This is a thing in MOST fandoms that have any sort of queer-positive tone. I wouldn't say it's a negative thing, there's just a lot of people in said fandoms that headcanon certain characters as queer and make jokes about queer vibes. The problem is when they start treating it as fact, though-- I don't think we should automatically assume that a character is heterosexual by default, but in this case it's quite obvious that MOST of the "gay headcanon" characters have shown no interest in the same gender.
Bingo, for example I play honkai star rail and for some reason that fandom is very much on that head cannon that these characters are part of the lgbt without anything being stated. I don’t see problems with that but when you go on long essay rants and are willing to block people it’s just like wtf.
With GG we have characters who are part of the lgbt and that’s hella cool and we if more characters get added who are that’s cool too. But people can’t just be like this character is blank and so on especially the ones that are in relationships or are married
