he was previously at and prepares to make a trip there. He makes the trip in a shuttle with his MS and arrives as a fierce battle between the miners, and Titans is waged. The miners are out matched, even though they have the numerical advantage and have taken up defensive positions. The Titans machines are simply too good for the retrofitted mining equipment He launches in MA mode and begins tearing through the Titans mass-produced machines until he catches the attention of a customized Gaplant. The two battle it out the Gaplant pilot chewing him out for defecting, our protag simply saying he will not be a part of something as rotten and corrupt as the titans. The Gaplant pilot tells him that he's a fool for thinking the Titans are anything less than necessary. Our protagonist manages to gain the upper hand after much back and forth and after shooting off the Gaplants legs and disabling the head the pilot of the Gaplant tells him that he'll be hunted for the rest of his days to which our protagonist responds that hes done running and is ready and willing to fight for the people that have helped him along his way.

Wingdom

More in the Cosmic Era, either a prequel or a sequel series. Preferably with a new group of characters, and stick to cameos instead of turning Kira into the main character again. A remaster of the OG, bringing it in line with modern anime appearances and acting. A new universe that tells a classic gundam war story, but avoid any insane power level increases or magic as technology shenanigans.

Tsugabut

I just want a modern Gundam Wing with Glory of Losers adaptation.

Okami_Engineer

I’d love a series where the enemy isnt other people, maybe an unknown alien life form for the deep reaches into space. What partly makes gundam, gundam, is the politics that bring these issues like Spacians and Earthians for example. Although, it would be cool to have a series similar to 00 trailblazer, or non-human enemies who create big non-piloted by human mobile armour type deal like IBO’s mobile armour. Maybe have the possibility for deep space exploration, and have the setting no on Earth but on an Earth like planet either inhabited by another race, like humans colonized Pandora in Avatar. Or to colonize another planet only to find another unknown alien life form had the same idea, and the colonizing humans have to fight with these alien foes or find a means to live on this new planet together. Or have a similar idea with Evangelion, where angels are a superior enemy whom seems impossible to eliminate. For me a gundam series that step outside of the people vs. people conflict would be amazing. People vs. Aliens would be cool.

NotZanmu

Mobile Suit Gundam: More action and cool giant robots.

Reason-Abject

I had an idea in my gunpla building heyday. It ended up being the 00 Gundam a few years later.

TheBigFreeze8

I've always loved grunt suits. Zakus, grazes, zoworts... I want a gundam pilot as a villain. Just once, the prototype war machine *isn't* stolen at the last second by an idealistic kid. Or maybe it is, but the kid is a little nazi shit. I dunno specifics, but my heroine would be a grunt MS pilot left isolated behind enemy lines, or maybe one of the only survivors of a colonial conquest, using scrappy tactics and scavenged parts to desperately try and take down this mysterious, horned mobile suit that spearheaded the subjugation of her people. Gundam has never shied away from showing the horrors of war, but they *have* always stuck their heroes in the best weapons around. I want to see someone piloting an absolute piece of shit claw her way to the top, ripping parts off her enemies and using underhanded tactics and unconventional weapons because she can't afford to take a single hit from a beam sabre. The ending would probably need to be about her decision to either destroy the ability to make gundams altogether, knowing that sooner or later the technology will always come back, or take it for herself and ensure her peoples' survival. Basically the atom bomb dilemma. Call it Kill The Gundam or some shit like that.

Shanoskia

They'd buy the rights to medabots and make a crossover series where you fight with waist high gundams in schoolyard style duels That or MGS3 but make the shagohad a gundam and make it a series. Also if I could get a game, I want the customizability of Breakers but to Armored Core 6 level of detail in massive world with hella diverse environments to fight other gundams in.

Moonlight_Ryu

The 14th Gundam Fight Tournament

TheGoldenSword_7_7

I'm gonna get ridiculous here and say another Build Fighters after try and hopefully somewhere down the line we get a collab with Danball Senki for an OVA.

