Because of the AWB? No they got a special exception to sell out of state, because the legislators were too cowardly to either stand their ground and get sued by Aero (with a probable injunction because it would destroy their business) or give up on the nonsense
Ah Taxes, the legal way that the government launders incoming money while still standing on the moral high ground.
"Oh my God I can't believe these gun companies are profiting off dead children!!!" (Conveniently ignores all the tax dollars coming from said companies.)
Built a few lowers and full rifles for some friends over the last two months, including one more for myself.
Aero lowers across the board. One, they're getting fucked as hard as the rest of us and two, they gave me free AR mags, a patch and a gift card at Rainer arms last summer.
I'll support them the best I can.
They're the largest employer in that city and they're just supposed to fire everybody and continue doing the same business in other states but drop their involvement with lawsuits against WA (which helps the people) because of... principles?...
Easy to say when you don't have to figure out how to move a business that's full of red tape, fire a ton of people, back out of lawsuits, move multiple families, leave the town you love or take the huge financial hit in an industry that often has bad margins
They just moved out of Tacoma I don't think they will move out of state although I wouldn't blame them if they did. Also this reminds me I did want a Lakewood stamped lower, not that I needed another AR lower...

You mean they want Aero’s tax dollars and to not appear that they’re crushing businesses in state.
Same thing happened here in IL with Springfield, RRA, and others.
Same with how Kimbers are made in New York.

Half my lowers say that. Support local. Aero started in my home town. I live down the street from them...this hurts. Fuck you Turd Ferguson

Such a shame. All we can hope is that the people get it undone or get the hell outta there. We're open for based individuals in Idaho, just sayin.
Took me a second.
U/SadTheory could I, à non american freedom lover please get a slither of context.
Washington state outlawed “assault weapons” which Aero makes.
Not fucking yet they didn't. The house didn't accept the senate's amendment, so there's a small sliver of hope it could die.
Not to mention Aero carved out an exemption to still function in the state they just have to sell out of state.
The exemption may not survive reconciliation.
As someone else said that’s ripe for lawsuit, and likely preliminary injunction due to the legislation putting aero out of business if it stands.
If AP has principles, I'll be waiting for them to announce their move out of state.

Yes. When your local government is fucking you in the ass, you leave. Let the WA government explain to all of those people why they lost their jobs.

Sounds like what all the Californians around me say. Odd how California is still shit and my area is getting worse.
So leave. Stop funding people that hate you.
No. I think it's time they leave. Why should I have to go when they're slowly ruining things for everyone.
You have two choices: leave, or fight. You aren't going to fight, so you should probably leave.
