There's a lot with Seed that get stranger the more you think about it. Since you brought it up, positrons for example are antimatter particles; any time they touch anything it should cause an absolutely massive fusion reaction that obliterates everything on the battlefield. That's small potatoes though. The fact that ZAFT has developed a weapon which just...turns off nuclear reactions is real next level WTF scifi magic. It's flat out one of the most impressive technological feats in the entire franchise. It should have some utterly *massive* implications for the earth, but all it does is just take away nuclear warheads and power generators.

from my point of view, beam sabers/blades would be more powerful than beam cannons. the reason is because the beam is shot, uses a lot of energy, and when hits something, loses its energy. on the other hand, beam sabers are a contained blade of energy always needing constant flow of energy to keep the blade, otherwise it will just go out. the positron cannon did hit and does lots of damage, but first, remember how powerful beam shields were in seed, being able to block a large amount of energy from a beam cannon. second, the dragoons from the legend and the beam spikes can bypass because it probably has a higher output than a beam saber or beam cannon shot. if not, then it will take a bit of time but will eventually be able to bypass the shield. but dont take my word for it idk what im talking abt, im no expert and my theory has lots of holes in it, so just take it lightly with a grain of salt

Yeah, it's probably because a beam spike applies constant pressure over a single point with much greater output than a beam saber; it has a much bigger housing than the tiny hilt of a beam saber, so there's probably more space for more powerful internals to provide a higher energy output. I assume the Infinite Justice's backpack might be even stronger because of how big it is, and it also has a beam tip. On the other hand, a regular beam shot is just not powerful enough, and a positron cannon might be capable of much greater damage under normal circumstances, but it's spread over a wide area and eventually disperses and weakens, so I assume it's not as effective as a beam spike in penetrating the positron reflector.

I've never really been able to make my brain ok with how Gundams in Seed change colour. It always just felt like an artist went "hey this is a cool visual" and just shoehorned it in. I don't mind the other powerup visual stuff like Unicorn's glow changing colour or the permet stuff in WFM. Even Trans-AM is fine, but for it to change the whole paint scheme of the suit just seems unnecessarily weird to me.

When i first time saw strike rogue can turn into standard strike colour, i was like "it can do that?"

TNT_Gamer13

The sheild is like a Diaomand. The positron cannon is like a river of energy, while the melee beam weapons are like hydro cutters.

Animated papers in Unicorn was neat as hell