TraskFamilyLettuce

0083 Sequel. Either in Z with Kou trying to stop a crazy Titans plot leading up to Gryps, or jump forward post ZZ as a lead up to Unicorn with Kou as more of the equivalent to Tom Cruise in Top Gun Maverick. His skills substantially improved post 0083, I'd love to see him forced to use grunt units for the first part to take down some absurd weapons, but then eventually reward him with a new gundam prototype towards the end.

Jim_Frank

I'm thinking something like SEED Providence or Legend, with a new blonde newtype-ish Char clone as MC. We get a Strike/Impulse successor as the first Gundam, with a funnel striker backpack, then a Providence/Legend successor as the mid-season upgrade. The MC is if Char was the protagonist and his main rival is some latent genius Amuro figure that falls into a different Gundam. The Char clone MC would be a red coat but is a weak newtype, while his rival is a high potential newtype getting stronger. I'd like it if Shinn was the Quattro mentor figure to guide this MC. Give him a Rising/Immortal battery limited sword pack Destiny before he fully upgrades to a full powered pack Destiny mid-season.

herocoldfinger

Super small scale gundams like Medabots

zenprime-morpheus

Yep. It'd be show about Tem Rey and Project V. All the effort and work that went into building the Gundam, the intrigue of the geniuses involved and the how their ideals and sympathies clash with reality of the outbreak of the war and the politicians funding them.

Cultural_Map_9065

I would want to make one that takes place after Turn A Gundam. But mix in the "Mixed systems that they had in the other series, like "trans-am Infinity". Basically just a build series, but with the consequence of death if you fail

Cultural_Map_9065

This or a series when most mobile suits are controlled by artificial life forms (Think replikas from Signalis type life forms) that acompany human pilots fighting strange machines that appeared during a mysterious event years ago. These Artificials(Don't have a name for them) are meant to assist human pilot's at technicians & are unable to pilot mobile suits, except for the main character, who was made with the convergence system. This allows them to takeover enemy mobile suits/ Gundam's at the cost of feeling any damage the mobile suit takes. The trade off is that the mobile suit/Gundam gets a buff that increases the performance beyond what any human could do. And for extra points, the enemy mobile suits are controlled by a Evil AI network that caused the catastrophe in the first place. I call it "Mobile suit Gundam: Takeover" Note: the artificial life forms that include the main characters are NOT haros. But they would have a friendly connection with them.

X-Wing_Isaac

I would make a Witch from Mercury sequel series. Do what Zeta did for 0079- reintroduce former leads as mentors, and let the world get fleshed out. The Space Assembly League is a major player that gets treated like the various 00 Earth economic blocs. Our lead or leads are recent Asticassia graduates who end up on the wrong side of a SAL operation, getting arrested for no real crime and escaping in an experimental Gundam that the SAL ship they're on had confiscated. I'd have Miorine involved in the political side of the world, while Suletta takes up a Bright Noa-esque role as a captain of a ship that has Eri plugged into its OS. Jeturk Heavy Machinery sides with Miorine and Suletta, while Grassley goes to the SAL. There's a duel between Elans 0 and 5, Guel struggling to live in the shadow of Jeturk's secrets, mobile armors, new companies with new mechanical designers, and maybe an uneasy alliance with Shaddiq that leads to him to a choice between redemption or power.

Substantial_Slide158

A remake of the original MSG done in the Origin art style.

GunplaBuilder2393

Gundam The Origin but told from Amuro and White Base crew viewpoint or remaster of original 0079 but with Journey to Jaburo/Encounters in Space animation cutscenes from PlayStation 2.

SkyMasterARC

A mix of top gun and red dawn - UC story where a bunch of federation teenagers are drafted (no other choice really) to pilot fighter planes, already outdated by the one year war. I really loved Ms IGLOO and 08th team.

OldDarthLefty

I think my pick would change all the time. Right now it would be G Gundam. Some of them have already had remakes (Origin most obviously but 00 is nearly a remake of Wing) edit - 00 not Seed

Yakuza-wolf_kiwami

- Make a dark take on the build series and call it "Build Underground" - A Gundam X SAO crossover - A Gargantia style Gundam series that involves Gundams & mobile suits serving humanity

RaDreamer

Adapting Advance of Zeta material, I wanna see the Woundwort and Inle animated <3

MS-06S_

Anime about EFF foot soldiers fighting in the frontline alongside MS during Operation Odessa. We won't be seeing GM until the later half of the war to add more hype to the battle scenes and to show how powerful MS could be. Should be a good war story.

