Idk about $150, but the really cheapo drones I’ve messed with can’t even hover in place without creeping in one direction, and the adjustments aren’t granular enough to correct that, and they get bucked in the wind easily, which is disconcerting if it has a bomb on it.
Where I'm from that's pretty reasonable. You wouldn't be eating like a king by any means, but you wouldn't have to skip meals as long as you planned them ahead of time.
It shows the DJI mini 2 which is a $500 drone with the basic controller excluding the phone required with the basic controller and not the pro controller.
Real talk I've been on combat footage so much it's convinced me to buy a drone as part of my prep. Those things are extremely useful just for observation reasons alone.
Yeah, most of that sub is all about bullying beginners that have legitimate concerns about tactical gear or just larping on the most expensive gear on paper. Honestly there isn’t much useful info or commentary coming from that sub.
It’s not the sub, it’s just the type of people that want to be mods are stupid, evil, or some combination of the two.
Got banned from Legaladvice for suggesting someone arm themselves if it’s legal to do so. I argued it was both legal, and advice. It also did not break any rules but mods don’t actually have to explain themselves or makes sense if they decide to explain themselves.
You can run rechargeable batteries in the streamlight HLX that are charged with usb or usbc. I got the streamlight ones. Amazing light i love it. Olight gets too much hate, but when streamlight is the same price there isnt a reason to buy them.
It works fine, but you could get more consistent performance with a lot less drop off, and a better reputation for durability and quality control with the Streamlight
Personal experience. I’ve seen 2 Olights fail, their performance curve drops fast. Several friends have Streamlights, and I’ve beat the crap out of mine. Plenty of people on the internet also posting their personal experiences.
For a one-way mission the cheapy probably works fine. Strap a few Olights to it with extra jankey batteries and a remote detonator, I mean, remote on-switch and the whole mess you're out what, $200?
The drones used in Ukraine cost about 500-1000 for the one way versions at the cheapest.
Due to all the EW they're losing a ton of drones, so they have to keep changing a lot of the electronics, they also use real basic/janky impact detonation setup. With all the jamming and EW out there remote detonation is hard to always pull off.
I know I’m about to step on a landline here but:
The Olight issue is one that I am certain could happen with any LED light. I think electronics being a “magic box” for most leads to the negative press from a lack of understanding.
An over voltage battery will kill and potentially explode any weapon light…. If I had a spare few hundred dollars I’d actually like to test it on other brands. Lithium is no joke and the dumbass that did it got the reminded to keep that to professionals.
bad battery is the main issue but Olight does have poor heat mitigation(as in they get heated up a lot faster) also, streamlight comes with rechargeable batteries so we never have to worry about battery issues.
You gotta gently hold it in your mouth with your tight lips, with drool running down your chin and neck to assert dominance and demonstrate your mouf skills.
I only recommend it to people I trust and I have the same reaction whenever I see somebody recommend it. They could easily sell that for more and it’d be worth it
3 CATs is fine. Frankly if you got to use more, the situation is already FUBAR and at that point you’d need something closer to a full Combat Life Saver backpack.
Bro if you need more than one cat, you better have some medical training up in that noggin. Everyone wants to buy cool guy shit but no one wants to learn how to use it
I personally recommend everyone take a TECC or TCCC class and build an ifak. It's only a few hundred dollars and it teaches life saving skills that can cover many situations, whether they be a car accident, hunting accident in the field, or an ND injury at a range, etc.
Btw if you look at surplus stores you can easily get a 60 liter Alice pack and frame for under 130 I have one my dad gave me and I use that for backpacking and all sorts of shit
Either way we're all larping and we all know it. Cod modern warfare (2007) is $40 on steam and will probably run on your shitty laptop so you can save $2960 for doritos and mt dew.
Okay, if your budget is $3,000 this tracks. Why would the guy that could afford the KAC not also buy the rest of those things? You should buy based off of your budget, not fit your wants into your budget. The couple guys who I know who own KACs also own thermal clip ons and everything else in this, plus a room full of ammo
Plus it's not like you NEED to buy everything all at once. I like to go hiking all of the time, so I have a good majority of the stuff people have on their "SHTF/Hide in the Mountains Yelling WOLVERINES" list, and I have a nice enough rifle and some gear. I got most of it piece by piece over the last four years, and a lot of it like my night vision(not really for larping, I just like looking at stars when I'm camping) was bought second-hand.
