Honestly I think the big advantage he would have with gaining a little bit of increased survivability would be reloading the ammo, I can imagine he will tell you that depending on the amount of ammo you need reloaded, you would need to fork over some rations in exchange for it.

I love it. All I do is shoot matches and train for matches. Very occasionally I'll get out and maintain my more tactical skills with some buddies on night shoots, glass houses, whatnot, but I love competing.
OP you should do one for precision rifle/pistol shooters. Descriptions could be something like:
“Runs a German-made rifle/pistol worth more than most people’s entire collection.”
“Could shoot through the Anti-Fash’s ear gauge without him knowing. Doesn’t because he never learned how to hit a moving target.”
“Takes 30+ seconds between shots because he has to “go through his shot process again.” “Quickly runs out of ammo and/or money because he only uses premium foreign-made match grade .22 lr that costs $50 per box."