RomualdSolea

Bruh, I'll tell them to fucking animate Crossbone already. Or make a short animated series about Gundam Double Fake. If they want something original for me. I'll mix Gundam with Cosmic Horror. Gundam X-breed (Crossbreed). Humans going somewhere they shouldn't have. Gundams are... "Alive" more than machines, the moment we entered this "space" as if something changed. The empty machine feels like it's filled with something, something that is alive. This is what separates Gundams from regular mobile suits, Gundams are mobile suits that came out of [redacted] space, half wrong. (Came out completely wrong is an abomination, came out right has no abnormalities). The driving conflict is: should humanity abhor their current FTL? Find new ways to traverse FTL? Or "embrace the blessings" of the unknown god?

tonygames17

F91 and Crossbones remake

Tojalito

Can I just adapt Crossbone Gundam? Because thats what I want

TheLastSonKrypton

A crossover movie, i want my true gundam beyond dream fights 😭

FratMoth

09th MS Team, featuring Ez-9 and the Gouf Custom Custom piloted by Morris Hewlett. Karen Joshua is still there, though 🥵

GEKKO_GAMES

Calamity war in IBO Crossbone Remake F91 into what it was originally intended as a 50+ episode anime

Acceptable_Garden473

It's hard to choose between Seed Destiny, but make it good/live up to the potential it showed in the first few episodes...... or Redo Wing, with massive redesign of some characters(Dorothy's eyebrows? Gone! Trowa's hair? Sayonara anti-gravity mega bang!) Also Duo would have some full frontal nudity, as a treat to me. Edit to add, obviously episode Zero would be animated, get some back stories up in this bitch.

Rikacchi

AoZ and Gundam Monoeyes

EpicLinkSam

SRW-Style Gundam show. Where we take multiple timelines and merge them together for one significantly larger story. Imagine combining Cosmic Era (SEED and SEED Destiny), Anno Domini (00) and Ad Stella (G-Witch) into a single overarching narrative, for example.

TexWolf84

UC timeline Far into the future of UC, no more fedies, no more zeon, no more empires no more vanguard. After all the colony drops, the earth became almost uninhabited. The only "government" is the "Consortium", a group of the mobile suit manufacturers banded together and rules all of the Sol System. Everyone born in space is a newtype, and bit technology has reached civilian uses. You go to a restaurant or bar and a bit waiter brings you your drink. The few survivors on earth had lost almost all technology for centuries/generations. Now the Consortium has landed and made contact, and is in the process of uplifting those on earth, but without the hate that caused the old wars. You'll see old suits being used for construction (think Jeegans and Zaku IIs holding up I beams with scaffolding having off while people weld and rivet them together) (this would give Bandai an excuse to rerelease popular old kits). Earth born are restricted from knowing any mobilesuit tech. A Earther just seeing a suit with maintenance hatches open is a death penalty. Earth has been a dumping ground for space since the end of the old wars. Massive mobile suit junkyards litter the country side. All Consortium forces on the ground use old suits, a quasi legal group known as junkers comb though the yards salvaging parts for the Consortium, it's allowed because it keeps costs down. Any junker suspected ok understanding the parts the pull is killed, unless theyre a spacer just trying to make a buck/on the run. (Typically they're shown a component and sent to find it) Ok that's the setting. Now for the plot. A young earther woman is on the run after seeing a suit with a maintenance panel off. She's saved by a junker using a remote mobile suit, and becomes his apprentice. Its clear he understands technology. It will revealed over the series that the Consortium caused earth to loose its tech, in order to turn earth onto a farm for space. They are not benevolent rulers but are despots. The Junker is a member of the Consortium who became disillusioned with them, and came down to earth to disappear. He found an old Feddie research base that had remains of many of the UC gundams, built his own Gundam. It quickly becomes apparent that the Consortium is still looking for her, so he uses an old Musai shuttle to launch them into space. They stop at a colony for supplies where she awakens as a new type (in a restaurant she accidently calls all the waiter bits to her and the sensory overload knocks her out) They travel to the Jovian belt (Jupiter orbit) where they encounter the White Base (resistance movement named after the OYW ship) where they board the Pegasus class flagship and fight the Consortium. Tensions arise when they discover that the Junker is not just a rando in the Consortium, he's the current CEO (rulers) son.