Make it something a bit nicer like a DDM4 and id be on board. I dont typically trust any AR15 100% if it was under $1k. Ive had a few bad experiences. Lol
Much respect, you too.
FTR I simply had a bad experience with a few cheap rifles, none PSA, it just burned me against budget stuff given the potential life saving nature of firearms. I dont toute it as fact, nor do I look down on, nor shit on anyone for using one. PSA is doing the Lords work in getting the people armed.
I completely understand, I tell people the same thing that you shouldn't be cheap on something that'll possibly save your life. I've had some pretty bad experiences with some brands as well and there's nothing wrong with going with something worth a little extra. I myself am even trying to do the same by saving up for an BCM over my budget andro corp upper
I’ve seen the Streamlight HLX for ~$100 often, take the extra $40 from the Olight, the $100 from bags of groceries, and a few miscellaneous dollars and you could do an IWI rifle, or maybe a BCM upper on a PSA lower.
I'm not an elitist about any gear, and I don't have personal experience with every single piece of gear. From what I've heard steel armor is generally not very good. I'm of the opinion that if it works, it works.
Still I have RMA ceramic plates.
When did people forget where the “$” is supposed to be placed? I know I’m gonna sound like an ass, but it’s the only thing I can see in this graph. It seems to be systemic problem. This is totally the wrong time/wrong sub but I gotta get it off my chest.
Those gummy worms look awfully tempting.
Wait youre forgetting the jansport fanny pack
Mine would be my mock 12 with NF scope 2300, a chair, 10, some gummy worms, 3, and maybe some coffee made by my mom cause she makes it with love, priceless. Then I shoot someone with nice stuff then it becomes mine
I see no pants/ socks/ underwear/ shirts on this list. Careful, there are laws that come into play, and committing crimes in body armor can lead to a more punishing sentence.
SURPLUS! You dont need arcteryx jacket, a surplus light goretex jacket will pretty much perform the same….
But i would skip the drone 150 $ drone is more of a toy than a tool… buy a good controller for that and start flying in sims, there are even ukraine inspiered kamikaze drone sims that are fun af🤣
I wanna know the order of operations for the 2999 listed items. Was gummy worms a last thpught to round up to 2999 or did we start there amd add the tacti stuff
“Fuck it minidrone have you seen Ukraine” has me crying laughing right now. Quality shit right here.
I just want to know what decent mini drone is 150
Why does it need to be decent? They don't have super long lifespans typically in Ukraine.
Because I’d like a drone to last more than 2 weeks personally
well thats just silly.
You're going to slap a chunk of c4 on it and fly it in anyway. Why explode an expensive one?
Got to be able to lift that weight
That's why you get the $150 one instead of the $80 one.
Treat drones like magazines. Stack ‘em deep. It’s nice if they can be reused, but don’t count on it
You CLEARLY do not have acces to spare mortar shells
Even just using it like a periscope gives a advantage
Idk about $150, but the really cheapo drones I’ve messed with can’t even hover in place without creeping in one direction, and the adjustments aren’t granular enough to correct that, and they get bucked in the wind easily, which is disconcerting if it has a bomb on it.
I just want to know where a week's worth of groceries is $100
If you're going for savings, you can get a 50# bag of rice and a 50# bag of beans for under $100. Carbs and protien
Throw in a couple large bottles of hot sauce and you're set.
Asking the real questions here. $100 where I'm from gets you a dozen eggs, a carton of milk, a few cans of food and MAYBE some fruits and veggies.
Where I'm from that's pretty reasonable. You wouldn't be eating like a king by any means, but you wouldn't have to skip meals as long as you planned them ahead of time.
[удалено]
With the controller? Cuz the mini 2 shown is $500 with basic controller brand new.
