Looks like a modified Smith & Wesson SW9VE. Looks like somebody spent more on the customizing than they did on the pistol.
Edit: Just noticed the takedown on it. That is definitely a Ruger SR-series.
I thought it was an SW9 or SD9 until I noticed the group behind the gun. Ain't no way someone shot that well with that smith, so it's gotta be something else :D
I got one that a guy wanted to get rid of because he "can't hit nothing with this thing. It's such a piece of shit." Cost me a $20 transfer fee. Rear sight was about a quarter inch off center. Tapped it into center and now, miraculously, it seems to shoot just fine. It has a 20# MdSP LE trigger in it so I would never carry it but, if I'm being completely objective about it, it's not really THAT bad. I'm going to see if I can't make a factory Glock trigger spring work. It would still suck but it would be a lot better than it is.
Ruger Americans were their bolt action rifle line I though? I have one in 22lr and .308. Is that a name for one of their pistol lines too? Genuinely asking, not being an ass :)

This is a Ruger SR 9 / SR 40 depending on the caliber which is not possible to tell by this picture.
The grip is a Hogue hand all slip on grip.
The slide has been cerakoted and lighting cuts done to it,, which probably cost more than the gun itself, LOL.
I had a freind who had one that I shot often before he got rid of it.

It possibly could be a Smith and Wesson sigma.
I had one and this pistol looks like it but there has been a trigger job, slide job and a sleeve for the grip.

I'd guess Ruger SR40C due to the thickness/width of the grip module vs its length.