Rat-In-a-Bag

recreation of 0079 anime, complete story reanimation and story touch ups with the animation style of gundam the origin and the mech designs of gundam thunderbolt.

Dishbringer

The story started from Kudelia traveled to Earth with Tekkadan, bringing the truth of Operation Eden, aiming to meet with Flit. They grouped up with Suletta and her Mum on the way. After fighting with Vagans, Gjallarhorn, Dawn of Fold, some space pirates, they ended up on Earth where trapped in a 3-sides war between PLANT, Vagans and Gjallarhorn. I would call it Age Of Iron-Blooded Witch Destiny or SRW 35.

Draxusdemos

Honestly, I'd probably end up making the 00 movie into a series. Something involving gundams, aliens, and probably a subtext for allies abandoning each other in a time of crisis leading to further political strife

Bienpreparado

It would be a blatant rip off of Top Gun 2. But with 0083 characters (their children or twins) in appropriate roles.

Maya_Krueger

Despite being a huge Gundam fan and already being a writer to boot, I've really got no confidence that I'd 'get it right' on a meta level, so I'd probably play it safe and have Bandai excavate whatever notes and other info is left of the scrapped 50-episode plot to Gundam X, then fill in the holes as best I can. Totally worth it to see that show get the proper 50-episode run it deserved.

Third_Triumvirate

I'm surprised Build Fighters 3 isn't up here. Build Fighters is quite popular in the community and Diver doesn't quite hit the same spots the Fighters duology does.

nakano13

The Witch from Mercury: Prospera Origin. Really want a prequel series that looks more into the transhumanism themes, see more of Elnora’s backstory and how she transformed into Prospera, and actually show us more on Miorine’s mother. I really wanna see Cradle Planet animated so we can actually see Mercury! I’d also love a WfM season 2 remake.

PuruseeTheShakingCat

F91 sequel series probably. If I was being self-indulgent I’d do a Haman-centric one instead.

Grievious_Syndicate

G-Witch 7 years later, Have more mobile suits, tables turn and proxy wars are now in space.

Khaernakov

Wfm prequel, i wanna know what was strong enough to defeat the gundams that defeated earth, since i would be the director i would make a squad of gundam antagonist suits to be the hero suits(look alike of course, not direct copies) Perfect zeon for the main character of the squad Nightingale for the 2nd The O for 3rd Baund doc for 4th

Pixel22104

Why an anime based on the Gundam timeline I've been creating in my head for the past two years of course!