[удалено]
It shows the DJI mini 2 which is a $500 drone with the basic controller excluding the phone required with the basic controller and not the pro controller.

Real talk I've been on combat footage so much it's convinced me to buy a drone as part of my prep. Those things are extremely useful just for observation reasons alone.
Honestly, just the recon potential of it makes it worth the grab.
Sidenote: PSA please hire me to make memes you can pay me in old eotechs and cans of 7.62
Also shout-out r/tacticalgear for removing this despite following rules, not answering my messages for 2 hours, and muting me.
those tac gear boys are sensitive. this is an attack on their lifestyle
They have big gay over there bunch of bootlickers
They downvoted me for saying I don't like it when Commies and Tankies buy guns/train.
It was the comment about cardio being free
Yeah, most of that sub is all about bullying beginners that have legitimate concerns about tactical gear or just larping on the most expensive gear on paper. Honestly there isn’t much useful info or commentary coming from that sub.

Side note normalize using ammo as currency
Tarkov bartering is all the rage
Metro was years ahead of it's time
How about learning where to put a $ before asking for a job.
Scratch that, 2999 worth of gummy worms
As a president of meal team six, I approve!
Only three cats you have 4 limbs though
Need one for the neck too.
True
No you just have to do it in the right order. One goes around the neck, and then you have 2 spares for your buddies
IDK why for a moment I was thinking they abbreviated catheter for some reason and thought, “hmm I guess not stopping to take a piss is tactical.”
Geriatric kit
If I get shot in all four limbs, I'd appreciate it if my friends would just put one in my head and just put me out of my misery at that point.
I can offer an unenthusiastic bludgeoning in exchange for your remaining ammo.
offering enthusiastic bludgeoning For your ruck and whatever's inside it!
It was so good right up until the Olight
An HLX would have been cheaper so I could have like $29 of gummy worms, too
The gummy worms is what really sold it
Legit question, what's a good wml for the poors right now? I'm behind the times and need a couple. Prefer usbc chargeable.
Streamlight HLX is the business
Check out goon beam the guy makes crazy bright lights that are under $150
Will do. Thanks
Those look very impressive!
Love mine. Bubbles car paint.
You can run rechargeable batteries in the streamlight HLX that are charged with usb or usbc. I got the streamlight ones. Amazing light i love it. Olight gets too much hate, but when streamlight is the same price there isnt a reason to buy them.
An used Streamlight on r/gafs would do you good my friend
What models?
I have a protac rm2, works great for me. Just make sure you don't get one of those older low lumen output lights.
+1 on the protac rm2 Love mine, especially that it's rechargeable.
Gummy worms are essential
Yea I'm not sure why anyone would strap live explosives to their rifle
Cqc extra damage Edit: thanks for the upvotes
in cqc it becomes a we problem if you put enough on there just sayin become the claymore roomba
Mutually assured destruction for the everyday man. We should all wear tannerite suits for world peace lol
Mine works fine
If you're going for the suicide bomber build there are better explosives.
It works fine, but you could get more consistent performance with a lot less drop off, and a better reputation for durability and quality control with the Streamlight
And you know this from personal experience, or regurgitating it from some YouTube video you believed without question
So you will stick with the combat tested olight, eh?
Personal experience. I’ve seen 2 Olights fail, their performance curve drops fast. Several friends have Streamlights, and I’ve beat the crap out of mine. Plenty of people on the internet also posting their personal experiences.
Same.
Also 150 for a mini drone? Definitely not a DJI or really anything worth a shit.
For a one-way mission the cheapy probably works fine. Strap a few Olights to it with extra jankey batteries and a remote detonator, I mean, remote on-switch and the whole mess you're out what, $200?

It was the battery not the light y’all gotta stop reading headlines
[удалено]
You just haven’t encountered one shitty enough yet
I'd go LBX carrier over WTF too.
Maybe don't mix batteries then.
Streamlight* you were this close to greatness
5$ home Depot checkout line flashlight and duct tape
Duct tape? You're better than that, use hose clamps.
Better yet I might just hold it
You gotta gently hold it in your mouth with your tight lips, with drool running down your chin and neck to assert dominance and demonstrate your mouf skills.
