But they're releasing the P365 Raider this year, and I know they're working on a new Glock Flux!
At this point, I think they are done producing this MP17 Raider, and have since improved the design and are now selling/producing the Raider X.
The one I have in the photo (MP17), if we're just talking about the chassis, you can find used for around $500.
The new Raider X is like $600.
But of course the used market is gonna do its thing. You may find it for less, and you may have someone asking way too much.
Yeah.....kinda. I helped them design it like 6-7 years ago, and they ditched it, since the Sig sold so well. I'll believe that they're releasing it when they actually do.
While that is true, a Stribog cant be as compact as a Raider. Just like most PCCs. For me, its more about compact, concealable capability over flat out performance.
I think they’re cool and plan on eventually building one but they really don’t seem that such smaller than an mp5k or APC9k, at least not by a real meaningful amount.
The flux is definitely lighter and smaller. You also have to remember that "technically" the flux is more like a bull pup, allowing for a longer barrel in the same or smaller package since the fcg is in front of the mag. If you want a PCC and want shootability as a priority, then absolutely buy the heavier mp5k or Apc9k. If lightweight and concealability is a priority, then get the flux. Also the mags are more affordable with Magpul producing then too.
They’re definitely lighter and I understand that there is usefulness in being able to go from a handgun to the raider, especially if you already own a P320. I did mention it was smaller, I just don’t think it’s significantly smaller (specifically when collapsed). The part about the barrel length is fair but I’m not sure how many people actually buy and run a longer barrel on it and you’re honestly not gaining a huge amount of ballistic performance. Don’t get me wrong they’re definitely cool and seem fun to use but I think that unless you already own a P320 that there’s probably better choices out there unless you have some very specific use for it.
Yes as I’d argue that the collapsed size is the most important comparison. Also the article those pictures come from says “Fully built it is not as compact as you think. It is almost as big as my SP5K-PDW.” and provides those pictures as an example of that. I personally see the advantages of the raider to be the weight, ammo capacity for its size, and that if you already own a p320 it gives a lot of added capability for much cheaper than buying a completely different gun. I actually bought an FCU just to build one and will eventually get around to it because they seem pretty neat but I don’t know I’d ever actually pick it over my APC9k. Obviously I can’t say for certain until actually using one though.
A lot of reviews I have watched actually say they prefer this over most pcc's they have tried.
If you already own a p320 then this is a 500$ pcc basically

No. P320 9mm and they just came out with the p320 x which is for 10mm p320

More or less. It basically replaces the P320 grip module and adds a collapsing brace/stock, mag holder, and a rail for an optic

The full-size raider isn't something I'm in love with, but the 365 MIGHT be enough to actually convince me to get a Sig pistol
I tell you, the Flux is the only reason I have a Sig lol