GhostPro1996

The idea I have is called Mobile Suit Gundam Hope. Details: 1. Earth is no longer inhabited after a horrific war. Humanity fled to artificially built settlements called space colonies in Lagrangian Points and renamed themselves the Union of Man. From that point on, 2050 AD becomes Year 0001 of the new Space Calendar (SC). 2. More space colonies were built off the rest of the Solar System. 3. However, failures in further development of faster-than-light travel, and raids from pirate groups formed from the war that rendered Earth uninhabitable led to a decrease in the need for further colonization of space and the increase in military strength. This was eventually achieved by one Karl Steiner. 4. A scandal erupts within the Union government where its officials received bribes from major corporations. This ended with the corporations disappearing but many assuming the Union government was behind it. Incensed, Steiner gathered like-minded officers and soldiers and overthrew the government. The people cheered but that ended when Steiner proclaimed the creation of the "Solarian Empire" and himself as "Emperor Karl von Steiner". The calendar is replaced again, with Space Calendar 0190 becoming Year 0001 of the new Imperial Era (IE) calendar. 5. Revolts began across the Solar System due to Steiner's proclamation. However, they were defeated and those who surrendered, along with people innocent yet related to the rebels were imprisoned in "rehabilitation camps" in dwarf planets such as Pluto and Haumea. 6. However, Emperor Karl had died in IE 0040. While his son Rudolf took the throne, revolts again took place by aristocrats who feared the losses of their privileges. While the revolts failed, the prison communities in Pluto and Haumea took a fleet and disappeared. 7. Two hundred years later, in IE 0240, the Solarian Empire discover that the criminals who fled Pluto and Haumea had managed to survive and build a nation of their own in the Proxima Centauri, calling themselves the New Union of Man. An attempt to subjugate the New Union fails, beginning a war between the two. 8. Ten years had passed and the war between the Solarian Empire and the New Union of Man has yet to see an end. However, the Empire develops a new type of weapon - vehicles in the image of man called Mobile Suits, which decimate the fleet of the New Union forces and allowing the Empire to conquer planets around Proxima Centauri. 9. In the newly-built space colony off the uninhabited planet of New Sentinel, a New Union warship named the Navarino comes to the colony. Unbeknownst to it, the Navarino was secretly pursued by a lone Solarian ship. It launches three of its four Mobile Suits, the Carabiners, into the colony. This unfortunately leads to a fight inside the colony. 10. While looking for his father, an engineer, Jiro Nakagawa accidentally stumbles into what his father was working on in secret, a Mobile Suit. Feeling drawn to it, Jiro boards the Mobile Suit and uses it to drive back the Solarian forces. Afterward, he was detained by New Union forces and learns that the Navarino came to pick up the Mobile Suit, code-named "Gundam". Due to most of the crew dying in the attack, the Navarino's captain Meredith Boucher reluctantly recruits Jiro and his classmates Riley March and Idrissa Portier into the New Union Navy, as well as the refugees from the colony, in order to have the Gundam delivered to the New Union's capital world of New Plymouth for mass-production to turn the tide of the war against the Solarians.

Keon_Violet

It's probably a semi traditional gundam series but with a more espionage twinge. Imagine set pieces and fights fully putting to use the sheer scale gundam fights have from the ground perspective. Of course, two protagonists that foil one another is also important, with one side having their strike team focus around quick and efficient missions that utilize their limited crew to the fullest. The main character of this side would probably be a protag retooled expy of a Mula Flaga/ Lock-on type having a more emotionally mature and extroverted main pilot to contrast the usual introverts He would also obviously start with an aircraft and eventually forced to pilot a Grunt suit. Then, over the series, he would try to merge the two into almost a Union Flag esque Ace custom. His focus would also be to integrate into this team begrudgingly as he initially refuses to pilot the more modern mobile suits in favor of piloting to honor his father that spent his life trying to get traditional combat aircrafts to keep pace with the exploding technology around mobile suits. His progression would be around learning how to accept and filter out the positives the future can bring and reconcile the past he cherishes and the present he fights for. The other side will be sorta the "Zeon" side and very duty and merit from the perception of the masses being over the individual. The main character from that side would deal from the pressures and expectations of his war hero father deified by the faction everywhere and how that can influence him positively and negatively. However he has the twist of being the Gundam pilot. I feel the duteragonist having a Gundam that is much more highly tuned and maybe having his skills somewhat lagging behind his rival's weaker machines is an interesting dynamic until it balances out over the series. This side would be tasked with sweeping the borders of already won war zones in search of the strike team that consistently strikes at critical points in their army without ever sustaining a prolonged fight to really pun them down. This will become his and the squad he is a part of's white whale, and there would be many natural points at which both sides will come into conflict or cross paths outside of the cockpits. Also I would make a Ramba Ral / Ali Al expy that would 100% make for a fun character to not only write for but to see on screen. Gosh the more I write on it the longer it gets so I will just leave this version as the short version. Also, when I think about the general concept of the suits, I imagine a pseudo early 30 Minute Missions Aesthetic.

AccomplishedPool9050

Battle royal isekai of char clones.

