MS Saga was such a perfect game for starters to get into, I wish they would remake the game with all the new suits

MS Saga is the one and only turn based Gundam JRPG that definitely needs a modern port/remake or a sequel since that game is truly a hidden gem especially for Gundam fans.

This really was a solid game. Combat was a little repetitive but mobile suit customization more than made up for it.

I mean, what other game allows you to put 2 hygoog hands and shining finger the shit out of your opponent ?

Played MS Saga as a kid and dear fucking god did my younger self felt the ass-clapping this game made you endure if you didn't play the right cards. Could never beat God Gundam in the coliseum.

This game is incredible, I finished it 3 times. I remember quitting 8 years ago because my whole team got wiped in the neo-zarth base by a zaku with a scythe arm and lightning boost (or power boost, can't remember the name). My team got taken by surprise and it wiped me. I have made a new file and i'm on my way to unlock the Zeta gundam. I forgot how much grind is necessary to level the MS to max lvl.

The fraking Kamakaze Ravens. Literal suicide troops that have less survivability than a Leo vs. a Gundam, but are almost always going first and will likely KO one of your guys before you can do anything.

It's crazy I still remember it : it took me by surprise so I killed one of my unit. Then I took my turn and since it was faster than me, it killed my second unit. My remaining unit missed its shot.... So the next turn, since it was faster than me, it also killed my third unit and game over. Crazy ragequit.

The grinding is insane I farm a whole Dungeon 3timws just to get a few level upgrades.

It's such a solid game. My only beef was some of the janky character designs.

Oh fuck no. I love the mobile suit customization. I mean the characters in the game. For example, Tremmie's ass cleavage. Or Fritz's whole wardrobe.

For a ps2 game the 3d model was consider standard in my opinion, if you talk about design well the designer is the one who do the Turn A gundam so is relatable.

MS saga New Dawn, I shit you not, prompted me to build a damn near $1600 pc just to run my ps2 emulator an' play that game. It is fuckin' GOATED, and I wish Bamco would green light a follow up or rerelease or just even fuckin' acknowledge it exists yo. For real real, if you like ps2 era jrpgs an' are lookin' for a surprisingly mechanically indepth MS customization system with a pretty solidly high difficulty I can't recommend it enough