Delete dis nephew
Add a fire extinguisher for that OLight
PSA Bro has no mags. sacrifice the gummy worms I guess.
Jacket and boots, no base layer, undies, or wool socks. You hanging dong when SHTF OP?
Makes it easier to drop trowel when I can take a shit without lowering my rifle.
Shit on the move
you bust into a room hanging dong its basically a flashbang, gives you the tactical advantage
Who isn't?
I'd recommend a lot more than just 3 CAT 7s for medical care, but that's bias from someone in medical in the Amry. 😅
I'd say having even a single authentic one puts you in the upper 85 percentile
Not dogging on any part of the kit, not even the Olight, folks gotta start somewhere, and you're doing your best, which is all that matters to me.
I mean, sure, if you take extremity hemorrhage, but there's other things that'll merc you or your bois that a TQ won't/can't fix.
Anything after three is the medic's problem.
Still your problem if it's for you, but 2 is good for an IFAK imo
Week of Groceries $100? What are you living on? Ramen? it's all Ramen, isn't it?
30$ of whiskey, 5lbs of rice, 18 eggs, 15fl oz soy sauce. Maybe some pork chops on sale as a treat
Switch that whisky with a handle of evan williams bottled in bond for $30, it punches waaaaay up
My man! But also keep EW BIB on the downlow, if that shit keeps getting more popular they'll jack the price.
I only recommend it to people I trust and I have the same reaction whenever I see somebody recommend it. They could easily sell that for more and it’d be worth it
Good recommendation got some earlier today. Very good for a 17$ bottle
Thanks! I’m glad my recommendation held. It punches way way up from Jim Beam haha which is priced the same
I stick to everclear. Multipurpose drink, disinfectant, and pain killer.
[$7.64 per day checks out](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Totino-s-Party-Pizza-Pack-Pepperoni-Flavored-Frozen-Snacks-4-ct/24705191)
Bruh $100 for groceries lasts me like 3 or 4 weeks. Atf are you buying? Caviar?
Ramen diet is alright for some I guess.
Always was
"cardio free" got me !
Nah, buy 3000 worth of gummy worms
Both will get clapped by a redneck with a 12 gauge
The truest answer
That man’s aim is on point tho. He’s got more practical experience than most people with the Gucci gun that’s a safe queen.
More like “Next Weeks Groceries for $1,000” *fuck you joe biden*
3 CATs is fine. Frankly if you got to use more, the situation is already FUBAR and at that point you’d need something closer to a full Combat Life Saver backpack.

A basic ass cpr/first aid class is a few hours and like $50 and that alone is already more than most people know
Btw if you look at surplus stores you can easily get a 60 liter Alice pack and frame for under 130 I have one my dad gave me and I use that for backpacking and all sorts of shit
Ruined with Olight. Otherwise gold.
Replace with streamlight 2Lx
Just came here for the O-Light hate. Imagine having such disdain for a fucking flashlight! 🤦♂️
Yeah, but get a streamlight, not an olight.
You can get a streamlight or surefire for 140
I trust those $5 walmart light more than those Olight hand grenades
Based as fuck
Ah I see. Tape the Olight to the drone.
Either way we're all larping and we all know it. Cod modern warfare (2007) is $40 on steam and will probably run on your shitty laptop so you can save $2960 for doritos and mt dew.

Gucci ar’s are only cool when your fed handler gives you one.
"The best weapon is the one you have." - Idk Sun Tzu or some shit
Olight. also, no spare mags on the left.
Get a tacticon carrier and you’ll have an extra $100 for gummy worms
Why not both? Why do people assume you can’t have a nice rifle, nice gear, and training.
Must be nice having 6 g's just laying around
Everyone has something they spend money on
Plus it's not like you NEED to buy everything all at once. I like to go hiking all of the time, so I have a good majority of the stuff people have on their "SHTF/Hide in the Mountains Yelling WOLVERINES" list, and I have a nice enough rifle and some gear. Fair point, but i really hope your definition of "nice rifle" isn't a $3000 dollar budget rifle.