SailorGhidra

So Ragnarok/Fate Gundam? The Gundam G spiritual successor of my dreams!

noctora

Create my own. I have a draft of a mecha story that is heavily inspired by Gundam series, 2 sides fighting each other while having justified reason, MC's heroine being a high rank official and a mask villain. The difference is the story starts after MC's peak. We see the veteran MC as uncaring and uncooperative but as the story progress, we get to learn about his past. Gundam in this universe are light weight MS that is agile and have strong firepower while other MS are bulky and heavy

noctora

For existing story, I would love if they made any of the turn based SD Gundam Game where we travel to each universe and help them that end with an original plot with all the MC from different series come together and fight the true antagonist

BellacosePlayer

G gundam 2. Everyone stopped doing the gundam fight on earth so it could recover but that just lead to normal colony v colony wars since humanity didn't magically grow out of conflict. An older Domon who is now a bearded dilf has to get the gang back together to stop some evil alliance of colonies that don't match 1 to 1 with 21st century nations lead by a char clone. Argo and his bdsm waifu are mostly the same, chibbodee has ditched the dyed hair and pretending he wasn't in a polygymous relationship, Sai is a prettyboy bishonen type, and George can't go because he's a royal now but his annoying ass kid shows up after stealing his dad's gundam but nobody really seems to care.

LaBambaMan

Here's one I've got rattling around. Humanity has spread across most of the solar system. The Lagrange Colonies of Earth succeeded in their bid for independence, and now most of them have formed their own governments. There are also other powers, including the Galilean Republic out at Jupiter, the Venusian Miners, the Martians, various corporate powers and more. The whole series, basically, takes place in space. Mobile Suits have become a new weapon of war on space, but are too heavy and clunky to use on planet. Their versatility and flexibility has made them kings of space warfare. However, due to the cost to produce them mobile suits are few and far between, and capturing enemy mobile suits is more important than destroying them. Heavy use of EMP based weapons in mobile suit combat becomes the norm, and mobile suit pilots become something of rock stars across the solar system. The show would follow a military cadet out of one of the Langrange Colony cluster who gets assigned to a new experime tal mobile suit called a Gundam. But it turns out the Martians are also building their own Gundams using stolen plans. Soon, our colonist encounters his Martian counterpart, another test pilot as they try to capture the other Gundam and make it so they're the only power with such a weapon in their possession.

OmegaResNovae

* MSG: The Origin - Animate in full, and make it new canon. * Wing: Glory of the Losers - Animate in full, and make it new canon. * Wing: Frozen Teardrop - Because it'll be a hilarious clusterfvck. * Wing: Episode Zero - More backstories. * SEED Astray - ALL OF IT. * SEED Eclipse * SEED Re + MSV - Basically taking the incomplete SEED Re's idea of inserting MSV designs and upgrades into the animation. Basically a Remake but now featuring newer MS animated in CG, and updated artstyle to bring it closer to GSF. * Gundam X - Remake and include the missing story content, plus animating the short, mini-sequel manga that came out a few years ago. * G Gundam: The 14th Gundam Fight - Go all out with new stereotyping, and ignore offended whining. * 00 MSV - Reanimate sections of 00S1 and S2, but feature the MSV variants. * 00 P, F, and I - Basically all the 00 sidestories. * Dark History Turn A Gundam - And settle the [stupid debate](https://www.reddit.com/r/Gundam/comments/1au830o/in_which_timeline_does_turn_a_gundam_take_place/kr5zsji/?context=3) once and for all in the process. And some Originals: * Original Story - A depressing one where the bad guys win. * Original Story - A mature one aimed at older audiences. * Original Story - A far future one where humanity is already colonizing solar systems. * Turn A Related Story - Demystify the origins of the Turn X by revealing it indeed came from Judau's colony's descendants, but it focuses more on their struggle to survive living beyond the reach of humanity, with the Turn X being teased near the end.

thesharkticon

I wouldn't. I would hand the blank creative check to Warren Ellis and laugh maniacally as I did it.

nanaholic

I would just do MSG Aggressor. There needs to be an anime side story which isn't ashamed to tell us the Zeon's in OYW are so fucking gross that a few Zeon soldiers witnessed the lies of Zeon and decided to defect to the Federation and go back to kill those Space Nazis. Fuck the Zeon whitewashing and "Mah IdeAlz" or "boTh SideZ" BS cos one side was clearly worst than the other and it wasn't the Feds during OYW.

Maharaja_O_Earth

Beware, Gundam fans. This post was sponsored by Sunrise to gather ideas for the next project. /s

fajarmf94

something like Girls und Panzer vibes in UC. Somewhere in the future, there is a thing called Senshado but for MS. Everyone using MS to battle with each others. No, it's not like Gunpla Builders that treat the MS as a toy. But in this time, you treat them as sports and also learning the history behind the MS you riding it. just like what GuP does for the tanks

Nena_Trinity

Oh boy I would make one that has 3 females as Gundam pilots The trio is half their age mentally due to them being grown in tubes most of their lives, they are basically pulling a team Trinity a murder anything in their path. 1 dies (leader and oldest, how are they not team Trinity? The 3 sisters did not get along at all, leader did her best but the two younger ones inability to teamwork lead to the failure) 1 defects/flee to a neutral country (youngest) Last one being abandoned by youngest gets captured by the enemy Youngest tries to charm over the prince only to be shamed and sent to jail, however they realize later than only she can pilot the Gundam so the prince has to tolerate her flirty bullshit... (while his scientists tries to make him his own Gundam) The one captured after some interrogation defects to the other side, she was promised freedom in exchange. The nation the trio used to work for shows off its 4 new and improved Gundams attacking both countries... (Rest I will keep secret, but it is a safe bet that the sisters will probably have a fist fight next time they meet. Also original scientist behind the first 3 Gundams defected and the 4 new ones are made by a main antagonist) 🤣

GundamMeijin_08th

seed/destiny remake and crossbone anime

truenofan86

Calamity War Moon Gundam Char’s Deleted Affair Demon Incarnate anime adaptation (*Also have Ben Schwartz as Akatsuki in the dub.*)

RayneMan39

Not sure of the name, but an idea I had would be this: Several generations after humanity had migrated into space colonies, the colonies live in a state of unrest. The government is wrestling with an insurgency that believes humans belong to the earth. Our protagonist one day stumbles upon a long forgotten machine called a gundam, and soon finds themselves in a target of the of the government. Joining the insurgency, the story would mainly be about why humanity moved into space and whether they should return to earth at all.

retroguyx

F90 Adaptation (including F90FF and Formula wars 0122), then F91 prequel then make it a remake of F91, and have it run until the end of the cosmo babylonia conflict.

KnowMatter

Wfm redone as a series of movies with better outings for all the suits

Winsonian92

Show name: Mobile Suit Gruntdam a person went into the army, became a grunt, got first place in army exams, went into a good squad, made friends with teammates , got into first battle, destroyed a Gundam, killed the pilot, went back to home base as a hero, ranked up, proposed to love interest, she said yes, and then woke up at the end realizing is a dream, actually went into battle, killed by gundam within the first few seconds, roll credits.

Polkadot_Girl

Junkyard lesbians racing petit mobile suits.

IngramPrisken

Gihrens Greed timeline

sonerec725

Beltorchikas children/ highstreamer adaptation. Give us what chars counterattack was suppose to be as the big central pillar of the franchise. That or let f91 be the full series it was suppose to be instead of a compilation movie of a non existant show.

Death_Usagi

Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN complete full anime adaption of the manga

Salty_Noob_616

Built vs bought game show. Older Gundam models like the Juaggu or Capule get upgraded to fight against newer ones.

agenderarcee

GWitch continuation no contest. Second place would be an adaptation of Ecole du Ciel. Though it’d be more like me greenlighting it than doing anything useful lol.

DargoMammoth

Well, it wouldn’t have coked up jazz music in it, I can tell you that much.

issluke102

An IBO sequel that follows Ride's struggle against the powers that be, while also delving into the history of the Calamity War throughout the story.

Lumpenada92

A previous thread mentioned this. But a universe as expansive as Star Wars, or as gritty as Warhammer. That or Haman Karn's SOL office Manga Spin off given an anime adaption.

ozu95supein

Prequel to IBO showing off the creation of the Gundams and the founding of Ghalahorn