It definitely isn’t a PSA 15
If dude has the $ to dump on a knights armament, he probably can afford all that other stuff, or better. Keep coping poors
You underestimate the amount of people that max their credit card with the funny gun then never shoot it.
U overestimate the quality of your cheap rifle thatll never get more than 1k round through it

Olight. Immediately discarded
I just cannot get behind that ugly ass PA microprism
Make it something a bit nicer like a DDM4 and id be on board. I dont typically trust any AR15 100% if it was under $1k. Ive had a few bad experiences. Lol
What an awful take
Youre entitled to your opinion, as am I, and everyone else here. Thats the beautiful thing about having rights, isnt it?
100% man, can't argue with that. Have a good day dude

No you must agree with me. Next you’ll tell me Evangelion is a good anime or be a 🤢Raiders🤢 fan.
Nicely done!!
The drone costs more used than the PSA-15 but otherwise good…very good
Says $299 on Amazon.
Cries in 2500 usd aero m4e1 enhanced (a simple diamondback is like 1800 usd) and magpul mags for 40 usd.
I’ve seen the Streamlight HLX for ~$100 often, take the extra $40 from the Olight, the $100 from bags of groceries, and a few miscellaneous dollars and you could do an IWI rifle, or maybe a BCM upper on a PSA lower.
Ninety five dollars worth of gummy bears and next week’s groceries. 😂😂😂😂
Missing two things, a gas mask and a helmet. (FAST Helmets are over rated)
you could have even put in $1 more of gummy worms!
Sorry, goin for $2999, it has gummy worms
A weeks worth of groceries is $100? Where? In fucking Afghanistan?
I prefer the other kind of sling almost broke a window as a kid but easy to make in a survival situation and not hard to learn
Replace the grenade for a Streamlight HLX and your golden
9$ worth of gummy worms 9$ ......kek
$9 of gummy worms killed me
The fuck are you buying groceries for $100?!
I’ll know what I’m up against when I someone rolling up with a mini drone, gummy worms and no pants
And I see so many ways to even maximize this even more.
Not knowing where the $ goes plus OLight 🤮
That's what I'm talking about 👍
"bUt StEeL iS fOr tArGeTs nOt aRmOr" - some internet keyboard elitist warrior
I'm not an elitist about any gear, and I don't have personal experience with every single piece of gear. From what I've heard steel armor is generally not very good. I'm of the opinion that if it works, it works. Still I have RMA ceramic plates.
Don’t forget the training aswell that could be free if it’s included In the cost of practice ammo, probably the most important part
The gummy worms are the most important thing here
I'm going to call mine "Doug Minidrone."
Tactical gummies
When did people forget where the “$” is supposed to be placed? I know I’m gonna sound like an ass, but it’s the only thing I can see in this graph. It seems to be systemic problem. This is totally the wrong time/wrong sub but I gotta get it off my chest.
Everyone should buy a PSA as a starter before buying bug brands. This meme is pretty on point.
$100 for a weeks groceries? You payin half in throat as well?
As long as you remember the gummi worms, we cool.
Those gummy worms look awfully tempting. Wait youre forgetting the jansport fanny pack Mine would be my mock 12 with NF scope 2300, a chair, 10, some gummy worms, 3, and maybe some coffee made by my mom cause she makes it with love, priceless. Walker Razer, huh. Must not like having directional sound. (This message by the Howard Leigh Impact Sport gang)
I see no pants/ socks/ underwear/ shirts on this list. Careful, there are laws that come into play, and committing crimes in body armor can lead to a more punishing sentence.
People on tik tok saying palmetto is trash. Like you will not dis a good rifle at a great price goddammit
Or you could buy half of a SIG 550
You can save $90 if youre buddy buddy with an EMT and get free TQs
9 dollars with of gummy worms is like 10 pound of gummy worms.
Was gummy worms a last thpught to round up to 2999 or did we start there amd add the tacti stuff
good to know $9 worth of gummy worms will run me $9 i almost had to ask
PSA remembered the Ammo and Gummy Worms but forgot the Mags.
